I was isolated and ostrasized at work. Vince you are 100% correct. Being isolated messes with you mentally and emotionally. It was the first stage in a campaign by co-workers and management which lead into full workplace bullying, harassment and sabotage of my work and professional reputation. All due to me making workplace protected disclosures.
Thank you so much for this video. I filed a claim with the eeoc but did not realise isolation was retaliation. I am the most senior music teacher at a school by over 25 years. I was watch youtube the other day and a video of the music department performing came up. It was sent to the whole community. I was never even told about this. Then, on the opening day of school I walked up to the building and the entire instrumental music department was performing for the staff, students and parents. I was never told about this. Many students, staff and parents came up to me and asked why I was not performing. I could not answer. Talk about feeling destroyed when families you have know for decades ask you why you are not performing!
My isolation and ostricization was found bc the RMO actually INSTRUCTED my coworkers to stay away from me and not assist me if I needed assistance as a new employee bc as the supervisor she needed to "evaluate" me. This only became a "thing" AFTER protected activity involving her. So the retaliation/reprisal (bases) was the ostricization/isolation (adverse action) after the protected activity. I believe that's how it was sorted for this one 🤔
While engaging in protected activity due to religious discrimination where I was denied promotions due to my religious need for time off, after I complained about verbal harassment and workplace violation to Employee Relations, six days later I was placed on Leave Pending Investigation and asked numerous questions about my religion. Doesn't this further prove my religious discrimination charge that I have filed with the EEOC. Also, does a vengeful witness help solidify my case of discrimination, i.e. a former friend offering up true and false information concerning me to my employer following a fall out between us?
I complained and wrote grievances about racial discrimination and they retaliated saying I was on alcohol and or drugs forced me to sign a drug and alcohol consent form and told me I had to go to the clinic for testing when I got to the clinic they didn’t email any paperwork for me to proceed with the test I told my employer I needed the paperwork and was told I was fired for refusing a drug test
@@JobAttorney I was told by a lawyer to contact the EEOC which I did a week after I was fired and they’re still investigating the employer sent their position statement and I sent my rebuttal statement I’m just waiting to hear back from the EEOC I’m now 10 months in the investigation

I worked for a small company when I requested a reasonable accommodation--my boss refused my calls, the office staff would barely speak to me. It was horrible. I felt so alone and "disliked" even though I understood that they were afraid to speak to me.
I am being blacklisted here in NYC by the FBI, CIA, NASA because they wanted me as a secret agent and I refused the offer. They offered me so many rewards and I still declined. They did not take it lightly and so they went after my friends and family and started a Smear Campaign which ruined my reputation. I had family members ask me about questionable things I supposedly did according to the government and now the government is trying to set me up for entrapment by hacking into my accounts. I really want to file a suit on them.
Amazing videos appreciate all the awesome knowledge you are sharing. I am wondering if you can answer one question for me. I am about to hire an attorney but have done most of the work so far on my own and recently filed with the eeoc and a week later received an email that states" Your charge has been identified as appropriate for early mediation " and goes on to tell me about how successful the national mediation program is. Does this letter me they skipped the investigation or they saw the evidence submitted and decided thier is probable cause for discrimination? I was expecting to wait months and it seems it was fast tracked.
No, it's part of the process and paperwork given when they are making you aware of your rights.. Imo opinion, mediation nips it in the bud and saves both parties for potential expensive litigation if you proceed with the formal. Mediation, again imo is a good tool bc you get heard and sometimes you can gain insight on the other sides stance. There is a flow chart out there with timing of this process (federally) and the investigation and mediation seems to run simultaneously especially if there is no resolution at mediation. During my mediation I was told that nothing said in there could ever be repeated or used as evidence in any proceedings so even if they admit it in there, we can't use it.. Again that's my understanding when I went through it.. I'm not an attorney or anything like that or telling you what u should or should not do 👀 😏
I’m being retaliated /isolated daily I am a mgr and now the people I advise to do the work are not listening to me and immediately say that I’m mean for no reason. Yet they will listen to other mgr
Hi, everything you just talked about has been happening to me in the last year after I complain about some woman making up stories about me. I live in the Chicago area. Do you know anybody that I might be a good employment lawyer that could help me. Thank you.
We have videos on the channel about how to find a good local employment attorney. I would start there. If you can't find local representation, you can start speaking to national firms like ours but the national firms do tend to be pricier so check locally first.
@@JobAttorney hey Vince my attorney said he is having health problems and wants me to find another attorney that can help me , could you please give me a call ? Or can I call you ?
@@Antstrumentals Ideally you would find local counsel, it will be cheaper. If you cannot, give us a call and let them know I said they could schedule a call directly with me.
