Nehemiah 13:19 (detailed): share/x5ZPWc...
"From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same YaHuWaH's Name is to be praised." Psalm 113.3
"The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light." Romans 13:12
Yah created light and called it day. The month starts with the moons first light, the day starts with light (morning).
💕 greetings from Tune West Community. We start the Sabbath in the morning. We are very happy to have some added hours on the preparation day, when the sun goes down early. To enjoy the whole Sabbath day including the evening and night, gives me good rest and happy Start in the morning, the first workday. We believe the day of Atonement was special, Yahusha was born in this night from the 9th to the 10th.
Nehemiah 13, From Nehemiah it was a good decision to shot down the Gate, because some was sneaking into the city to default the Sabbath (who started) in the morning. If you study closely, it was because of a rebuke. Likewise our children, very sneaky sometimes and we are told to bind the roles tightly too.
Shalom brother, the first day was made of a evening and morning, the second day was the same and the third and so on and so forth. Now, it's not possible to have an evening without light. How is that possible to have a evening without a light? First light and then evening. It would be like The Creator comes in the scene to start the creation and then He waits 12 hours to say “Let there be light”. Brother, the creation itself just started when light came to exist. It was faster than the light itself, “Let there be light” and it was. After light comes in the scene, later that day come evening and then morning and it was the end of the first day. Second day was the same, “Let there be” and then later came evening and then later on came morning. You are misunderstanding that point brother! Those text are talking about 2 specifics things, completely different.
Shalom brother Matthew. Amein, evening to evening 🕊 Blessings to you and yours.🕊
Thank you very much brother Matthew, I respect your thoughts and views much n do not tk lightly. With that noted, I am not well learned but have a question concerning Lev 23:5 n 6. The fourteenth is not the fifteenth so how can both be the same day? and in Nehemiah 13:19 it states "I stationed some of my servants at the gates so that no load would enter on the Sabbath day." day is not considered even is it? all through out scripture day is light n night is dark, am I assuming things that are not so? also was wondering about Exo 16:23. It state's "Tomorrow is the rest of the Holy Shabbath unto YAHUAH:" I do not read where it states tonight is the Sabbath? Again blessings and lots of shalom toward you n yours brother.
I totally understand. Thank you
Shalom.. ...we only do an evening Passover but start our Sabbath the next morning also Day of Attunement is the ONLY evening Sabbath instruction ! ❤❤❤
So helpful. Thank you brother.
If a day is made of an evening and a morning, when did Yah do His work on the first day? It seems He gives details of His work, He finished, then came evening then came morning and the day ended.. And if day one ended in the morning when did day 2 begin?
Does it make sense that it would have not begun until evening?
Perhaps you are believing it is the observation of the sabbath that begins at night and not the day itself.
The day of Atonement was on the 10th but started on the evening of the 9th…the Passover was on the 14th but the shedding of the Messiah’s blood ( atonement ) started on the evening of the 13th..life is in the blood…this is why the word EVENING is mentioned and not that any days started in the evening …Got Torah Got Truth
So then, "the evening of" implies the evening after the day itself?
@@missdebbie6791 my understanding is that every day starts at sunrise, since it’s the greater light that rules the day..so, yes “ the evening of “ comes after the day part is over..Got Torah Got Truth
@@harryabrahams2770 I would agree that that makes sense.
You see the followers of Messiah wanting to get Yeshuah and the 2 others burried BEFORE the sabbath started that evening.
Peace be with you. Can you comment on exodus 16?? When Moses told the children of Israel - Exodus 16:22-25
How do you keep track with the moon fazes and the leap years and the first day of the year, every year since 1997?
Brother, you are a very gifted teacher and i have learned a lot with your ministry. Therefore, i'm very greatful to our the heavenly Father for the help received through your ministry. This being said, i'd like to make a little correction here. The kem at the end of the word shabbat doesn't mean that the sabbath itself is plural but that the commandment is addressed to a group of people (plural) the plural for the word shabbat is shabbatot and in modern hebrew it can also be shabbatim. Be blessed my brother and thanks again :)
@@DanielJesusreturn I appreciate that information brother. I knew the Aramaic and Greek texts were plural, but I wasn’t sure about the Hebrew. I’ll look more into that. Thank you. 🙂
@@emjmnc Thank you for having taken the time to answer my comment brother. Stay faithful and be blessed :)
Matthew 11:11
I was just wondering at what point Sabbath truly started, and when should we blow the shofar. We usually wait for the sun to dip below the horizon, but this makes more sense. Thank you for the scripture reference.
@ShuwshanEmeq-xb3mk sunrise to sunrise Jesus said there was 12 hours in a day and 12 hours in a night
What days are the Sabbath days on our Gregorian calendar?
The Creator's Sabbath days are not fixed on the man-made Gregorian calendar. You cannot find "Saturday" anywhere in Scripture. If you read Jubilees ch 6 and 1 Enoch you will see how to find the Sabbath by watching for that first crescent moon then that next day is new moon day, day 1 of the month, then count 6 work days then enjoy the Sabbath
If the day starts at night when is the night starting?
Yahushua answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this world. YOCHANON (JOHN) 11:9
But if a man walk in the night, he stumbles, because there is no light in him. YOCHANON (JOHN) 11:10
The word "day" can have different meanings, contextually. It doesn't always mean "12 hour daylight period" or even "24 hour period."
I have to correct you at the 1:08 you say there is no command to observe sabbath starting in the morning?
Let’s look at what Moshe said:
Exo 16:23 And he said unto them, This is that which Yahuah has said, 👉🏻Tomorrow is the rest of the Holy Shabbath unto Yahuah: את bake that which ye will bake today, and את seethe that ye will seethe; and את that which remains over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.👈🏻
Exo 16:24 And they laid it up till the 👉🏻morning, as Mosheh bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.
Exo 16:25 And Mosheh said, 👉🏻Eat that today👈🏻; for 👉🏻today👈🏻 is a Shabbath unto Yahuah: today ye shall not find it in the field.
So we can see that Yah told moses to tell them to cook everything on the sixth day and keep whatever is leftover until the morning because the morning begins the day as it is written for today is the sabbath.
Nope a biblical day started at sundown.
@@Jeff-xt7xs based on this and many other passages the light begins the Yom. Lesson #1 he separated the light from the dark
Light = Yom
Dark = Layla
@@Jeff-xt7xs let’s have a look at it in the Greek:
Gen 1:16 And G2532 God made G4160 G3588 G2316 the G3588 two G1417 [2luminaries G5458 G3588 1great]; G3173 the G3588 [2luminary G5458 G3588 1greater] G3173 for G1519 beginnings G746 of the G3588 day, G2250 and G2532 the G3588 [2luminary G5458 G3588 1lesser] G1640 for G1519 beginnings G746 of the G3588 night, G3571 and G2532 the G3588 stars. G792
What you’re missing is that, when Moses says: “Tomorrow is the rest of the holy Sabbath,” this does not mean: “Tonight *is not* the rest of the holy Sabbath.” It’s a negative inference fallacy.
@@XavierPutnam so you just delete the parts you don’t like? Even creation week teaches this lesson. Even the resurrection account shows this? All of scripture concurs with this understanding. Nightfall is NOT the beginning of another day.
