Do you have a pop up checklist? I feel like that would help you remember to bring the key items that go to every pop up. At work I kept forgetting simple steps for a process I was doing all the time. It was easy to overlook because the steps were simple. So I made myself a checklist that forced me to slow down and make sure I was following my process, which led to fewer mistakes.

Markets can be so rewarding and so frustrating all at the same time.

Thank you so much for being humble and sharing your experience with us! You Are MVP for filming the whole process, while you're also on the clock selling your products!!! Sending virtual hugs (n___n) Keep it up!

It’s nice to watch content like this. Some events are frustrating, and I’m reassured by seeing seasoned vendors having the same feelings/experiences.

Love the real and raw information you give us on these pop ups! So far I've only done 4 total and I get SO nervous each time 😅

I have an idea for hanging your mirror. Buy a wooden ladder, designed for home decor. Screw hooks at the top of the ladder, to hang from your tent frame. Make sure the legs touch the ground for support. Remove the runners where the mirror will take up real estate. Then hang your sand bags on the bottom runner - as long as you believe the frame can handle the weight without warping.
Use the ladder for hanging stuff, like maybe your stickers, so you can gain the real estate on the table. Maybe you could mount your spinning wheel on the back of the mirror too. So the stablising solution for your mirror, can give you more space for a new range of products on your horizontal spaces.
To keep your scrunchies falling off the peg board, nail a small biscuit of wood at the end. To make a hook. The scrunchies can still be lifted off, over the hook, but not blown off as easily by the wind.

Some shows are like that. It is very frustrating. It would be nice if pop up shows and craft shows where a bit more organized. Some vendors are not very considerate when it comes to other vendors. It is nice when you have those customers come in your booth admiring your merchandise makes it all worth while. I have been doing it for many years. I love it.

I had this happen to me at aa couple of pop ups. My solution is to only do indoor pop ups until the spring. Also for the hanging items you can put a rubber band on the end of the hooks to keep your items on the hanging rack (though this makes it a bit harder for customers to remove the items but at least you're not chasing your stuff all over for the duration of the event).
Maybe try clear acrylic boxes to put your stickers in to place out on the table so they don't blow away?
But also, thank you for this transparency. I'm at a point in my business where I'm ready to give up but it's nice to remember every business owner has their own set of unique issues that come with running a business. Great video!

As someone who does pop-ups as well, wind is literally my worst enemy lolll but I did have the weights that you are thinking of getting and I had issues with them sliding off the legs when the wind was rough so just watch out for that!

Wind is such a problem for light weight items. I’ve been there. Indoor markets make it so much easier. Glad you did make some sales. Maybe a check list for your items that you need to set up would help.

Omg my very first pop up I forgot the cover for my tent and it was a super windy day. Luckily we lived close by and I actually bought weights for my tent. Setting up took me longer cause I had to tape down all by products. Definitely didn’t plan for that! I was calm on the outside but was freaking out on the inside. But when the market started I calmed down a bit and had an overall great experience! ❤❤

Question.. if you would have put on your side and back tent panels, wouldn't it have stabilized the tent.
Also, why dont you keep the mandatory things ( scrunchie peg board & vl display ) packed inside the long vertical ledge bags.

At least you're not the only one whose canopy top was left off the frame. It means that other people were also smart enough to save their investment. And the frame itself creates the feeling of being in a space so-to-speak. I think you did better than I would have. I would have cried. LOL

Heavy duty velcro on the back of the panel to hold it against the frame of the checkout station.

The wind aspect of this market sounds like the one I did two weeks ago. After having a fall festival get cancelled twice because of rain, I grew frustrated and asked my local farmer's market for space to set up. I had already paid for my spot tiny spot in their artisan barn, so I didn't have to pay any more for my full table. But once I set up the wind was the worst! I ended up taking down most of my displays, but I still did well. I'm definitely going to be doing tables there next market season.

Did you know, text can be any color you want, but if you outline it in black, it can be seen on any color background? Love your videos, keep up the good vibes, there be days like this.

Maybe add little Velcro stickers to the bottom portion of your kiosk panel to the frame to keep it from flapping in the wind? I love command Velcro! I love your videos so much and have learned so much from you during my first year doing markets!

Make a standard list for every pop up you do .. on your phone !!! You will never forget anything. Put all in the list .. and at the current event you can decide weather you bring with or not. But you know its initially there in the list to begin with. 🤭🤩😍❤️
