Glad to see you back mela! i have the same relationship with my parents. my mom and dad weren't there for me emotionally growing up even though they were financially and physically but now all of sudden in my adulthood they want to be close to me emotionally with out acknowledging all the ways they invalidated my personhood. my mom especially. Ive been to therapy over it and i've come to the conclusion that it's not on me to fix our relationship, it's theirs. we talk from time to time but i keep it very surface level. if they want to know more about me as a person they have to take accountability and respect me as my own person outside of them. hope you continue to feel better!

Heyyy Mela if you get your prescription via the NHS you can get your medication for free if you apply for a medical exemption certificate. “Most”people on thyroid medication can get this for free. You can speak to your GP to see if you’re exempt. Just thought you should know and glad you’re back!
Yes! I forgot to mention in the video that after my breakdown she then mentioned that I could get it for free because of the kind medication as you’ve said 😭 thank you so much for that though and reminding me 🫶🏿😭
