  • Korda Carp fishing experts Neil Spooner (Monster Carp) and Rob Burgess (Korda Koach) head to Gigantica Road Lake for a week-long holiday-style fishing trip. With any holiday fishing trip, someone has to come first and someone has to come last in the draw... but no matter the outcome, the pair show you how to get the most of out your swim from feature finding, bait application and the rig to present over the top.
Expect big carp and a great week away - jam packed with loads of hints, tips and edges including how-to guides for Basix Rigs and Solid Bag Rigs.
No matter whether you are a seasoned angler abroad or someone who has booked their first trip away, there will be something for everyone to enjoy and come away with... to help catch more carp.

The tips are all based on spending money.
Pay to come to our lake to be told where to fish
Buy loads of bait, buy loads of extra tackle
Very little information besides what to spend money on.
I watch some old boys who are catching plenty with a faction of this stuff and second hand gear.
Also pulling it of in rivers where the fish aren't essentially obese and trapped
I'm starting to wonder if the business side of the past time is kinda ruining the skill aspect...

Great vid lads,,,, and rob,,, well said about fish care etc,,,especially the bit on watches etc,,,,,, I mentioned this on the last bcac video from Broadland and had my comments on poor fish care,,(that focused on watches especially)removed by bcac,,,,,embarrassing for the anglers in the edit as they looked like the didn’t give a fuck about someones stock,,,and for whoever did the editing and left it in the official edit,, but also the person who removed the comments,,lot of “ actors” out their pretending they care more about fish than “ insta”
    but we’ll done on highlighting a obvious “skill” that don’t cost any money,,,🙌🏼 ,,,, great vid,,rant over,,😎

very nice rods but way out of my pay bracket
But also to hit them distances you need the reels to go with them lol

    • @Spoons-iy3zp

    • @theevilhaslanded1498
      @theevilhaslanded1498 Рік тому

Your correct my friend,,,Loads of ways to retain the lead,, I did notice rob didn’t drop the small lead he was using much as it would not really effect the playing of a fish in what looked like a snag free,, weedlesdd environment 👍,,
Again the lead dropping is for certain angling situations!!!,,,and not for ““trends”,,,, unfortunately the media made it look essential,,,,,
But now it’s coming back around to being used only when nesesary,,👍🙈

That business of lifting the fish out of the water in the sling causes more problems than it solves in my opinion. Once on the mat you have to remove the landing net and the fish to zero the sling which Rob obviously does. How does that improve fish safety …..increasing the handling of the fish. It’s still removed from the water in the landing net like it always has been and now has to suffer more handling. Another rule for rules sake. If the fish is rolled up in the landing net and all fins are flat what’s the difference if it’s in the sling ???? Korda are changing the rules as they go along. I remember when they were extolling the virtues of the “ off-the-ground” framed cradles which they have now banned on Embryo waters….Why ??
They were good enough before so what’s changed . Don’t get me wrong I am not a Korda hater, quite the opposite in fact. I have great respect for what Danny Fairbrass has done for carp fishing but this unnecessary changing of rules for no obvious gain is getting to be annoying. Sensible comments welcomed.

Cant help but notice that kordas videos are becoming less exciting and more like an advert for their gear.

The masterclass series has always been instructional based, showcasing each and every item that we use. Sorry you didn’t enjoy it but there are lots of new anglers out there and if we didn’t cover the items in the detail that we do, then we would be inundated with questions enquiring about each part. Thanks for the feedback though mate 👍
