Now I have a career, make my own schedule, going to school, have more than $12 in my bank account, and my collection might be smaller, but they’re all frags I love. Aventus was a goal for me. I told myself a year ago I would figure out how I could purchase a frag of such a high caliber, and somehow I did. But if I’m being honest, Tom Ford’s F*cking Fabulous is going to be me “grail.” I’m more about that life 😭
I love Aventus. As soon as I smelled it, it was the fragrance I always hoped I smelled whenever I opened up a new bottle I had never smelled before. It was exactly what I always wanted a fragrance to be. That being said, my main complaint was not that it was weak just that I wish it had more "back bone" so to speak. I almost wish they had an Aventus Intense(which we all know Creed would never do). I was happy enough with Aventus until I found Pineapple Vintage Emperor Extrait. It is Creed Aventus on steroids. I still have my 18G11 and I'll always treasure it but I will never seek out a "grail batch" because Emperor Extrait is identical in smell but with the oomph I always wanted
If all that you care about is compliments/how other people like it, don't get it. There are so many fragrances that other people will like just as much. Get it if you genuinely love the smell.
If you want to smell again, then put two toilet paper in your nose deep and wait for 30 minutes or 1 hour. You get your smell back. Other options. Smell 1 minute ( or over 1 minutes ) burned toast ( bread ) , then go back smelling Aventus Creed.
I don’t get it. I understand not liking the price but all the reasons you gave that you hate Aventus is because it’s really good - and all related reasons it’s really liked.
I get the olfactory fatigue with it as well as the Pineapple Vintage clones. My girl will still smell me 12 hours later and I think it's gone after 2 hours.
@Rome Monroe... Same with me. I think it is a skin scent... everyone else can still smell it. That doesn't happen with Armaf's CDNIM, as I can smell it for 12+ hours. The problem with that clone is its opening, so I try to spray that on about 15 - 20 mins before I actually head out to give it time to settle. Then the magic happens. Aventus has a beautiful opening and can be sprayed on immediately before you head out.
Due to batch variations, Aventus is not worth it. You don't know what you're going to get. Better to go for a decant of the bottle or to go for a reliable popular clone like Pineapple Vintage PVI or Emperor flankers, which many people say are way better than modern batches of Aventus.
i prefer PVIG , it smells like PVI when it released in 2017 but much stronger and longer lasting, there is a very strong lovely pineapple opening , it then drys down to a much stronger deeper version of the original
I bought a sample of it a few years ago from The Perfumed Court. It was nice but nothing mind blowing. I was not interested in buying a whole bottle. Also, as Demi Rawling says, it's so played out, let's move on! I'm not into smelling like everyone else. Great video...Thanks!
You are very wrong an all points. Except the price. WE in the EU can get this fragrance for 200 euros. Which is a decent price. Also fragrance isnt meant to be worn to drop panties, you wear a fragrance cus you enjoy it. If ur a fuccboi no amount of Aventus or any other fragrance will help you. :p

I have a strongly positive opinion of Aventus. In my case, it was the first fragrance that truly lived up to the hype. It's still my no. 2 fragrance of all time. I wore it yesterday actually. I can agree with those points about there being too many clones/fakes, but the fragrance myself I can't find anything to hate about it, except maybe the price. With the wide availability of small decants, even the price isn't something that would prevent someone from acquiring at least a small amount of it.
Love, Love, Love HONEST videos...so never apologize. Big Respect to you. I like Aventus and I'll always respect the original….but some of the clones do a better job at a far better price. I've always loved the Aventus DNA personally..but the thing I hate about this scent besides price, batch variations, and clones are that I get way more complements from MEN wearing it than WOMEN. If you want that type of attention have at it, but I'd prefer that kind of attention from the ladies. So I find myself reaching for Amouage Reflection Man or PdM Layton more often, which Ladies love on my skin.
While Creed Aventus is over saturated with hype, Creed Viking is being slept on and prices are going down. Can find authentic Creed Viking for about $200.00 and it slightly sneaking under the $200.00 mark.
I feel very unsatisfied with my aventus the note fly fast from my skin..I call the creed boutique and their told me to sent it back and their will sent me other one..I tried the man intense by club d nuit and definitely is better in the skin than creed aventus..🤕🤕🤒 creed aventus the aroma left faster from the skin..is not supposed. For the higher price I pay like 500 dollars from creed boutique..and very very disappointed
I've never had aventus, but I had pineapple vintage intense. I didn't get one compliment from that. I'm not sure how much they smell alike but I can't see it being worth it
My pet peeve is the batch variations. Since I really only started getting into the frag game about 2 years ago, I couldn't justify purchasing a full bottle until recently. Prior to that I was buying decants every few months from reputable sources. Out of the 5 or 6 decants I bought, every single one was different, but 2 of them I really liked. Recently in December I decided it was time to pull the trigger and got a 100ml bottle from Fragrancenet, batch 19S31. Unfortunately, this particular batch is not to my liking. Almost no pineapple or bergamot, super heavy on the blackcurrant and apple, and almost no detectable birch, which is the literal opposite of the elements I prefer in Aventus. If you like a dark, fruity, sweet Aventus, then 19S31 is for you.

