Just coming upon your channel and your wife's channel now, I'm loving both! RockJock is actually a separate company from Currie, but it only had happened like a few weeks before you posted this video. My understanding is that splitting the company in two made the most sense as the third generation prepared to take over from John (who took RockJock) and Ray and Charlie (who kept Currie). I'm looking forward to catching up on more of your videos, cheers!
Highly suggest! I have been running it for a little while now, even just did a comparison side by side on same obstacles video for my channel. If you have any doubts, just go for it! Made my decision after watching this channel. Love this channel!
This is the best of no worlds. It's ok on road and ok off-road. I am surprised to see you running this. The quick release sway bars were better at stiffening on road. And better articulation off road.
You both have good points. I would tend to agree with the aspect though that for crawling it is better to be completely disconnected. Problem is is that most of us crawl and then do a high-speed trail and then crawl again.
after washer needs a lock pin of some kind then allen nut. If washer was not round but sq & main metal component w/gearing had a sq opening to line up w/,then pin then nut is just a keeper.
I really enjoy your videos! I've got a 16 Sport that I'm starting on and discovered the channel while looking at diff options. Thanks for all the info!
I installed the rock-jocks, and just put 1400 miles on them...yah a little more body roll, but the fact that I don’t have to disco?!? Great piece of kit all the way, and the flex is pretty damn good too.
EVO HD links. You can get them in various lengths. So you can get them a bit longer than what came with the Antirock. They are super beefy. I was surprised to find they actually reduced my body roll just a bit. FYI.
Loving these videos Ben! I remember in one of your previous videos you had a shot on the side of the body to show roll on the street fully disconnected, will you be taking any video of on street body roll for comparrison? I am close to pulling the trigger on Antirock myself that is the biggest concern for my daily driver jku. Great work!
U need to make gear sway arm prt longer & hve 3 diff end holes to connect up adjustment & if u break it off at hole just use 1 or 2 nd hole. Your missing arm of triangle & bracket to frame that limits max travel b4 it went plumb & flipped over.
Anti-rock.... I needed that at windrock Park this weekend in East Tennessee. I got a rock stuck in my brakes and it sounded like the axle had broken. 🤣 It was so bad the Jeep would not roll
I looked at these. I went with ORO sway loc. give you the best of both worlds. On-road and Off-Road modes with a flip of a switch. Antirock is old technology
My passenger side quick disconnect won't clear the draglink, so I have to completely remove the link to disconnect. It gets old try to make sure it's the proper length every time. I'm thinking of getting an anti rock.
The ball joint threaded rod req & left thread I would make 2 rods not 1 rod. Allowing the two rods to work together but not straight line over top & bottom but offset 3/4" between ball joint connections. U will basically hve a empty bottom & empty top end of double threaded rod assemply. 2 rods working together but not straight over 1 another & 1/4-1/2 of built in flex + offset between bars. If 1 breaks u hve empty ends top & bottom or u could double link is running ski course, phat chance at track oval.
Hey bro saw that you recently got Falcon Shocks! Congrats! 😁 Just an FYI. I highly recommend you also get a front shock relocation bracket. If you plan flexing on rocks that is. Without the bracket the shock body rubbs on the frame! Rock On Bro!
Good video, thanks for explaining. Ohh as I side note I figured out my knocking sound I was getting in the rear if the jeep. You would never guess what it was?
@@JKGearandGadgets LoL sorry I got off the CPU right after I posted the comment. It was the body hitting the DV8 rear bumper on the passenger side. Guess when it was installed they mounted it too close to the body.
I had my rubicon disconnect fail as well. Did this upgrade and have been very happy about it. As you can see in some of my uploaded videos. And soon to be comparison vs disconnected, connected and the antirock on the same obstacles
Have been running TeraFlex quick disconnects for a few years. We look at the Anti-Rock now and then but not sure it is a good mod for us. Will watch your next few off-road vids to get a better idea.
