I'm not Arab, but one day I passed by a mosque and I heard a Syrian man singing a religious hymn in Arabic and it was the most majestic sound I ever heard live. I stayed till the end of it and was truly mesmerized (later found out where he was from and the langauge).

Next time turn on the Quran and listen carefully, you won't understand the language but you will get a great feeling
I will tell you why, in Arabic and in the Arab world everything has a meaning like people's names ...etc, you heard those long vocals with the runs and melismas and so on, those are cries of pain, it is like saying "ouch" in English, now the evolution of the Arabic song made it where you kind of tell a story reciting those cries of pain, and that what shows who is a better singer. So you got emotional because they deliver very good stories with those cries of pains, BTW very little to no Arabic is in this clip hence cries of pain, and so it got to you, you got it because they where not speaking/singing Arabic they where just crying.
As an arab i know that our singing is one of a kind ..it's pure emotions💕🥺😭😭♥️♥️♥️

Those are not just amazing voices those also are emotional vocals of what the middle eastern went through and most of them they had to fight to get to those stages. Most of the songs that they sing talks a lot about the things we all went through 🙌🙌👏👏👏
Arab been crying vocals in their songs since the Spanish Inquisition you did be surprise of the origin of flamenco which are the Arab of Andalus basically crying while singing.
We were born for this.

i lived most of my life in arabic countries, and i can assure you that those are not the best arab singers in the world, these are their grand students, these are the students of the students of the best arab singers

In Arab world either you're talented or not .. Autotune will not help you...a lot of western famous singers are lucky they weren't born in some Arab country

The one at 4:47 he is not a singer actually, he is some king of religious preformer, but in that video he was training by preforming a part of a song, his nam is Mohammed Bu Jabara
I'll say that it's not about arabs but it's more about eastern culture in songs and vocals, arabs, perses, turcs, andalousian, greek, North-african, kurds...

I really don't know how to approach this: do you learn this kind of stuff theoretically or is there just some part of your soul that you have to get access to, one that is usually shut off? Whatever the entrance, apparently some essential part is missing in average Western singing classes. (But throwing shoes is about the worst insult imaginable in Arabic culture, as far as I've learned, so keep your slippers on for chrissakes.)

Oh please I'm Arabic this is a trash, only couples are good ... and bringing some of the voice singers !!! Those are nothing comparing to Arabic titans singers ... this videos has gone wildly between vocals in a scale more than it deserve ,that's what bothers me I hoped it was way better that that but thanks for reacting by the way
