In this Cities:Skylines [Sunset Harbor DLC] video you can see a noob, pro and modder building a hospital in 3 different forms. The noob has no mods and isn't that good in building things in C:S. The pro is better and the hacker has a modded game with all the mods needed for building an huge realistic hospital!

You say "noob" for the first one, but it's still better than in most of the playthroughs I've seen.
And it's unfair to call it "noob" anyway. You aren't demonstrating a lack of knowledge, you are demonstrating carelessness.
The moder made hospital with noob's patient capacity spend more time but with useless glass roofs))). The Pro demolish two city blocks for triangle building set but could just put two new hospitals

Is there any actual traffic/happiness difference between just slappin' a hospital, school, or first response buildings on a road versus creating a dedicated space for it?

The "noob" version is still very cute. I never think to set aside an entire designated area for a hospital, but I sure do it for schools (and universities pre-DLC).
I definitely prefer the pro version. As beautiful as the modded version is, I need a hospital that functions the best. That medical plaza was great.

That "noob" is not a noob. A noob would just put a hospital right in the middle of a low density residential area. Unless, you say it is a noob to make us build better cities. Despicable.
I want to add that I name my hospitals NoMercy Hospital, just leaving that here for you all.

@@orien2v2 no that would be even larger. i was missing the helipad, the extra satellite buildings that are detached from the main hospital. the general office space that belongs to the hospital. it;s own separate internal road system. and loads more.
I love the modders hospital too!! So realistic!! But the noobs looks the nicest and is the best.

For me this series is the most useful.
I dont like using too many mods due to low spec PC. Can you also do firestation/police station and other key city elements such as city entrances, highways and so on?
Again, i just put it randomly between buildings.

Honestly, I’m no where near a noob. I just place down a road and put down a hospital. I actually think that you could make more high density residential to really boost your population up. A lot of skyscrapers would be great for your skyline. Can’t wait to see what you’ll do next episode!

I am the noob even though I have over 700 hours in game 😂😂 but even I haven't done that amount of detailing for a noob level hospital. I love the pro one though that's my favourite one. The modded one was nice, but meh too much effort for me to even download all the needed mods lol.

I usually just build a build-in hospital in a 20u*20u(two blue grid) open area and add some parks next to it.
After this episode,
I would like to build a large district hospital, A hospital in scale like Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in Hong Kong and build on the hillside for my new city. :P

I’m in the noob column since I’m on the PS4 and can’t use mods, I never really thought about putting multiple hospitals in one square but I do use parks, trees, and paths in it, I would prefer the pro hospital since it’s more efficient than the others and looks nice.

The modder was most realistic in that it had a couple of parking garages and several buildings in the complex, but it had only 1/3 the beds of the pro version which wasn't realistic at all. A true modder would have plopped down the same hospital building 3, 4 or even 5 times in the same place to get the bed count up to a realistic level.
And of course the pro version took up twice the land area as the noob version completely unnecessarily. Even the noob version took up much more space than any true noob, pro or modder would likely take if this was going into an existing neighborhood and you were attempting to minimize disruption to the community.
All of them had an unnatural affinity for useless pedestrian paths and excessive landscaping. Any real life hospital would fill its land mostly with buildings and parking lots, not a forest of trees.
I know a lot of hospitals with parks sorrounding it where the patients can walk and sit around in the nature

Honestly? I prefer the pro version because it is more efficient. Yes the modder version is magnificent and more realistic in exterior, but it has the same amount of people as the noob version. So no, not the modder. I can't say which one I am because I don't have city skylines yet. Why? I have old bad computer that lags a lot. So I'll wait until I have a new one so I can get the game. But if I would rate my envy of having a good city, I think I would be between the people and noob. Not good, but not bad either.
The modded would have a detailed city around the hospital instead of basic zoning though
