Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.
*Overall **enjoyable.fishing** recommend I feel the Shadowfire 360 offers excellent value for those who are new to tenkara and don't want to break the bank on their first rod purchase.*
Love the video. Perfect for beginners and so much respect for not telling people to only go out and buy the expensive Korda distance sticks. Lots of honesty there and really love that
I've been looking for a video just like this, really helped me, just starting out carp fishing this has answered questions I really struggled to get answers for !
This video is exactly what there should be more of. I have been carp fishing for 10 years or more but always on my own. These videos are invaluable to learning the basics and will surely now help me to reduce my blank rate. Good Work guys!
Wow what a video just goes to show that getting back into carp fishing after a while being out the game. This is one video I will keep to hand. Great tips can’t wait to put some of this into practice. 👍
Nice one Neil instructional as ever, that smile after the first fish said it all. Respect to korda not forcing the big sell on their items ie the distance sticks most expensive doesnt always mean more fish. One point when AJ had the line damage/twist it would have bee far easier for him to have slid the tubing etc up the line without re-threading again, too much of a pain that.
Peterborough mate across the road from the amazon building . Have a look on the embryo website . I think they called this one the pump hole or something like that . Used to do a bit of floater fishing in my lunch break in there .
Once again you guys have exceeded yourself all your mini films, info blog, V-Logs, thanks from a carp angler from the 80's still learning Darrell, Spooner, The Dove, and the Governor Danny. look forward to seeing some of you at one of the carp shows this year.
Great video, looking to start Carp Fishing again after illness, so very helpful. Question though, my mobility is poor and there is no way I can walk a lake, in your opinion what would be the best way to choose a swim/location ? Cheers 👍
It' would be nice to see a bit of instruction on angling etiquette in these "advertorial" videos. As someone that runs a small carp fishing syndicate I meet far too many youngsters (>30 years old) with a selfish attitude to their fishing. Perhaps a bit more emphasis on having a quick chat with the anglers already on the lake before choosing a swim etc.
Ben Dyson I thought the closing comments of "take only memories, leave only foot prints, and kill only time" where perfect sentiment to good etiquette at a fishing lake. I personally don't want to spend my time fishing talking to other people on the lake, as much as this could improve my knowledge of the lake, I would rather learn myself and to be honest, I go fishing to relax and get away from people lol. Korda always lean heavily on fish care too which is something I don't see elsewhere
Most of what Neil comes out with is just common sense, I don’t really think AJ needs talking to like a little boy considering the amount of carp fishing he’s in the past. Go your own way AJ.
The best video have seen now back to fishing after twenty years spot on spooner thank you

Beautiful spooner, very professional. Ejoyed every second of it.👍
Great educational video spoons👌👍
Great piece the film. I particularly like how you wasn't pushing the top end gear "most expensive" and can fish on a budget 👍👍
£20 mainline is not expensive no? £100 each reel.
initman01 no
initman01 any decent mainline will cost u between £15-£20

Superb video enjoyed every minute and what a great advice brilliant 👍🏻
Great video and at least AJ has learnt early on how to hold fish. I see so many anglers who have fished for years still don’t know how to hold em!
I'm sure this video will help a lot of people , myself included .
Great video and nice to see a company saying that you don't have to buy their gear and giving cheaper alternative options. Thanks.
excellent as all ways !!
Nice one Neil.... great video 👍

Drag the mrs along and get her to walk round 😂.
Seriously though - fish a lake with good access or buy a drone to fly round 👍🏻

Can you use a ronnie rig with this setup ?
