It all depends on the case. Most charge an hourly fee.

When you say the respondent can’t cross examine the complainant, does that go for all colleges or does it just depends on the rules of the college

The respondent can't cross examine the complainant, but the complainant can't cross examine the respondent. Both the respondent and complainant are supposed to have advisors (an advisor can be a staff member, lawyer etc.) that will cross examine the other party.

Look, I’m just somebody who had kids that went through school and just got out of school but I have questions after reading these rules and I got changed I think since Covid I don’t know if you’re gonna adjust them in your five here but I’m trying to find them on the Internet from what I seen Looking through these rules it’s like allowing sexual behavior from a teacher to an elementary student because they’re saying elementary kids don’t have a right to say no am I getting that right? And I don’t see anything where somebody that’s older middle school high school is allowed to proposition a teacher for like straight good grades don’t have to do anything just give me good grades and I’ll give you sexual favors. Is that against the rules?

Both of those would be against the rules. It would be a crime in Mass for the adult in that scenario too.

During a meeting, my sons professor brought up title 9 after stating that a student put a complaint against my sons art piece! After hearing what title 9 includes it doesnt make sense that they even mentioned title 9. This is scary, and the whole art department is harrassing my son.

That definitely doesn't sound right. I guess it would depend on what the art depicted, but I'm having a hard time trying to understand how Title IX would apply there.

With the current rules, we definitely write less. That could change with the new rules. The reason is because you don't want to give away strategy in the writing.
