Wow...this is way better than I thought it would be clicking on it out of curiosity. They did Glenn and Jimmy proud. It was authentic and heart felt and not a lark. Axl's voice was unreal.
This was the first show in the Moda Center since the pandemic started. I was ecstatic and looked up the set list before the show. I saw Glen Campbell do this on his second to last show ever.
I always wondered when artists do a Las Vegas residency ever since I watched the movie Jersey Boys about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons does that mean the artist owes money to the Mob and that's their way of paying back?
I totally agree. I saw Glen Campbell play it on his final tour. Such a classic. I had to capture it. I saw it was on the set list from the previous night’s show.
Axel Rose would make a great President . Seriously in comparison to Trump and Biden -he would be a thousand ti,es. Ore competent than either of the two clowns Trump And Biden. 😊
C'mon, while I appreciate them doing this it is not better than the original. That's a ridiculous statement. And as far as a guitar player Slash is a very good rock guitarist. Glenn Campbell played all styles and with a ton of the biggest names in the business. It's good to be a fan but don't just drink the Kool Aid.
There are of course dozens of truly gifted musicians spanning the decades. What makes Glen Campbell unique, is that his pitch-perfect vocals matched his fretboard skills. But also, if you listen to his 'live' work here on UA-cam; (where there's numerous versions of the same song and where there's a bit of a guitar break)....you'll hear that guitar break played differently each time! Such was his talent, that he could (and did) improvise on the spot! Interestingly, it is BECAUSE he didn't read music, that this improvisional quality pervades his work i.e. he is not restrained by some notation on a page but instead was free to create fantastic guitar breaks and fills and this is the precise reason he was in constant studio demand, by the biggest fellow recording artists. Even with Alzheimer's, he appeared latterly on Jools Holland with a sublime version of W.Lineman....think he was 70 at this point....it will blow your mind! Rest in sweet musical peace Glen.

Axl’s voice is ethereal!
I JUST saw this on their set list and had to look it up! Amazing!!! MUCH better than I could have imagined.
Axls vocals are so on point here 😍
The boy can sing!
He sounds good here
Got to see him sing this in person a couple days ago. It was one of the highlights of a totally awesome show. Beautiful vocals and guitars!!
It was a highlight for me because I saw Glen Campbell play it on one of his final shows.
That line will never NOT give me chills (you know the one), it doesn’t matter who sings it.
All that being said, what a great cover
Great cover of the Classic... What a talent Glen was.. truly gifted..
You should hear about Jimmy Webb. Lol
Omg this is beautiful. People are complaining about him singing this song. Axl I love it.
This is simply awesome
You guys rocked this song ! I’m glad I got to see it live. Thanks for the memories.

I loved it and what a pleasant surprise when they started playing it!!!
And especially love Slash’s flamenco addl’
I was floored when I was watching it. Just saw Glen perform it a few years before at one of his final shows.
Me in the beginning: Wrong song for this band, they will ruin this for me.
Me listening: HOLY SHITBALLS AXL’s MATURE VOICE IS ON POINT.
Fantastic version of a classic
I've never heard Axl Rose sound that good before i knee he was good but this was outstanding such a tribute to GC
I heard Glen play it in his 2nd to last show ever.
Good singing Axl and great song.

Same story as when I heard your version of "Since I don't have you" Chills, chills and more chills. Bloody perfect!
Great guitar players all know Glen Campbell. Great songwriters all know Jimmy Webb.
What wow axl singing country.
Slash was bringing that vintage sound though.
Love Axls voice...
Absolutely love it xx
very credible job. didn't expect axle to cover gc.
Axel Rose for President
LV Residency for Axl singing Jimmy Webb and other standards-- beautiful version!

Most people nowadays don't know that song. Sad.

Cool
Now let's here them cover Galveston.
A Glen Campbell tribute album sounds like a great idea.
Get Axl to Vegas for a stay.
Okay I'll put a word in
Get Axl to Manchester England for a month he can stay at my house x
Awesome. Its like axl has had some signing lessons 😅
Axel Rose would make a great President . Seriously in comparison to Trump and Biden -he would be a thousand ti,es. Ore competent than either of the two clowns Trump And Biden. 😊
Axl is no Glen Campbell. He should have left this song alone. Good grief man tune it up, there's people out there.
I thought it was great. I’ve seen both of them sing it live.
BETTER THAN GLEN!!!!
Nope
He's off key...leave it to the one and only G.C.
Good on them for covering this Glen Campbell deserves respect from all genres of music He was a great singer and guitarist