There’s 2 reasons why I don’t think is worthy to buy Creed Aventus: First of all, THE PRICE! It is very expensive!. Most of the people that are watching channels related to fragrances,(beside one OFFICE for men that thinks ONLY CEOs, Presidents , ZARs and Emperors are watching his channel) don’t have enough money to buy CREED AVENTUS! ( I’m talking about the majority) Second, There’s other priorities. if you have the money and can afford it there’s 3 scenarios : 1. you are married with childrens(that means there’s no need to spend $500 dollars on A FRAGRANCE that will sit in your drawers for years, to impress your significant other she/he will love you with or without any fragrance whatsoever ) 2. you are single with money you would probably go for a sexy, playful, chill types of scents to gather attention, (I know, I know 2% of the ladies prefer Creed Aventus on the FIRST DATE!.... 💃🤳🏻🕺. 3 you are a collector that means you are OUT of this discussion for obvious reasons!.......anyways, thats my 2 things why I don’t think creed Aventus is worthy! I agree. Decants are the way to go all around, not just with Aventus. Unless you are a collector, why not save hundreds. The juice is the same, you just aren't paying for: 1) Pretty packaging 2) More juice than you'll likely ever use before wanting to try something new anyway

@Greg Graham.. I've had the same experience as well. I do get some compliments wearing Aventus..but mostly from dudes wanting to buy it. I've received waaaaay more compliments wearing CDNIM, and that is despite its harsher opening.
I love the scent so very much, no complaints about Aventus it's a great fragrance one of the very best and it gives me almost everything i need except the most important thing that i look for which is Uniqueness. Aventus recently is not unique anymore: too many clones and the fact that aventus is so popular, it won't set you apart from others which the main thing i look for in a fragrance. Dallas's video recommending unique and different fragrances is my most favorite fragrance video ever! I am eagerly looking for recommendations about non-blue-unique fragrances that gives the feel of the Character you are looking for.

