Can we talk about how Con and Kristen are the oldest on the crew who are out (Kristen is gay, Con identifies as queer) and how amazing it must be to do beautiful drag make up and feel absolutely comfortable in their exploration and expression that them wearing drag isn’t for the butt of a joke or it in any way diminishes who Wee John and Izzy are as characters? Like that had to be amazing for these two older guys to have lived through so many reductive portrayals of queer men and restrictions on how men are supposed to portray and carry themselves, to just be free to wear make up and straight up serve
Have u watched uncle? Izzy’s actor wears women’s clothes every moment he’s on scene and no one makes fun of him in and everyone else acts as if it’s completely normal. It’s really refreshing to see, especially in a comedy that isn’t explicitly queer. Other Characters often mention being into the same gender and no one even seems shocked, a bit like ofmd in that way but the show is completely different. It’s so nice to see, especially in 2 different shows
Izzy putting on make up and singing La Vie En Rose was something I have never thought before, but I love this so much, I love this grumpy little man so much now
I love how Izzy let himself be curious and explore something new instead of rejecting it for being too scary and unfamiliar. He's finally opening up and getting comfortable with himself - just look at him and Wee John cuddling and caressing each other during the song! Jim, Olu and Archie are adorable together, too. I was worried Archie might throw off the dynamic, but she fits in so well with them.❤
First the crocs on the first season and now they are having a full drag queen moment on the ship, love it! Only this show can do a nice little blend of 1700s and the modern era.
This was my absolute favorite scene of this episode. I love the drama and action but to see everyone just let loose and express themselves is heartwarming.

This may actually be my favorite scene in the entire show. It’s not full of action and adventure, but love and family. They r all a family and it’s beautiful. They are all finally together, both physically and mentally back. 💖🥹

I’m crying 😢 because I hadn’t thought about the actors behind the characters and this is giving me all the feels.
Just being surrounded by younger queer actors able to live their authentic lives must be such an amazing feeling for them.
