It was kind of meme of you to put me through this video. There were several moments when I couldn't help but laugh. Though, I am still wondering about the meme-ing of it all.
When I was a kid, I thought that Bach's chorale was the 25 acre fenced field, up the toad and around the bend, where the Bach family kept their Percherons. Those were beautiful horses.
The version using only the note "C" makes me think of the Percy Grainger piece "The Immovable Do." You may know the story (possibly apocryphal) that he was playing a harmonium concert (as he was wont to do) and an upper "C" stuck, so he improvised this whole piece around that note.
Definitely need your version of the Bach chorale (but a cappella).
AND the Bach chorale version did the chord analysis as well! Extra credit.
Beethoven would say he is glad he is stone deaf.