Because of all the fanfare around this fragrance I really wanted to try it. I purchased the clone Parfums Vintage's Emperor Extrait and it made the smell made me feel sick, I couldn't stand the smell. I chocked it up to Emperor Extrait being a bad clone. I finally got a 2ml sample of Aventus and guess what, it smelled just like the clone but more complex. I didn't give up there, I actually blind bought Zion from Alexander Fragrance, another clone and the opening is not as offensive but didn't like it and everytime I tried wearing it I'd have to wash it off my skin or change my shirt because the smell revolts me. But guess what, I just got a sample of Mancera Cedrat Boise and its probably the least offensive Aventus type fragrance smell I've tried but not fore me. I guess its not for me, I really wanted to experience the wonderful smell every described.
It's likely that it will grow on you. Don't let the hype influence you. Just enjoy the fragrance for what it is and you'll see what the magic is all about
Creed Aventus is not unique anymore, even Zara has like more than 3 different clones (some are actually pretty good). I also see no point in getting the real one anymore since there are clones out there which smell almost identical in the air. Also for such a high price, I don't want the possibility to get a batch which last for less than 4 hours, which happend to me. But the good thing about Aventus is that you can compare it to a Rolex, It's high quality, boring, and overpriced af, but it kinda keeps its value. I was able to sell mine for a very good price online. Right now my Al Haramain is doing a better job than both Aventus bottles I owned.
@@SJVegetto To start with: Inflating their prices and weakening their concentrations. Creating a mediocre fragrance off the back of Aventus's success and selling it at a ridiculous price point. Replacing the use of some natural ingredients with synthetic ones.
I finally got my Aventus and I made a huge mistake after trying Virgin Island Water and Silver Mountain Water it’s not even the best Creed imo but great video good for those with no experience
I love Aventus, and I have it. It’s kinda art at this stage. Worth buying, But only if you love it. There’s no reason to pay €300 just for smelling good.its good if you love it or boost your confidence. But “don’t pay over €300 for perfume” doesn’t make sense to me. It’s like “don’t buy cigarette for make you unhealthy”.
Great video! IMO Aventus is no longer worth the price. I have been collecting since 2011 I have old batches and new. The old batches have the strength and projection but that also comes with slightly dated notes. The new are almost identical to the clones out there. Unless you make videos and need to show your bottle for validation it’s not worth it. This is by no means a shot at Chaos Frags I watch ur vids everyday. But just my opinion, I own 2 of the 16 batches and the difference between insurrection 2 pure are minuscule. The Z01 X02 11 batches I have have way more projection, longevity, fullness. But the oak moss dates it imo.
Just a bit of constructive criticism. You've been making quite a lot of videos with this cold video where you just star talking. It's alright, it works. But it's a little repetitive. Maybe try mixing it up?
Love your vids. You are always spot-on and this one is no exception. I've only purchased decants of Aventus from reputable sources and I've struggled a bit with it's projection somehow. Maybe olfactory fatigue would explain that. Still, I haven't pulled the trigger on getting a bottle of it as result. I find CDNIM and Al Haramain L'Aventure to both be more affordable clones at a better price, yet their obviously not quiet 'The' Aventus! Olfactory fatigue is a real thing. Multiple times now, I have had people multiple times compliment me HOURS after I would've bet money it was long gone. This also makes it prone to over-spraying, as you think it's gone or needs refreshing, and instead it's just that your senses have literally blocked it out. It's frustrating, because it makes it so hard to judge (and because I want to smell it too). So, like all scents, remember, less is more.
The dry down is trash. At least the 2020. Idk what year my decant was, but it was more fruity and lasted all day. The 2020 batch dries down to a wet wooden plank smell. Maybe my nose is trippin but it seems like aventus has too many inconsistencies or fragrancenet just isn’t the place to shop. Made me appreciate my good ol trusty ysl lhomme a whole lot more.
K first, gotta say it. I hate this smell. Im a girl. When the guys in my house spray this...-.- i go maddd...because: Its too strong (can literally smell it from another room with the door closed the second its sprayed) Its tooo citrusy It hurts my nose and gives me a headache. Ok. So after hearing you’re 1st reason, I figured out why the men in the house spray this tooo much. Is is because it caused smell fatigue or w.e? Im am there complaining that its too strong while they tell me they cant smell it😡🤬. .....i have been telling them nicely for a long time not to spray it around me at least...then one day i cracked because they thought i was joking when i said I HATE THat smell! , so i dumped the rest of the bottle down the toilet (yes, a 500 bottle) my nose couldn’t take it anymore!! Which brings me to my second question. I am like the only person who hates the fragrance, everyone else i know LOVES it. I think my sense of smell is just too strong. I have a place where I live that sells full 120ml bottles for 30$ and 65 ml testers for 10$, people think it's the real thing and buy it all the time and then they shit on that fragrance because they didn't know better