With the antirock, I no longer have to get out and disconnect and then have to figure out how to reconnect later down the trail. Ive seen some disconnects that the little ring used to pull the pin out will break and that pin gets stuck in there thus leaving you needing a new pin/ring/endlink (whatever you chose to do), unless you get pliers and yank it. On road, the stock front sway bar is nice over really bumpy, pothole covered roads, but i find the antirock is much smoother riding, especially when hitting speed bumps from an angle, going over the curb to enter a driveway (again, at an angle), and on uneven surfaces like little water drainages in parking lots and neighborhoods. I would recommend doing the front sway bar and keep the stock rear, considering how skinny the rear is and how easily it flexes already.
My Jeep has a 6inch lift. My only concern is the rear. It’s stock. The og sway bar isn’t even adjusted right and it looks like a twig ready to snap. Will this product that you installed help with onroad body sway?
I have the antirock only on the front. Any difference by adding antirock to the back? Especially highway driving. Would the body sway less or more you think while driving?
Give it a week or more of having the antirocks and youll notice they start to feel way more loose and youll get more body roll. I thought mine were sturdy as heck and could flex like crazy and then become rigid again and keep me stable but not too long later I had a ton of body roll and everything felt really loose. Just the nature of the antirocks
I havent had that feeling of them getting loose on me. I'm pushing 2,000 miles since install and they feel the same as the day I installed them. Just did a comparison video of them this last weekend that I will be posting up in a couple of days
Curious to your experience with it... been planning out a 'new' build and some of the high clearance JL bumpers recommend replacing the sway bar to free up clearance from the rubi disconnect. Also I am lazy and hate disconnecting my sway bar every time I go out lol.
Were the same. Im lazy and dont want to get out to disconnect either so I just got one and its fantastic. I wouldnt worry about getting the rear since the stock rear swaybar is already skinny enough that it will pretty much hit full flex before a connected front will begin to flex in the slightest. Once the antirock is on, your handling will feel like driving an ice skate because the jeep likes to tip side to side while driving, although its so minimal, you barely notice it until you have to corner hard or hit something that bumps the jeep over at a good angle like a speed bump or curb or whatnot.
So I am running into the same issue you had with the arms coming too far forward to where the rear axle sits. If I undermount like you did, everything lines up perfectly... Have you ever run into departure clearance issues yet running the rear flipped?
its worth it with the TJ because you have two or three other holes drilled in the arm and you can move the end link to tighten up or loosen the overall ride quality. When an antirock is installed, its like driving an ice skate, imagine how the skate sits in one spot while the shoe (or body) tips side to side. This body roll really isnt that noticeable and if it does seem like too much, just tighten it up by moving the end link. The front sway bar from factory is really thick while the rear is quite thin so you can do like me and just get the front and call it a day.
@jkgearandgadgets did you install either of the RockJock Antirock sway bars on your gladiator? I'm really interested in installing both the front and rear on my JT and was wondering if you did and could offer any feedback. Thanks.

@@JKGearandGadgets Thanks for your help - Turns out, its hard to troubleshoot issues while inside your own Jeep. Turns out I needed some rear bump stop tweaking; the noise was the rear tires rubbing on the frame while flexed.

Trying to decide. I got a new jeep but don’t want to let the tires and suspension go to waste by replacing it. Is that a valid reason not to upgrade? Maybe lighting first?
I've had my jeep for about a year and just now looking into upgrades. It's really tempting to go all out right from the start but I enjoyed getting out and wheeling stock, it's made me focus on picking lines and now I know exactly what I need to upgrade for what I want to do
@@JKGearandGadgets thanks for the response. I'll be installing mine today and I'm theorizing I'll be running into some issues too. 1.5" rear stretch, d60 and 5.5" lift. Fingers crossed. Oh and BTW, also a Red JKU! 😜😊
Please, can you tell me if this AntiRock Kit works with Wrangler 2014 JKU with 2.5" ARB OME LIFT kit ? Do you think it is worth it for a low lift 2.5 ?
It will be close, but I have mine on a 3.5" lift and it isn't quite fully shortened. So I would think that a 2.5" lift would be capable of running this antirock
Since this is a jeep community i have a question. So i disconnected my front sway bar disconnects for the first time this weekend and now my alignments off, could that be from me disconnecting the sway bar? I have a jeep xj with a 4.5in rc lift
@@JKGearandGadgets I've been doing some research and cant find anything about my problem. but another question i have is if i adjust my drag link will that adjust my steering wheel and whether my jeep drives straight? because my steering wheel is tilted a couple degrees to the left and the vehicle pulls to the left and if it's a simple fix i dont see any point in taking it to the shop.
