Y’all this is embarrassing but the disc I was throwing is not a heat 😂 it’s a surge SS it was given to me and they said “pretty sure it’s a heat”. I should’ve looked it up all y’all sorry about that! Still tho heat great disc 👌
The Insanity is insane. My favourite flippy sidearm disc. Throw it on a slight anhyzer and it will hold the line and slowly pan out straight in the end. It has enough torque resistance not to flip over but flippy enough to hold the line.
Latitude 64's Anchor is underrated IMO. If I need that extra distance that my slammer can't reach but a fairway skip or distance isn't wanted, I pull out the anchor. Also, works great into a headwind approach for me. I am a Navy veteran which led me to getting a disc with an anchor on it. Love my metal flake anchor, staying in my bag for the long ride.
Being very new to the sport, I absolutely love the Heat. When I hit my lines correctly, it can go right, left, and amazingly straight. Easy to throw, Hyzer Flips super easy, and super comfortable in my hand. Very similar to the Sidewinder in terms of how it flies. Can't go wrong.
Anvil is a very underrated disc. Nice to see some light shed on it. Westside as well as lat64 has alot of great molds. Nice to see this channel bring up Westside without immediately bashing it when it isn't related to Ricky for once.
I've been really liking the streamline Lift in Eclipse plastic. It has similar numbers to the insanity. It's right in that sweet spot of stability where I don't get accidental turnovers but still get plenty of glide. Also the Eclipse plastic glows longer than the glow plastics from any other company I've tried so far
I got a glow insanity last year and it’s awesome- flys great and glows super bright. I also normally bag a K1 Falk and it’s one of my favorite discs My underrated vote would be the Lat64 Claymore. It gets overshadowed by other popular midrange, but it feels great in the hand and flies dead straight
I love my Insanity. It is definitely my go to distance driver. As for a disc i think is underrated, as far as my local league is concerned, is the Latitude 64 Claymore. It is my favorite disc, and the one i used to win the one disc challenge for league night.
I love my Insanity! I’ve had mine in the bag for a few years now. One disc I think is pretty underrated is the MVP Resistor. Hands down THE best utility disc I’ve ever thrown! It’s basically a baby Firebird.
Has anyone ever thrown the Axiom Clash? I found a used one 2 years ago and instantly fell in love with it. Hands down the best Eagle or Teebird like disc, but I’ve never seen another one or heard of anyone who throws it.
Discraft Ringer is a GOAT. A slightly less stable zone and with a bead but suuuuuper for both backhand and forehand. Bagging two Ringers and two Zones for all the putter shots needed.
Love having the Anvil in my bag for some extreme turns in the woods. It starts slowly fading almost out of my hand. My steep hyzer is not very reliable, so this disc lets me get the same result from less of an angle on the throw.
I find Heat crazy. You can throw into quite strong headwind with full power (massive hyzer) and it doesn't flip to roller. I don't understand how, but I love it. Thrown flat it can flip, but it's not a flippy disc unless you decide to make it flip.
Awesome video! Been getting into the channel more recently and have been enjoying all the content! Thank y'all! For my take on the underrated disc(s) would have to be either the Innova Invader, which I bag and it's my baby say the least, point and shoot type disc once you season it in. I recommend the luster plastic...chef's kiss! And my second take is the infinite discs Centurion halo s-blend, its a do it all disc. Hyzer flip to big turn and dependable fade at the end. Feels great in the hand! Well that's my two cents.
My third ace was with a Heat and it was on a total control line. I love throwing the Heat so I can ironically put less heat on it. LOL. Great video as usual!
Gateway devil hawk and lone star armadillo will never ever leave my bag and I don't hear much about either of those at all. Armadillo is for extremely straight short range shots and the devil hawk is my overstable approach
The insanity was my first thought at the very start of the video, the atom was next. Its my putting putter and only second to the envy as a throwing putter. It's probably behind the envy, proxy, pilot, nomad, anode, and maybe the ion when people think of mvp family of putters. And seems to be very rare as a putting putter, to the point I thought I might be doing it wrong?
for people that have a little bit faster arm speed, but play at higher elevation, the insanity is the sickest controllable fairway out there. its so good in the woods.
I love my Innova Atlases and most people don't even know they exist. They're a perfectly balanced mid that flies like an envy but faster and with less fade (It's also an overmold disc). Or maybe more like an axiom Hex but more torque resistant (the Hex has more glide but I like the reliability of the less glidey atlas). I think the ONLY reason they aren't a huge hit is because the overmold has 4 little knobs anchoring it to the flight plate and that bothers some people. If you can get past that though, they are incredibly reliable and consistent.
Had a guy that I met at a local course let me pick through some of his extra discs to keep what I wanted and the Insanity is one the two I grabbed from him and I really like it
I bag a heat so it was really nice to see it on the list! Insanity is on my "discs to buy" list so hopefully I'll get to throw that soon! Great vid as always!
Ayo I love my heat. With just starting getting into disc golf over a year ago and still having a noodle arm, the heat is my go to driver. It just feels really controllable. May have to look at some of these others on the list
I don't necessarily consider these discs underrated but my favorite discs are specifically the Pro Shryke, G Star Roc3, Opto River, Origin, Gold Diamond.
MVP relay is also very underrated IMO I never see it on UA-cam an it baffles me. So amazing for tight wooded shots...it's my go to for soooo many shots.
Exodus is super underrated. Teebirds, Athenas, and others are all super similar but the exodus is something different that does a similar job. Really controllable and beats in slowly.
Just recently picked up an Exodus to compliment another much underrated disc: the Maul. When the Exodus beats in, does it go to straight or does it start to turn?
You know the original exodus is the L mold eagle mold. It was reused after the eagles. My favorite disc is an 11 time climo eagle. They beat in and fly super straight. Very reliable. They start out pushing over stable.
Just got an Insanity. Can't wait to Throw it. The Heat is so slept on because the Avenger SS is so ubiquitous. Discraft throwers know that the Heat is right up there with the Sidewinder for top-tier fast fairways.
Little known fact about the insanity.. . It is a pretty awesome thumber disc which was surprising to me but now I use it all the time for three hundred foot thumbers
I like and throw a couple of different Kastaplast molds, but in the last year over 12 tournaments, leagues, and 50 casual rounds, I've only seen 1 other person throw anything by Kastaplast and it was a Berg. It's sad because the plastic is so good.
@@MonkeyFreeZone Funny to hear, beacause here I'd say at least around 20-30% haves the Reko as their main putter, and I'd say around 80% bags at least one Kastaplast mold😆
Checked the comments to see if anyone said devil hawk. I'm surprised someone did since it's extremely underrated. I find myself using it on almost every hole. 100% agree with ya
This is the first video of yours I've seen. Hit subscribe a couple minutes before you even got to your big pitch for more subs. Anyone have feedback on Anvil vs Harp? I just got my first Harp (used) and I'm beginning to enjoy it. It's really OS for my noodle arm but it's starting to teach me a usable forehand.
Dude were you holding a Surge SS during your Heat segment? Edit: Never mind saw you already addressed that, both the Heat and Surge SS are great discs for sure!
Latitude64 Trident Unfortunately out of production 😥 One of the best discs ever made...very overstable Fairway Driver. Search for very old runs or ice runs. They are more overstable and as they should be
Doesn't surprise me that the list is mostly Fairway drivers. Overall in the disc golf community that is an underrated category as a whole, but probably my favorite one as a lower speed thrower.
I think those flippy fairways get overshadowed because most of the MPO field doesn’t throw them. Paul just throws a beat in undertaker instead of a heat. Ezra and Brodie are throwing flipper passions or vultures instead of something that starts out US so they are rarely shown on coverage and on pros UA-cam since they are discs for the common player
Insanity base numbers are 9 | 5 | -2 | 1.5 not -1. Loving my Insanity so far but mine is a -2.5 so I'd really like to find one that is a bit more stable. I'm moving away from Discraft and over to MVP/Axiom currently. I never really liked the Heat even when I was a Discraft only player. It just didn't click for me. I like the Avenger SS much better. However as for under rated...for Discraft I'd have to say that's the Glide. That's been my work horse under stable disc ever since I first got one. It is super windy out here all the time though so I tend to not bag under stable discs much. Too unreliable in the wind.

