Just wanted to say thanks. I am 3 weeks into my first term at UMPI and I am done with my Bachelor of Liberal Studies with minors in Business Admin, Management Information Systems, and Project Management. I started watching your videos in August. I started doing Coursera and Sophia on 9/1. Started UMPI 10/28 and Today 11/15 I turned in the final for my 10th and final course at UMPI!
How difficult are the papers? The reason I'm asking is it feels like a slow grind at Excelsior for a cornerstone and I'm looking at another 8 weeks in a capstone.
I’m so glad to have found your channel when I did. I will be earning my bachelors degree from SNHU in just 10 months thanks to learning about Sophia Learning from your channel.
My favourite prime number is 11, because it feels well balanced! I think it's just a pleasing number to look at. For me, a consultation would be amazing as I'm looking to pivot from dead end jobs to building an actual career. I have been looking at online schooling, but being from Canada options are so much more limited - and CBE is basically unheard of. I don't have the money to do traditional schooling full time, and don't want to spend 6+ years doing it part time. College Hacked has given me hope that I could actually get a degree relatively quickly, for a reasonable cost - and I just need help figuring out the best way to do it!
Love you guys, thank you for all your help im in my first semester, second term at UMPI and once this term is over i will have half of the credits i need to do there completed. It is looking like i may be able to finish my degree in less than a year.
I just wanted to make a quick comment here. I didn't use a consultation because the content you upload has LOTS of value. Thanks to your content I now finish my computer science degree from wgu in February at 18 years old and I plan to start my masters at georgia tech (OMSCS) in august. again, thank you so much
This is beyond amazing. You are clearly a very driven 18 year old, you’re going to accomplish amazing things in life! Don’t forget about the little people when you become the next Elon Musk 😉
my favorite prime number is 1 and the reason is that is the first and is always the beginning of things and projects and when you start a new project you make it your priority and is like when you are dating someone the first time is so full of different emotions and happiness and been afraid and excitement and worry that makes you feel out of this world. That's why I like the number 1.
Outstanding content! I’m glad you read Ryan’s comments because I think you’re both right. I’m actually using a hybrid College Hacked/9 Month Grad approach to complete my degree at WGU. More importantly, you’re giving people hope through your content. Thank you for being a blessing to so many.
First term at Umpi this fall. There is a lot of writing. First two classes will be a total of 8 papers. Idk how some students can finish 10 classes in one term, it is simply amazing. If i am missing something please do tell I am all ears. I have a decision to make as to whether Bus 200 or MAt140 which is faster since fall session is done on the 20th of next month.
The people finishing that fast are going straight to the final/milestone requirements and then tailoring their learning to what they need to write about. Then they are often writing B or C average material and pushing through. Some people finish with a 4.0, but most are subscribing to the “C’s get degrees” mentality. :) Everyone has different goals!
Same. I got exemplary marks on my first paper and a good job comment. I really didn't expect that. I thought I'd have to do it over. I think I stress over it way too much.
I absolutely ENJOY each and every video posted. I struggle so much in school life balance. I've been told by so many EMPLOYERS coworkers and friends. " You need your EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE to match your degree" 😢
11 my name’s Peter, and I’d really appreciate this scholarship. For a year and a half, I was in Asia as a Christian missionary, helping human trafficking survivors and orphans. That experience really opened my eyes to the importance of education in changing lives, and now I’m trying to get back there to teach and make an even bigger impact. This consultation would help me take the next step toward that goal. Thank you for the opportunity!
My two cents on this matter is that the same thing that happens in liberal degrees happens in STEM. I know some many people who got general science degrees who can't find a job or the job they got pays like 15 an hour (really makes going into college debt pointless for that). In those in degrees like engineering having a hard time. I think it is just more common to happen in liberal arts. At the end of the day, know 2 things: one) pick a degree to get a job and two) know what you are studying is not your work environment. You may love what you learn, but the work environment may destroy you.
Hi! I'd love a consultation because I'm currently working on finishing up my BA from UMPI in the coming months, and I've been looking into MPA programs. However, I've been working around 70 hours a week on top of my bachelor's work, so I haven't been able to dedicate a lot of time to researching master's programs, so a consultation would really help! My favorite prime number is 2, since it's the only even prime number!
I just finished my MPA with Franklin. Shortest course load with 9 classes. Can be done in a year or so. I did a lot of research before I stayed with Franklin. I got my bachelors from them as well
My favorite prime number is 1… I would really like a consultation because one goal I have before I pass away is to at least have a bachelors degree. But now with college hacking I think and believe I could even work towards a masters degree I had given up on my dream towards a bachelor a while back because I had no financial support so I quit college and had to work full time to support myself. I became depressed and went to therapy to understand where it was all coming from one thing I realized was that I felt like a failure for not being able to get a degree now that I’ve worked through that all I do have a goal to finish college just for my self and I would really appreciate help from the team it would make everything that much more affordable.
My favorite prime number is 2 because it feels like it shouldn’t be a prime number. I’m looking to go back to school for two reasons. I’m a homeschool mom of 4 and although I personally work on my education I want my children to see the value of going after a college degree. The second reason is my husband is very close to retiring from the Army and I would like to be able to work and let him take a break from being gone all of the time. I have done a lot of research on my own and just want to verify with someone else that this is the best track to getting my degree.
Hi, love you guys and thank you for the great information you provide. I would love to get a consultation, I am currently working to get Sophia credits and possibly CLEP to transfer to the Bachelor in Business Administration HRM at WGU. I completed 45 credits business courses at a community college a few years ago and PHR certification. Prime 47 because is my age, it’s never too late 😅😅 single mther trying to motivate my son.
Great video. I repeatedly see questions about whether one learns as much when hacking through a degree quickly, as one would when doing the brick-and-mortar route education. I hacked my degree a long time ago, and for years had impostor syndrome about it. Then, I went to law school, and found myself on a highly-competitive Dean's List. I finally caught on that my "hacked" bachelor's degree had given me superlative preparation. Yes, I DO remember the material for one course that I only spent a week hacking. I gave it my full attention, and cared whether I learned it or not. I'd put a hacked degree up against brick-and-mortar any day - and not just against the slacker "C" students, either.
Thanks Lauren and Clifford for the insightful content. I didn't even know a degree could be hacked until last week when I found this channel! Have you ever seen someone hack one of these online degrees while working overseas as a non-military American citizen? As an athlete, I was looking at pursuing a BA in computer science at WGU while competing in Germany. From your experience is this realistic? I would think it wouldn't matter since it's online...Thanks!
Glad you found us! 😄 While WGU isn’t an option for students living outside the US/Canada (no idea why, it’s a weird rule) while completing courses, TESU or SNHU would be viable options. We have a. video on CS degrees if you haven’t seen it already :)
My favorite prime number is 7. It's simply too good. Perhaps even divine. I'm a father of four working a blue collar job. I want to get into a new career, probably in IT, to make a better life for my kids and wife.
Favorite prime number 7 because it is the number of completion, God likes it. I would like to win a consultation to help my teen daughter figure out her path. She would like to be an animator. Would love if you did a video on animation programs on line like from Full Sail and I think Liberty has a partial online program. We're also broke so finding a way to hack it as much as possible would be great.
I would love a consultation to help me save both time and money as I work toward earning my degree. Both of which I will need as a new parent next week 😅 This opportunity would bring my dream of higher education within reach by addressing financial and scheduling challenges. As a pastor serving in multiple roles, I’m deeply committed to gaining skills that will better equip me to serve my community. With our first baby boy arriving this coming Tuesday, this consultation would be a life-changing step, giving me the tools to balance education, ministry, and parenthood while securing a brighter future for my family and those I serve. About my favorite prime number...that would be 3. The power of three helps us remember, decision-making, and messaging. And by using this principle, businesses can simplify consumer options by making their packaging offerings more attractive and easier to trust. The Nike slogan comes to mind, 'Just do it'. Also, I read that people will usually go for the mid tier package. This is specially true when selecting subscription plans such as internet, netflix, etc. Btw, I love the work you guys are doing! Never knew college hacking was even possible.
I would like a consult because i have work at the same place for 15 years and I can't seem to move any further because i do not have a college degree( which has held me back at other jobs as well). Im tired of coworkers who are less qualified or does not even care about the work we do pass me by solely because they have a degree and i do not. Favorite prime number is 7 because its supposed to be lucky. Love the content btw. I had no idea college could be hacked or i would done it years ago m
Im looking into getting a DBA or DSL from liberty university, but im not good at math. Could you breakdown the difference and should I be afraid of the DBA since it has a little math? Thank you!
DBA is like an MBA, DSL is like an MAOL. DBA will be harder, there are more “hard skills” where the DSL is more “soft skills.” But you could definitely handle either. With all the tools that exist online now, as long as you have the time and motivation there’s really nothing you can’t get through! You should pursue the one you’re more drawn to and/or that is more desirable to your end goal audience. You got this!
@CollegeHacked I really do appreciate that and thank you very much for all the content you produce. I do want to give you your flowers, because I told my cousin about your videos and he was able to knockout 50% of his BA degree within the past 60 days. Your videos and content are the reason why his life is going to change for the better. 34 years old, married , without a job to next year being able to support his family and afford to live a better life. I just want to say thank you for him and never stop doing what your doing. ❤️
Do you have any information on doctorate degrees at South College? I heard they offer a competency-based doctorate, but getting much information or first-hand accounts has been tough
That’s about where we’re at. We know it exists and that South is a good school for being for-profit. But there isn’t a ton of info beyond that. Eventually, I’ll have a client who is interested and then I’ll call and get more details.
I was between Umass global and Purdue and chose Umass global because its about half the cost! I know you can advance quickly with Purdue but the cost difference is huge! I wanted to know if you could transfer credits from a university like Umass global to a university like UF? , either for another online B.A or an online Masters. Thanks
Just wanted to say thanks. WOW! That’s amazing, so glad we could help inspire you along the way!
Way to go!!!!

