    In the US that guy would have been tackled, tasered and/or maced, beaten and possibly shot. All in all it would have taken 20-30 seconds total. Those police (German I'm assuming) have integrity, plus dignity and respect for human beings from what I could see.

      Northwestern Democratic Despot no you are mistaking them with the Christians/Catholics dear. Look at every churche, molesting young boys, daddy's molesting their daughters and killing them wen mommy finally chooses for their innocent children if she already hasn't left them for her drug addict lover that smacks the hell out of her. So I am so sorry to tell you the fact about raping everything that moves, but that your people's thing to. Killing Americans is something terrorists like doing. But I understand why seeing Bin Laden's name upsets so much, although he is shot and killed.

    In Holland you have the right to resist arrest, the state can't force you to incriminate yourself. That doesn;t mean you can punch or harm police officers, just that you can resist and run if you want to.

    They are dutch, to make it short the guy getting "arrested" is basically saying, I didnt do anything. Then "raak me niet aan" which means, dont touch me. He even at one point said " miss let go of me" and at the end when all four had him he said " tell them to get off of me/let go of me"..
    Need better translation? Just message me?

    Just U.K, Republic of Ireland and Norway don't routinely carry weapons on foot patrol, there are certain places though like airports where they will and Norwegian police keep theirs in their vehicles so they are close by if needed. First time I saw a person carrying a gun was a Spanish security guard when I was 18, I froze for about a 5 sceonds in fear.

    One night I was all drunk and rowdy and was being "restrained" by five bouncer (very poorly, I still moved however I wanted, pulled out my phone, had a chat with my bros) Finally police came. Took three of them to get me to the car. Told me I was going to jail. I said "Fuck that I have to work in the morning you are taking me home" and they took me home. That's my story.

    be allowed to become a policeofficer. The same in Sweden, Finland and Denmark. They don`t want cowboys. I think it`s because most situations in Norway are solved with verbal communication, even drunks and agressive people. Strange, but true. Norway is also a very peaceful country. Allthough, the norwegian police are very well trained ready to use force if nessesary.

    Remember that not all Americans are the same. I was born here and I will try to change it... With help of course. I'm a minority of america in every possible way... I am a red headed atheist who knows that communism/socialism is best for america as of right now. These government types give equality for all and can make a lot of money. Exactly what America needs, but instead of that, our government says prayer is our only hope. We're doomed.

    Once they make the decision to restrain him they need to do it in an effective professional way. The officers here did not. Grabbing at his arms and sprawling on the floor is highly amateurish and potentially dangerous. It looks like the officers were not properly trained and I wonder if the women were even strong enough to be in the force. You either chat and calm or go in decisive. The guy had ample chance to pull out a knife if he had one. Normally I fully support police actions.

    The problem here in the Netherlands is that the police may not draw their weapons for situations like this. It is really lame to see and know that they can not defend theirselves because of the laws around here. Having all this means that most people in the Netherlands don't respect the authority because.. well they can't do much really..

  • @MrGuitarRadio
    @MrGuitarRadio 11 років тому

    The video doesn't show how and why it all started. The black man keeps saying "Don't touch me". It's true that here in the US guns would be drawn already. In the Netherlands the police rather tries to solve the problem without killing a suspect. Of course here in the US anybody could have a gun too. Different culture, much lower crime rate. It has nothing to do with a failure to arrest.

    The diffrences within northerin europe within the tribe of germanic people to which both scandinavians and dutch people belong is very minimal.Even the language is so similar that it is often difficult to know which language they speak if you do not know that particular language.It is impossible to diffrentiate a dutch city from a swedish one, since they are built in the same fashion. Since germanic people also have similar traits too,then I can assume it is very similar in the nehterlands too;)

    It looks like they were trying to use minimal force, but put themselves are great risk doing so. Lost count of how many times he could have stripped the sidearm off of any of them, and then things would've accelerated in a bad way very quickly. Of course it's easy saying so from behind the comfort of a keyboard. Just glad things didn't go horribly.

    But: he acts non-violently, and it's very-unlikely he'd carry a gun, AND that he'd pull it out so late, AND that the 4 police swarming around him wouldn't subdue him immediately & violently if he did, AND that he'd target her, AND that the dad would be unable to cover her with his body if truly ALL which must go wrong, did.