Deleted my comments, 🤔. Great video as always. I bag a Falk and that specific Surge SS as my straight Flick disc.
Great choices!
Love the video and put y’all on to my buds got a solid 5 subs!
Literally unwatchable now 🙄
Aren't discraft names embossed on the rim? 😂 regardless of the oops. These poles/videos are always interesting so thanks!
The Insanity is insane. My favourite flippy sidearm disc. Throw it on a slight anhyzer and it will hold the line and slowly pan out straight in the end. It has enough torque resistance not to flip over but flippy enough to hold the line.
Also note about your comment at the very end about the Proton Plastic... (Proton + = OS, Neutron = Stable, Electron - = US)
Latitude 64's Anchor is underrated IMO.
Agreed I collect team stamped ones when they first came out love the anchor. Only person I know that throws it
Anchor is an awesome disc. Bagged one immediately when I built a lat 64 bag
Mint Discs Lobster!!!!! In Apex plastic, feels amazing and is a perfect understable mid. One of, if not my favorite disc in the bag.
Not gonna lie, I cackled when you said you'd keep the bag and fill it with the ashes of a thousand Bergs.
Anvil is a very underrated disc. Nice to see some light shed on it. Westside as well as lat64 has alot of great molds. Nice to see this channel bring up Westside without immediately bashing it when it isn't related to Ricky for once.