I've had two bottles and haven't got anymore since and honestly both bottles smelled different and it wasn't even close either literally one smelled completely different but I got them for free so I can't complain really. And no guys I didn't steal them lol. I know people have stole it but I'm no thief. That said both mine where a gift and actually were from the same person. I work at a moving company as a trick driver and the job we were on. Was a very wealthy older man who was a millionaire and he had the biggest cologne collection I ever seen. He had easily 2 thousand plus bottles and we were talking about how much he loved his cologne and wanted them to be moved with care so I myself actually packed them. And while packing them I seen he had creed and said you like it?. Because at this time I never smelled it yet it was when I was just then getting into cologne collecting. And he got one for me to smell and I loved it and laughed and said to bad it's so expensive I can't afford to spend that on cologne. So he looks and says hey it's my favorite cologne and I have ten brand new bottles in stock and he said hell let me give you two of them and I was shocked. I'm speechless and couldn't be more happier they both were still in sealed boxes and because he loves it the most he kept ten bottles on stock and he also had atleast two of each other colognes he had so definitely was a great day for me lol two free Creed bottles hell yea and he still ended up tipping everyone 200 dollars each when we finished the job so 200 dollars and 2 Creed bottles brand new thats one of the best customers I've met in the moving industry but like I said both bottles didn't smell the same so idk why?? Maybe because I didn't open the second bottle until I had about a quarter left in the first one and knowing that temp and lighting can make your cologne start to lose its smell etc so maybe that's why?? But even though I like It it's not my favorite cologne and I still wouldn't pay that much for any cologne because there's too many others that cost no more than 100 dollars that are just as good imo
Imo it smells bad. Now I know it is considered the king but when I smell it I want to hurry up and shove a lit cigarette in my nose. Axe body spray of any type is 100% upgrade from this worm snot debacle.
aventus is broken imo… i own 5 bottles of Creed, all of them has solid longevitiy About 6-8 Hours, but my aventus Batch from 2018 only lasts like 3 Hours on my Skin... this makes me really MAD!
@@adidkjf Could be, or maybe the environment. I work in an office, and can easily detect the scent even in the afternoon. It is not strong of course, but it is present ... I spray aventus only one, two days a week, try to take a longer break from it

@@adidkjf To me it is a bright batch, wonderful opening,the pineapple and apple certainly longer than 30 min. but not too much in fact as I remember. Heavier pineapple batches are 17s01 or 17y01. Do not know, the dry down is pleasant to me, vanilla with sweet woodiness or something similar. Aventus had never been a beast, anyway. If you want a monster of performance try baccarat rouge 540, I'm already saving for a bottle.
Which is the reason why there’s no point spending a lot of money a fragrance who don’t last. I spend a lot of money on Tom tobacco and vanilla and it last the whole day with a good projection
the reaction from women on this fragrance is like they wanna have sex with you right away hahahaha. at least from the compliments iv gotten. I love when I get a whiff of this when it dries down. I don't smell it after 30 mins, but everyone around me does and they love it....last all day, but nowadays I replenish early afternoon.

You should try Intense Gold by PV , I can smell it on me for hours!

Eros, Sauvage, Bleu de Chanel, Dylan blue, DG one, you can all get compliments with these fragrances for a fraction of the price.

There’s 2 reasons why I don’t think is worthy to buy Creed Aventus: First of all, THE PRICE! It is very expensive!. Most of the people that are watching channels related to fragrances,(beside one OFFICE for men that thinks ONLY CEOs, Presidents , ZARs and Emperors are watching his channel) don’t have enough money to buy CREED AVENTUS! ( I’m talking about the majority) Second, There’s other priorities. if you have the money and can afford it there’s 3 scenarios : 1. you are married with childrens(that means there’s no need to spend $500 dollars on A FRAGRANCE that will sit in your drawers for years, to impress your significant other she/he will love you with or without any fragrance whatsoever ) 2. you are single with money you would probably go for a sexy, playful, chill types of scents to gather attention, (I know, I know 2% of the ladies prefer Creed Aventus on the FIRST DATE!.... 💃🤳🏻🕺. 3 you are a collector that means you are OUT of this discussion for obvious reasons!.......anyways, thats my 2 things why I don’t think creed Aventus is worthy! But how about don’t buy full bottle just a 10-20 ml decant? Makes sense now right? I won’t hate on the KING 👑! It is a good scent, if you are, just like me, a fragrance enthusiast, IT IS A MUST HAVE! Come guys! What would the life of fragrances be without creed aventus? There’s NOT a COMPLETE collection without CREED AVENTUS! Lmao 🤣 . 👍 . Nice video bro! Keep it going.
I agree. Decants are the way to go all around, not just with Aventus. Unless you are a collector, why not save hundreds. The juice is the same, you just aren't paying for:
1) Pretty packaging
2) More juice than you'll likely ever use before wanting to try something new anyway

