I think the ice crackle on this one is far better , more defined and no ring like on the other one your crackle went right up to your clear in the centre ! I watch you for hours as I’m trying to learn and I love the way you teach , you are easy to listen to and have a sense of humour , I love when you chat along with us , it’s so much fun ! I can imagine sitting with a cup of coffee and chatting about everything for hours with you , makes me feel like you are a friend as well as my tutor ! ❤❤❤❤

Yes the crackles do look more defined. I do like the colors. And wow did that resin move, even if it did flash cure some. I love the sticker you put in the middle too. ✌️❤️🤣 peace, love and happiness

This is AMAZING. To separate the sticker put tape on both size and pull both tape at the same time and it comes apart. ❤❤❤. I prefer the sticker instead of glitter in the middle.

Enjoyed the time lapse. Really like both sides of the finished outcome, Looks like a flower turned slightly at an angle instead of straight on. It's great without stickers!! But then you find great stickers too. Gold outlining was a perfect touch.❤ Also ... I love how you say Mauve. Really, Old English is my favorite; I'm weird what can I say.... I agree with Henry Higgins in Pygmalion/My fair lady... Language(s) is an art... But it's us Americans that butcher it. Lol😂

That's stunning Julie! I like that so much better than the one made with the Ultra Clear. The colors are so vivid and the crackle is much more eye catching. I think you worry to much about the center. I would have left that alone because it looked so much like a geo.
In the end, with the embellishments, I think it ended up very beautiful ❤️ The cracked ice effect came out more realistic, in my unprofessional opinion, I am the one learning here after all and I haven't done a single piece of anything yet for lack of means🤷🏼♀️ Carry on ❤ I have no doubt that you will achieve a result that will satisfy you completely ❤ until then you will surely keep on dazzling us with these lovely pieces ❤❤❤ Congratulations 👏🏼

if you turn the bleeding crushed stone into premade center disks, the cured resin ought to lock in the color I imagine. So you wouldn't have to throw them away... they look like pretty stones. :3
It is very pretty. You did save it. I really like the crystals on the edge. Is there a product that you could apply to the edge, like glitter, a very fine glitter that would make the crystal edge sparkle more? Or maybe an iridescent type of a fine glitter? I don' t know. Oh, I know, do you have an iridescent mica powder, or aurora borealise.?🤔🙂

Julie, can you add pigment to the white pusher? From my point of view, I wouldn't add a lot of pigment. Enough for a slight color change or an interference mica if it doesn't cause the white pigment to fail.
I really like the open center. It looks like ice on a pond that hasn’t quite frozen over, or, god forbid, someone, some animal may have fallen through the ice. So, I am working to convince my mind that it isn’t completely frozen and everyone and every animal is safe! In a situation like this where the item you chose in advance for your center doesn’t work, I was wondering if just making a swirl in the center using your stick, or toothpick, when the white resin got close, so a small amount could be pulled into the center, would make a difference to the results? Drawing to the center 5 or 6 small white lines, and then swirling them. Do you think that would help with the being off-center issue?
You didn't do it, Julie, it just migrated on it's own. Watch the time-lapse, it was actually kind of weird watching the center migrate towards the top all on it's own. That one has very interesting crackles, now if you could figure out how to keep the center from being blank...anyway, keep it up, you're learning more each time! And praying for you not to get sick! Give the puppers a hug from us, eh? ❣
See I thought it looked totally fine before the sticker and the gold... I like to imagine them actually being used, say as a table centerpiece with a vase of flowers on top, you wouldn't even see the smudge in the middle.
Dust the center with a chameleon color. It won't interfere with the resin but it will stop the transparency. If the white is more transparent it should move easier and be less white.
Not a big fan of these. I prefer your cascades with more petal-looking petals, lol. I do like it better with the sticker and gold edge. So much better! Yep, you saved it. xoxoxooxxoox

I prefer it without anything in the centre. I think it detracts from the beauty. The centre looks like a window into another universe.