For me, the most underrated disc is the DD Vandal in Moonshine plastic. Basically similar to the top three on the list. But my most versatile thrower.
You guys ever try the flow by latitude 64? Keep up the great work!
I love my Insanity! I’ve had mine in the bag for a few years now. One disc I think is pretty underrated is the MVP Resistor. Hands down THE best utility disc I’ve ever thrown! It’s basically a baby Firebird.
Westside Anvil is the perfect OS approach disc! Bagged one for three years now, and it only gets better. Like Fine Wine
Found a special edition anvil last year without a name on it and it’s been in bag ever since. Love it for certain shots.
Me and my brother both throw one, mine's still so stable, money for that slot
Love the Alfa Cosmic. It's a slightly longer version of the 7/5/0/2 fairway drivers, and it gets you easy fairway distance.
Hooligan discs are really underrated. They only have 4 discs as of right now but they are awesome! I think everything should have them in the bag.
I have 3 TISwirl heats from this year! Amazing disc. About to cycle in a new one!

I actualy have that same insanity I have a few colors but that one is my favorite. Love these discs 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Reminds me of that old Swedish phrase, "The Falcon (FALK) can soar, but finds its rest on the mountain (BERG)."
The insanity was my first thought at the very start of the video, the atom was next. Its my putting putter and only second to the envy as a throwing putter. It's probably behind the envy, proxy, pilot, nomad, anode, and maybe the ion when people think of mvp family of putters. I love the insanity it's a great disc some other mvp/axiom that I feel is underrated is the oop switch, the orbital and the impulse

My underrated disc is the Infinite Dynasty and the Prodigy A2
I throw the hybrid Anvil. Forehand at waist height. Rip it 200ft super straight and the fade comes out in skips.
Subscribed. I have 3 Falks and they all fly differently.
I don’t hear enough people talk about the mantra from thoughtspace
Mantra is good stuff
The Lat64 Opto Havoc. The Lat64 Gold Striker. Prodiscus Ultrium Razeri. Viking Discs Storm Axe. Innova Gstar Roc3. Westside Bard. Westside Pine. Lat64 XXX.
I would like to try the Falk
The answer is always the Berg
I don't necessarily consider these discs underrated but my favorite discs are specifically the Pro Shryke, G Star Roc3, Opto River, Origin, Gold Diamond.
I think the dynamic trespass, westside king, axiom paradox, and kastaplast svea are not well known. I throw all of them and they are great discs!
I think the most underrated disc I’ve tried is the Tactic. It’s not quite as OS as the Zone, but I find that the workability is really nice
Lat64 Claymore is by far the most underrated mid range on the market
Agreed.
Gateway Assassin for me. Such a versatile disc for me.

Yes neutron Relay and proton PYRO shreds the woods
Somehow I wasn't subbed. I got it done. I've been on the fence with the Falk, i guess I will get one and try it

Just got an Insanity. Can't wait to Throw it. The Heat is so slept on because the Avenger SS is so ubiquitous. Discraft throwers know that the Heat is right up there with the Sidewinder for top-tier fast fairways.
Good call on the "vs Avenger SS". I've thrown both and like the Heat a little more, but I only have 300' arm speed so YMMV
The infinite discs Dynasty is truly goated with extra sauce. Long live the CD2
"I'll fill it with the ashes of 1000 Bergs" 🤣
