nick strahan stop kissing his fucking ass. Literally all his movies are so overrated. When I watch a movie I expect to see it play out in chronological order and expect to give a shit about the characters but I don't. How are his movies 2 and a half hours long yet there's no moral to the story?
Dad - Shaddup. If you don’t care about his characters, or don’t find his movies intriguing, then that’s _your_ problem. Don’t blame someone else because YOU can’t appreciate a good story with stellar dialogue.

I feared it would drag but I was completely immersed from start to finish. Kurt Russell is so legend and Jennifer deserves the Oscar for sure, but they will probably give it to the person in latest Hollywood white guilt movie. I see this year is continuing the trend with "Race."
The interviewer actually did a great job, he really understood that Tarantino just needs to start talking about his work and just be kind of guided a bit to move the interview along. The best interviews Tarantino has had have been ones where he could just talk and wasn't hounded with stupid questions the entire time. The respect between both parties made this interview great. :P

By far my favorite interview/film channel on UA-cam. No one else goes so in depth, while at the same time feeling like a natural convo. You really feel like you’re sitting with Quentin and picking his brain. You can tell the actors/directors really open up and feel comfortable. You deserve way more subs 👍🏼

Quentin is a straight up movie genius. What’s impressive is that he has an equal love of storytelling and characters along with the art of filmmaking. You can tell he truly puts a lot of time and effort into his movies.

Quentin has done a thousand interviews and there is no sense of apathy or boredom with this aspect of his job. He's putting in considerable effort to make sure "we" understand everything he's is discussing. Really remarkable.

My favourite Tarantino film. If not my favourite movie in general. Reason being is that its always watchable for me. Even when i see clips, it makes me wanna keep watching. Ive watched Hateful 8 multiple times a year since its release. 9.9/10
Quentin is all up on History and retro isn't he. He has an astonishing breadth of knowledge , together with a very keen eye for minute detail, quirks and foibles. The kind of insignificant tiny detail that most would pass on. Tarrantino however is a genius at highlighting these idiosyncratic aspects, and then building on them to weave an fascinating story. He's a great storyteller that's for sure, and a gifted movie maker. His musical score and cinematography are beautiful aspects in his movies alone .He also seems to brings out the very best in his actors .Genius x :)

Guy Fawkes I instantly thought it was his best work after it was over. It's like all his films rolled into one. As if they were all connected and this was the conclusion. I have a feeling a lot more people will say this over time, as you eluded to
Tomas Jamieson I'm partial to "Kill Bill" because I share his love for the Shaw Brothers and Hong Kong cinema. "Hateful Eight" is definitely where he shows the most growth as a filmmaker and storyteller. His work up to "Inglourious Basterds" has always struck me as the cinematic equivalent of Hip-Hop and Mashup culture's use of samples to create a new artform. With "Inglourious", "Django" and "Hateful" he's working a more original vein than in previous films while at the same time making more traditional films, in a way. Interestingly he says his writing method changed during this period as well. I'm VERY interested to see what the next project will be. He's definitely into a new phase of his career at this point.
Cool they brought up Agatha Christie. Just read Murder on the Orient Express while listening to Ennio Morricone's score for the Hateful Eight. Safe to say it was a great experience.

I liked the fact that none of the main characters in this film is a saint. They can be hateful or likable. And like Tarantino said you can approach the plot quite differently depending on whom you side with. The first time I saw this movie my favorite character was John Ruth, and it was Chris Mannix second time around.