@Greg Graham.. I've had the same experience as well. I do get some compliments wearing Aventus..but mostly from dudes wanting to buy it. I've received waaaaay more compliments wearing CDNIM, and that is despite its harsher opening.

I love the scent so very much, no complaints about Aventus it's a great fragrance one of the very best and it gives me almost everything i need except the most important thing that i look for which is Uniqueness. Aventus recently is not unique anymore: too many clones
and the fact that aventus is so popular, it won't set you apart from others which the main thing i look for in a fragrance. Dallas's video recommending unique and different fragrances is my most favorite fragrance video ever!

Because of all the fanfare around this fragrance I really wanted to try it. I purchased the clone Parfums Vintage's Emperor Extrait and it made the smell made me feel sick, I couldn't stand the smell. I chocked it up to Emperor Extrait being a bad clone. I finally got a 2ml sample of Aventus and guess what, it smelled just like the clone but more complex. I didn't give up there, I actually blind bought Zion from Alexander Fragrance, another clone and the opening is not as offensive but didn't like it and everytime I tried wearing it I'd have to wash it off my skin or change my shirt because the smell revolts me. But guess what, I just got a sample of Mancera Cedrat Boise and its probably the least offensive Aventus type fragrance smell I've tried but not fore me. I guess its not for me, I really wanted to experience the wonderful smell every described.
It's likely that it will grow on you. Don't let the hype influence you. Just enjoy the fragrance for what it is and you'll see what the magic is all about
Creed Aventus is not unique anymore, even Zara has like more than 3 different clones (some are actually pretty good). I also see no point in getting the real one anymore since there are clones out there which smell almost identical in the air. Also for such a high price, I don't want the possibility to get a batch which last for less than 4 hours, which happend to me. But the good thing about Aventus is that you can compare it to a Rolex, It's high quality, boring, and overpriced af, but it kinda keeps its value. I was able to sell mine for a very good price online. Right now my Al Haramain is doing a better job than both Aventus bottles I owned.

@@SJVegetto To start with: Inflating their prices and weakening their concentrations. Creating a mediocre fragrance off the back of Aventus's success and selling it at a ridiculous price point. Replacing the use of some natural ingredients with synthetic ones.

I finally got my Aventus and I made a huge mistake after trying Virgin Island Water and Silver Mountain Water it’s not even the best Creed imo but great video good for those with no experience
I love Aventus, and I have it. It’s kinda art at this stage. Worth buying, But only if you love it. There’s no reason to pay €300 just for smelling good.its good if you love it or boost your confidence.

Great video! IMO Aventus is no longer worth the price. I have been collecting since 2011 I have old batches and new. The old batches have the strength and projection but that also comes with slightly dated notes. The new are almost identical to the clones out there. Unless you make videos and need to show your bottle for validation it’s not worth it. This is by no means a shot at Chaos Frags I watch ur vids everyday. But just my opinion, I own 2 of the 16 batches and the difference between insurrection 2 pure are minuscule. The Z01 X02 11 batches I have have way more projection, longevity, fullness. But the oak moss dates it imo.
Creed Aventus very pricey…Dior Sauvage and Versace Eros are long lasting and worth to buy!

Just a bit of constructive criticism. You've been making quite a lot of videos with this cold video where you just star talking. It's alright, it works. But it's a little repetitive. Maybe try mixing it up?

