9,518 original miles! Garage Find! 1968 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport convertible, 327, Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission, new Dual Exhaust, 12 bolt rear differential, brand new tires, new powdercoated 15x7 Rallys, new SS trim rings and center caps, power top, power steering, Tilt wheel, remote driver side mirror, rare fiber optic system, bucket seats with console interior is original, original spare tire jack and lug wrench, four original bias ply Firestone Champion Tires included. Car was purchased new in December of 1967 according to the cowl tag, car was built third week of November 1967, 11 D on Cowl tag represents November 3rd week 1967, see pic. This car comes with all original paperwork, owner's manual warranty booklet protecto plate convertible top guide some receipts, original owners first insurance card, insurance policy from State Farm as well. Chevrolet new vehicle checklist included as well. Car runs and drives like it's absolutely brand new I would think nothing of driving this car cross country tomorrow. Original top with glass rear window is in excellent condition showing minimal wear from normal use, convertible top boot is included has seen in pics. One refinish back in the '90s, all original chrome and trim, as well as lenses emblems Etc. A survivor in every sense of the word, these cars are still out there tucked away waiting to be found. The background story on this car was it was purchase new by the original owner and used as a third or fourth car, garaged from day one, never saw any foul weather or rain spent most of its time in the garage at the original owners lake house, then the car was sold mid to late 90s to the second owner who we acquired it from. I 'm 72 today got my dad's 68 chevy caprice never seen winter 70,000 miles 327 4 barrel 275 horses sand brown buckets console 400 trany tilt Landau roof vinyl 2 door skirts bumper guards chrome all original purrs like a kitten impeccable vinyl interior rugs lots of chrome back then paid $4,400.00 tax in evaluation today $23,400.00 all highway Sunday my old man would turn around if it looked like rain & yaaaaa!!! I do the same last I heard only 2 on the road in ontario canada happy motoring see ya laterrrrrr!!!!
I have a 68’ Impala convertible. I bought it in 85’ sat from 91’-17’. Restored it. It has original power steering, power seats, windows, a/c with tilt.
It prob cost me about $30k to restore. I would of loved to buy and add this to my collection, too late.

You might want to do some research before you open your mouth and make a claim about something you have no idea about what your talking about. 1967 was the final year for the center speaker in full size Chevrolet's, now I'll add to that the rear speaker wasn't standard on SS or any others it was optional on all full size Cars, however the grill was present on all full size cars 58-67 but did not automatically come with the rear speaker option.
