- This week we take you out to Fort Wordon state park for a campground review. Fort Worden state park has 2 campground and in this video we will be reviewing the upper campground sites 51-80 which are up at the top of the state park giving a little break from the wind and activity the lower campground has.
The upper campground seems to be a bit more private and secluded away from the lower campground. This campground has access to the upper end of the state park and the walking trails around the upper battieries. There are 2 levels of sites in this campground with the upper sites having some double camp sites. As we traveled down to the lower end of the sites of this campground we were greeted by some deer having a bit of a snack during the mid day. This campground has a fair amount of deer and wildlife moving around and make for some great memories while at this amazing state park. If you want a little more seclusion and escape from the wind , this might be your type of campground.
We now know why this state park is always in such high demand and is one of the sought after reservations in the state.

What do you love about this campground? Have you been here before ? Seeing those deer was a great surprise.

Another great review! Perhaps another point you could touch on in future vids is whether you notice any restaurants or stores (for necessities) nearby - just a thought, thanks.

Also....there are a lot of us Camp Ground Hosts out here that would like a good view of the Host Sites also.