Wait so you just installed these, but say “this is the best my Jeep has ever driven.” Then say we’ll do some tests coming up. Also curious, you buy these or are these guys a sponsor and hook you up. I DO appreciate your videos though, good looking jeeps.
I do not have experience with the G2 system, but I do have a front aluminum antirock and I love it. Driving over a really bumpy, cracked paved road is terrifying from how much the jeep likes to jump around and lean side to side but uneven roads and bumps hit at an angle (from the side) are buttery smooth and you barely even notice they're there. The easiest way to imagine the handling characteristics of a vehicle with an antirock is to think of an ice skate and how the shoe can lean side to side with the skate staying in the middle. The only time you notice having an antirock on road is over really bumpy surfaces that cause the body to start to lean various directions and when cornering hard, but its a jeep, how often will you be cornering hard?

So if I am looking at a new jeep, with this setup I don't need to buy the Rubicon...I could buy a less expensive model, right?
The rubicon does have other great features other than the sway bar disconnect. Transfer case and axles are another big plus to the rubicon
What settings do you run for your Falcon Shocks in regards to "daily driving/highway"?
I run on the road with them at 2.6
You should wear a puppet on your hand since its doing most of the explaining... just kidding...
Have a safe trip and I'm looking forward to seeing the videos.
Want know about til light conversion from squer to round style like it I'm sure there's a DYI to installed pls let me know
Trying to decide. I got a new jeep but don’t want to let the tires and suspension go to waste by replacing it. Is that a valid reason not to upgrade? Maybe lighting first?
I've had my jeep for about a year and just now looking into upgrades. It's really tempting to go all out right from the start but I enjoyed getting out and wheeling stock, it's made me focus on picking lines and now I know exactly what I need to upgrade for what I want to do
Curious if you're still running that rear under the frame or if that became a issue?
Still running it under the frame. I’ll switch sometime, but it hasn’t caused any issues
@@JKGearandGadgets thanks for the response. I'll be installing mine today and I'm theorizing I'll be running into some issues too. 1.5" rear stretch, d60 and 5.5" lift. Fingers crossed.
Oh and BTW, also a Red JKU! 😜😊
Who makes that rear bumper??
Great video
No, that is unrelated. You just need to adjust your draglink to center the steering wheel. It might be a good time to upgrade your steering
Andrew Holland yes it’s an easy fix to recently your steering wheel. But you need to make sure you didn’t bend your tie rod
Hit us up in AZ. Would love to check out the rig. Provided you have time.
What did you do with the Swaybar disconnect button inside the jeep? Is there a way to use it as an auxiliary button instead?
It runs to the computer so you can’t really do anything with it
Oh bummer
what do you do with the factory wire connector on the Rubicon?
Tied it out of the way and turned the sway bar off with JScan app
SwayLOC™ is the only true dual rate off-road anti-swaybar for Jeep® Wrangler™
Safe travels
Cool video!
some body may have asked and I am a novice so are fenders plastic?
Yes these are MCE narrow flares. Plastic and flexible, also very lightweight compared to steel
What inner fender are those I have the same shock and looking for something
They are from Hyline Offroad, great product. I have a video of the install
Wait so you just installed these, but say “this is the best my Jeep has ever driven.” Then say we’ll do some tests coming up. Also curious, you buy these or are these guys a sponsor and hook you up. I DO appreciate your videos though, good looking jeeps.
Yeah it was noticeable right away. And no this was not sponsored or an endorsement. Whenever someone does sponsor the channel I say it in the videos
Good to see it was unbiased, you never know these days. Watching your “Long Arm” right now.. 👍
Great bumpers
Would you recommend the currie anti rock over the G2 CORE Dual Rate Sway Bar Systems?
@@spelwurdsrite3422 That is with or without the anitrock right?
Danky that’s with the curry antirock in aluminum.
@@spelwurdsrite3422 Yikes!
