Thanks for your video again take care bye from milton Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Been watching you for a few months in anticipation of my move to Phnom Penh a few weeks ago. Just noticed how close you are to me. I'm just on the next lane at Baramii Apartments on st 352 HAHA!
@@itchyfeetonthecheap yea it’s alright but not ideal. Me and my wife came with our dog so we needed some place with plants or grass for him to poop. Baramii has some vegetation below but no facilities.
Thanks for sharing your video again i see a lot of rain in Cambodia but in Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 is no rain very hot and humid will see the kids go back to school next week how the weather goes enjoy your time in my beautiful Cambodia take care bye from milton Ontario Canada
Just moved to Phnom Penh from the U.S and this is wild to see! Where we used to live we made far less each month then we do now and lived in an apartment like the one in this video for over twice the expense. There were four of us living there to even afford it. Living expenses here are so much more manageable, even "expensive" places like this! 👀 Looks really nice btw, hope you guys enjoy it!
Yes. A lot of people are saying how expensive it is, and it is expensive for Cambodia, but a similar place in the nicest area of any western capital would be far more.
Wow. Great tour. Price was enlightening. Not sure how I feel about the water, could be largely aesthetics (but let's face it, pretty much all U.S. households filter their water).
Looks like a nice apartment but BKK1 is the nicest location in PP and not cheap. We checked a few apartments around Aeon1 Mall and they are about the same price. Russian Market area is much cheaper but not the best place. We're coming over in a few months Happy early fall from Minnesota!
Yes, you can save a lot of money or have a much bigger place if you just cross one of the major roads and leave Bkk1. For the same price it's possible to get a 2 bedroom in the Russian market.
Ryan you should check out "Mystery Cambodia" current apartment. He just moved into a brand new luxury apartment that they just built for $450/month. I think that one has a gym and pool as well.
700 USD, you can rent a nice place in Bangkok and nearby the most convenient metro transportation system in SEA (railways system as metro or sky train). You will also get free WIFI and easily to access convenient stores and pharmacies that you can easily finds them in every corner of Bangkok.
Bangkok apartments are much cheaper generally. But you have to keep in mind that apartment is in one of the very best locations in the city. An apartment in Bangkok's most expensive neighborhood would actually cost more.
Apartments aren't exactly cheap here, but it is possible to find really cheap places - $200/month - but probably not in bkk1, and definitely not with a pool and gym, 24 hour security, internet, cable, garbage collection, and 2 times a week cleaning.
Thanks Ryan.... Nice Infovart.... What are the minimum lease periods usually.... We want to do a few 3 month stays around SE Asia over the next few years.... Are 3 month leases easy enough to get?
I keep bottles of spare jizz lying around too. Never know when you'll need one. Never even occurred to me take it to the gym. Joking. I never go to the gym.
$100. You can find cheaper ones. Appliance and electronics stores all along here that have various sizes and probably offer the most competitive prices. maps.app.goo.gl/JPUo1AcXu5SuF34e6
It surprised me how expensive it was here, but when you take into consideration that you're living in the most expensive neighborhood in the country, it doesn't seem that bad.
Wow people are complaining about $750 being too expensive, I live in CA and I was paying $1800 for 1 BEDROOM, now it's $2500 for 2 BEDROOM. I hear ya, BKK is a prime location in Phnom Penh hence more expensive to live there. A couple years ago I was paying $600/monthly 1 BEDROOM at Bodaiju in PP, one of the best apartments I've stayed at... Unfortunately WFM doesn't allow me to live overseas anymore otherwise I would be back in ASIA.
I guess my standards are not too high. I don't need or want a modern apartment. I had a large apartment two blocks from the river for $140 a month. I'm thinking of moving back to Phnom Penh this coming summer.
@@itchyfeetonthecheap yes, well.... I pay about $300, have 2 large pools, of course also a gym... it's just Thailand, nonetheless they always claim Cambodia would be cheaper...😆😆😆
Enjoyed the walk through, I could easily live there as it has everything a person needs. I look forward to seeing the upgrades.
Good luck on the next place.hope is bigger and it suits you both.

That looks like a nice building. Do you like it?

Green spaces are harder to find than leprechauns in Phnom Penh.
Nice touch on the faucet filter!! Definitely going to buy one!
Hi Thanks for the review,we are currently living in sen sok for half the price and loving our area
Much better deals in Sen Sok. And you have your big box type stores there. People like it, but it feels so far away from the rest of the city.

Great video thanks. The google doc for the faucet filter isn’t loading. What shop did you get that at?
looks good. thanks for the tour
Where did you get your water filters? We’d like to get a few for our place here in TK. Thanks!

I saw it. Nice place, good deal. Location is decent too.
Sara's awesome!
She's OK, but Ryan is definitely the coolest person in that relationship.
I hope Ryan get a job to help her. LOL
A price to pay for the safety and the accessibility to many need you wanted. I would say it worth the money since you don't know around the city.
Yes, very convenient for a person who doesn't know the city and is getting used to living in Cambodia.
$750 a month??? THAT IS EXPENSIVE!!!!
Also, the dirt indicator on the shower head.
the google link is broken, could you link me to the shower filter?
Where do get the swivel with dirt indicator on the kitchen sink washer?

When you talk about price or costs, do you refer to USD or is that another currency??
Yes, USD. In Cambodia they use USD as their second currency.
Nice place
The Skyline 2 bedders 75 sqm is nicer and very near BKK 1
I'm also curious about your camera, as that little girl was. I couldn't see it in the mirror, so I'm assuming it's some kind of 360 camera. 😊
Dji pocket 2. Look it up. It's great.

$750 seems expensive....you could get that apt for almost half that in Bangkok
Bangkok apartments are much cheaper generally. But you have to keep in mind that apartment is in one of the very best locations in the city. An apartment in Bangkok's most expensive neighborhood would actually cost more.
yeah I live in BKK and you are wrong
Thanks.
$750 per month....really? I thought it'd be a lot cheaper than that.

Yeah, some buildings won't do it, but many will. If you don't need much space you can get a really nice Japanese style apartment with many amenities.
nice!
Pee's and Poo's in Phnom Pehn ! YAY !!
I keep bottles of spare jizz lying around too. Never know when you'll need one. Never even occurred to me take it to the gym. Joking. I never go to the gym.
😳😲😂
Do you remember how much the oven was roughly ?
$100.

It’s 75sqm? Not a mistake?
That's what the listing said.
Whose the instigator for needing a “candy counter”???
Sara. She said since I'm home all the time I have more temptation. She was right.
Thats crazy expensive..

It's nice but $750 seems steep.
8:11 good bye hair grips!
My toxic trait is i would drink the water
Cambodia is so cheap .?! That’s pretty much the rent per week in normal shitty area in western
