Wtf is going on with bmw design team
They have design unlike Audi and Mercedes who use copy/paste. Is it great? No. Will people notice it and buy it. Hell yeah.
@damirbajic4579 ugly is ugly though. The XM is as gaudy as it is ostentatious. Mercedes design is more refined and thoughtful. Except for the rear tail lights on the e class

@denziiey Dude, EVERY Mercedes from A to S looks the same but larger. That is not a design but a lack of one. At least with BMW, you know what ugly car you have, and they still drive the best. And as past has shown; BMW ages best.
Maybe it is the same case with the 4 series. At first you don‘t like it but you see it on the street you can feel more the new design

@@dman2289 yeah. Military sales overseas have a program for us stationed here. The local dealership, Euler BMW does 10% plus an additional $3k on their remaining X3 M40i models due to the new one coming out.

Angel eyes are no longer a thing. BMW said, that they are going away from angel eyes, because a lot of other brands started to use simmiliar design. Thats why now we see "stripes" etc in the lights. P.S. I can't say that i like the idea, but i understand the mind behind that.

I can’t believe BMW is proud of that interior. Never thought I would say a BMW interior looked cheap… There is a difference between incorporating cutting edge technology into a vehicle and taking advantage of these advancements to charge more for less. It’s all about the touch points, the knobs, the buttons, the veneers, the metal accents that truly make you feel that you bought something special. I don’t see how this is any different from Kia.

I've owned all three previous generations and enjoyed the evolution through to the G01, where they finally got it perfect, especially with the M40i & X3M. That said, my 15 years long X3 journey is over. BMW, you've lost the plot >> 1:24
The bmw x3m is a gem, truely one of the best suv cars ever to drive with performance that rivals a urus (11.6 1/4 mile)

in greece we have a old saying: '' kathe perisi ke kalitera'', which freely translates to ''every last year, the better'' as an irory, opposing to the saying ''the best are yet to come''. I think is perfectly sums up bmw design language the last few years.
Αστα να πανε φιλαρακι. 1 χρονο περιμενα την αποκαλυψη για να αναβαθμιστουμε απο αυτη την φοβερη εταιρεια με τις τοσες θρυλικες αμαξαρες, και τελικα θα παω στο GLC. Τι απαραδεκτος κουβας εμφανισιακα εξωτερικα, και τι παιδικο εσωτερικο γεματο μπλιπλικια και κοκκινα φωτακια.

I don't hate it. In fact I really like the front end. Maybe the headlights could've been different but overall, I like it. The diagonal lines on the grille are just not necessary
I'm Pretty sure that the headlights are important to the design language. Even spacing is important. Squishing them together unevenly was a terrible decision.

Eh, doesn't look good, doesn't look bad but it looks like a natural evolution in the way in which BMW design as a whole is going.
Has an appliance-esque feel to it. Max is as enthusiastic as a microwave plastic cookware seller from the '70s. I'm sure its a great product overall and they'll sell a bazillion of them so... money talks...

Need to see in person before making my verdict. My lease is up on my 2022 X3 M40i and I’m not sure how to go. If I don’t like the look, decision: Buy/lease a 2024 fully loaded X3 M40, buy an X2 M35i since I’m thinking smaller car, or cross shop (2024 Macan). Or go the sedan route and get an RS3. Or coupe - M240 i Xdrive and get a used Subie for outdoor activities that I don’t care about messing up with dirty dogs and gear.
