Ahha thanks! I noticed that if I didn’t use the square they would get packaged all funky. And it wasn’t fitting nicely in my box. Took a significant amount of space after you piled a couple of them together.
@@Tektcglove the video. Thanks for the guide. Have you heard of a 123 block? That has a great square face but won’t potentially leave an indent/damage the edge from the square.
Super cool content keep up with the great work and keep pushing through the UA-cam grind and I really enjoy the love and support form the UA-cam community
Yes, I noticed a mistake after I was doing a double-check later on! Thanks for pointing it out though 🙂 it would have sucked if I got the wrong one when I go to sell it LOL
There's a lot of apps that can do this! Rare candy, collector. They're all slightly different, but I believe they use the same software to scan cards which look at the artwork
@Tektcg ok, I'm level 4. How do I add it? I got it to the manage list area. Just looking for the next step after that. Is there somewhere it says "add to inventory"?
Do you have a link to the phone mount you use? I've been trying to find a good phone mount for my own setup. Also... Why do you wear gloves while doing this?
So a couple of things! I wear gloves because in the stamp, collecting world skin oils are very bad, so even though the cards are designed to be handled and have a coding and what not I think it doesn’t really hurt. There is the detriment of not having as much feel so you could damage the cards, but I’m been doing this for very many years. I’m not perfect but it just gives me that extra bit of protection. Also, the phone mount is great! I’m not sure if you’re talking about the arm or the mounted itself. I’ll link then in the description!
@Tektcg okay I was wondering about the gloves. It look like you are dealing with just bulk cards, so nothing high-end. I normally always wash my hands before doing any kind of inventory or sorting, but I know the oils in your hands will start to accumulate over time. I suppose both the arm and phone mount. I realize that other than my phone, I don't really have anything help create UA-cam videos. I know I need at least a phone amount with either an arm or a tripod and some lighting.
Yeah, it's just both cards. But in general I wear gloves. Also the cards tend to cut my hands if I handle them all day. So the glove provides a little bit of abrasion resistance. And you never know when some bulk cards can go up in value significantly. If I have a thousand bowl cards and one of them's all the sudden worth a hundred bucks and makes it worth it
I’m letting them age like fine wine. I could sell them all right now however I would get like nothing. But if I wait several years, there’s a chance that some of those cards can go up in value significantly. Since I’m not exactly concerned with space, I am packaging them and putting them in a client of controlled space for a long time
Yeah, so basically it doesn't actually use motion. It uses pixel shift. So whenever there's a difference in pixels it will trigger a scan. And if all the parameters are right it'll successfully scam. That's why you see me wagging my hand over it, changing the light and stuff like that. Whenever there's a double scan, you simply have to just remove it. To prevent a double scan, all you got to do is make sure the card is absolutely still. If it's in motion or if anything is moving, it'll think it's another card and scan it again
Sorted immediately after opening! I got myself a sorting tray and it helped a lot. Definitely don’t wait. My maximum is filling up of one ETB before I sort everything. And you’re welcome! I hope it was helpful! Let me know if you have any questions :-)
hahahaha I thought you said "I like everything straight when Im doing it... Unlike me" was hilarious!!!
Hehe 😂 I'm the least masculine hard-working non-binary Republican Democratic person you'll ever meet hahah 🤣🥰
Bruh. When you pulled out the square. I thought I was wild when it came to sorting 😂😂😂😂 that had me rollin ! Great vid, can’t wait to see more.

I use that slide swipe too😊 it’s a time saver ❤
That's awesome! I knew I wasn't the only one! It's great! It's like doing 3 things at once!
It is very useful!! I have been used tcg app but didn't know how the scan works. Thanks
You're welcome! I'm glad that it was helpful! It makes it a lot faster and a lot easier 🙂
what?? i had no idea tcgplayer could do that, you look like a cashier lol, very nice!!
Right?!
Wowwww this is soo smart and so fast!!! Thank you!!
I'm glad it helped out! Let me know if you run into any issues!
This is the kind of sorting cards videos i love to find in my feed, great video and great tips!
I’m glad you appreciated it! It was something I developed over 10 years of collecting ha ha ha ha
Thank you for the video, info on the phone stands with the extension please
Sure I'll put it in the description!
5:25 and 6:20 you chose the wrong Technical machine to set aside btw you choose the blindside tm instead of the correct Tm Evolution btw

thank you very useful content!
Glad it was helpful!
Can Rare Candy do this too or just that app?

Good video
Thanks! I'm glad you like it!
awesome video i love it
I'm glad you like it
Do you use the TCG player app? 😢
Yes I do!
You cant scan and import directly to your inventory correct?
Yes, you can. However, you have to be a level four seller in order to do that.
@Tektcg ok, I'm level 4. How do I add it? I got it to the manage list area. Just looking for the next step after that. Is there somewhere it says "add to inventory"?
@Tektcg I think I have figured it out. Much appreciated
Awesome buddy! I'm glad that it worked out!

Why not just keep them in 5ks?
What is a 5ks?
Are you selling these packs of 200 ? , I been wanting to organize my bulk

@@Tektcgthe uncommons never go up in value tho ?
They do gradually a tiny bit at a time. For example, look at base Pokémon or from the 2010. Depending on what it is. Especially the evolutions!

Now if only this existed for European users as well. MTG has it with apps like Manabox for example.
Does it not work in Europe? I thought it was not by location?
Price charting does the same
A lot of apps do the same thing. I just happened to use TCG players since if you’re level four seller, you can directly import.
I needed this badly. Thank you. but now thanks to you I have to sort through two garages full of bulk!🥲😭😭