Love your vids. You are always spot-on and this one is no exception. I've only purchased decants of Aventus from reputable sources and I've struggled a bit with it's projection somehow. Maybe olfactory fatigue would explain that. Still, I haven't pulled the trigger on getting a bottle of it as result. I find CDNIM and Al Haramain L'Aventure to both be more affordable clones at a better price, yet their obviously not quiet 'The' Aventus! Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge on Aventus and many other great frags.
Olfactory fatigue is a real thing. Multiple times now, I have had people multiple times compliment me HOURS after I would've bet money it was long gone. This also makes it prone to over-spraying, as you think it's gone or needs refreshing, and instead it's just that your senses have literally blocked it out.
It's frustrating, because it makes it so hard to judge (and because I want to smell it too).
So, like all scents, remember, less is more.
I bought a Creed Aventus at 120 dollars but it is so much potent. It smells n project strong for 4 days easily.
The dry down is trash. At least the 2020. Idk what year my decant was, but it was more fruity and lasted all day. The 2020 batch dries down to a wet wooden plank smell. Maybe my nose is trippin but it seems like aventus has too many inconsistencies or fragrancenet just isn’t the place to shop. Made me appreciate my good ol trusty ysl lhomme a whole lot more.
I prefer Bond No9 Scent of Peace for men over Aventus. Interesting thoughts mate 👍 -Nik

Its too strong (can literally smell it from another room with the door closed the second its sprayed)

Ok. So after hearing you’re 1st reason, I figured out why the men in the house spray this tooo much. Is is because it caused smell fatigue or w.e? Im am there complaining that its too strong while they tell me they cant smell it😡🤬.
.....i have been telling them nicely for a long time not to spray it around me at least...then one day i cracked because they thought i was joking when i said I HATE THat smell! , so i dumped the rest of the bottle down the toilet (yes, a 500 bottle) my nose couldn’t take it anymore!!
Which brings me to my second question. I am like the only person who hates the fragrance, everyone else i know LOVES it. I think my sense of smell is just too strong. I get annoyed of specific strong smells. If i sprayed this on me will i also get nose fatigue or W.e?

I've had two bottles and haven't got anymore since and honestly both bottles smelled different and it wasn't even close either literally one smelled completely different but I got them for free so I can't complain really. And no guys I didn't steal them lol. I know people have stole it but I'm no thief. That said both mine where a gift and actually were from the same person. I work at a moving company as a trick driver and the job we were on. Was a very wealthy older man who was a millionaire and he had the biggest cologne collection I ever seen. He had easily 2 thousand plus bottles and we were talking about how much he loved his cologne and wanted them to be moved with care so I myself actually packed them. And while packing them I seen he had creed and said you like it?. Because at this time I never smelled it yet it was when I was just then getting into cologne collecting. And he got one for me to smell and I loved it and laughed and said to bad it's so expensive I can't afford to spend that on cologne. So he looks and says hey it's my favorite cologne and I have ten brand new bottles in stock and he said hell let me give you two of them and I was shocked. I'm speechless and couldn't be more happier they both were still in sealed boxes and because he loves it the most he kept ten bottles on stock and he also had atleast two of each other colognes he had so definitely was a great day for me lol two free Creed bottles hell yea and he still ended up tipping everyone 200 dollars each when we finished the job so 200 dollars and 2 Creed bottles brand new thats one of the best customers I've met in the moving industry but like I said both bottles didn't smell the same so idk why?? Maybe because I didn't open the second bottle until I had about a quarter left in the first one and knowing that temp and lighting can make your cologne start to lose its smell etc so maybe that's why?? But even though I like It it's not my favorite cologne and I still wouldn't pay that much for any cologne because there's too many others that cost no more than 100 dollars that are just as good imo

aventus is broken imo… i own 5 bottles of Creed, all of them has solid longevitiy About 6-8 Hours, but my aventus Batch from 2018 only lasts like 3 Hours on my Skin... this makes me really MAD!

@@adidkjf To me it is a bright batch, wonderful opening,the pineapple and apple certainly longer than 30 min. but not too much in fact as I remember. Heavier pineapple batches are 17s01 or 17y01. Do not know, the dry down is pleasant to me, vanilla with
sweet woodiness or something similar. Aventus had never been a beast, anyway. If you want a monster of performance try baccarat rouge 540, I'm already saving for a bottle.

I don't smell it after 30 mins, but everyone around me does and they love it....last all day, but nowadays I replenish early afternoon.