@ ouch. Sounds painful. How far in are you? Maybe you should consider hiring Cliff to see if you’re on the best track.

Good job. Keep at it! You will succeed.
Congrats!! Amazing work, so glad we could help 🎉
Love the dynamic duo of Lauren & Clifford. Always great knowledge drops.
Both of you are such free thinkers and I really enjoy your videos.
Thank you!
Dr Lauren’s statement starting @21:02 …PERIODT!!!!

Love you two but i have an important question! Umass Global or UMGC for my Masters? I've done my research but want your opinion.
Same tier, they’ll be very similar experiences :) Calling each and talking to someone is a good experiment to gather more info!
Thank you! @@CollegeHacked
Some of those comments were funny, knowing the Paul vs Tyson fight is tonight.
THE TIMING! Didn’t even plan that one 😂

It’s nationally accredited, there are much better schools.

Doctor Cliff, turns out you could have taken Tyson. All it took to beat him was a pile of cash for him to fall on.

@george janko should invite you guys on podcast
We’d love that 😉
Hi ,I would really be grateful if you can reccomend me online regionally accredited university that offer interior design which is also affordable 🥺
Wish I could! I’m not aware of a program that fits that bill. Interior design isn’t a hackable degree as far as I’m aware.
I stand by my statement. Get any degree and it will open a lot of doors you never even considered. Also 2,147,483,647 is my favorite prime number.
