Dammit I couldn't think of it. Back in the very early days of SNL they did a joke where they used the word uvula, a word few people would know, and implied that it was something dirty. Anyway, I don't remember if the joke was very funny, but back then I looked up the meaning of uvula and haven't forgotten it until I took this quiz. Well I knew it but couldn't remember it.
'Derpite' 😂😂😂 Thanks Sean, I really enjoyed this quiz. It's surprising how you don't forget stuff you learned so long ago in school. Thank you, and thanks for keeping your questions interesting.
Around 77, which makes me feel less thick than I suspected I was. Full marks for Literature & Language. I know nothing about Business, but had some happy guesses! Must brush-up on Physical Science. I was sure Jupiter had the most moons. Time to read-up on astronomy. Thank you.
93/100 (Missed 4 of in the geography section alone, which is my weak point!) I have to nit-pick on two questions. For question 93, while "quirky" is correct; "weird" is also a viable option. And on question 91, you can also argue that triangle is the odd one out because all the others have four sides whereas a triangle has three sides. Thoughts? Thank you Sean. Loved it!
Thank you so much! Excellent score. Question 93 is open for debate, I agree... But on 91, the shapes are 2D, and except for the cube. The triangle has 3 sides (or edges), while the cube has 4x6 = 24 edges.
This is actually a fair test of a person's knowledge of mostly useless trivia that will fairly well judge your chances of getting into college. A really good memory for trivia will get you far in life in most endeavors.

I am well through college and medical career and was never exposed to this type of questions . Though answering 95 correctly it’s mostly from reading and experience . Answer to bonus question is uvula. Love this challenge . Thankyou Sean !
Same, university was 20+ years ago. I managed 86 and got the bonus. I'm probably slightly above average intelligence, but not by a great margin. I only had it tested once and it came out at 125, which isn't gonna change the world.
For question # 91 you can argue that triangle is the correct response from the perspective that the main face of the other shapes involves 4 enclosed lines - even though the cube is the only multifaced shape - versus a triangle which only has 3 enclosed lines which encompasses its shaped face.
@@detormentis I wasn't disagreeing with that viewpoint. I was just stating that the way you phrased the question "Which is the odd one out?" didn't specify exactly what constituted the distinguishing feature that separated any one choice from the others, so there are now 2 correct responses to that question. If you had wanted the sole correct response to be "cube", then you should have mentioned the distinguishing parameter that would have solely qualified that answer as being the only correct response: thru referencing the number of faces in your question, versus the shape of each face. Since neither characteristic was mentioned in your query, both "cube" and "triangle" are correct responses.
@@musicoldies83 That's the point of the question. For YOU to figure out what the distinguishing feature is. It's not a knowledge question it's an IQ question. BTW...a cube is enclosed by 12 lines, not 4

Wow, Sean! You've outdone yourself with this great quiz! I managed 80/100 for Tesla; Bonus is Uvula. I thoroughly enjoyed this one! Thanks so much and Have a great weekend!😊💖🌿🌼🍃🥀🐝
Great quiz Sean, most enjoyable and informative. I scored 90 / 100. Maybe I could get into college at the ripe old age of 77 ! I think the bonus answer might be the tonsils.
I guess my humble education and a lifelong interest in random knowledge coupled with a hunger for reading gleaned me a generous 90 correct answers. A few I had to ponder for a bit (a short bit, as there's not much time to finalize an answer), but still overall good fun. Thank you for creating these quiz videos.
Thank you Sean! I enjoyed the format and the questions!😊😊😊🎉🎉 Curie award for me this round, uvula is the bonus. Keep up your wonderful work!👍👍👍🍀🍀🙋♀️🙋♀️
It's a commonly believed myth that haiku are 17 syllables. Haikus are written in Japanese and Japanese is a non-syllabic language. One of the most famous Haikus "Tundra" is only two syllables. Correct. Hence the disclaimer at the end, that this is not a varsity entrance exam. It is a fun quiz, along the lines of "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader". As an adult, you don't need top take a quiz to know whether you are smarter than a 5th grader, surely.

I suffered a TIA & my processing is slower than it used to be. Overall, it was fun and reminded me of my college days. It also reminded me why I didn’t do well in history. 🤪
Geography was my best category, with math/business my worst, although it should have been my strongest. I think the bonus is uvla or uvula. If you ever include a spelling category, I would have to skip it. lol. Great quiz. Thanks!
My results from the quiz. Geography - 14/15 (Missouri river, okay). Literature and language - 13/15 (Two dumb mistakes since I study linguistics). History - 12/15 (Really did not know these three). Maths and business - 12/15 (I guessed at least three correctly). Biology - 9/15 (I'm not good at Biology LOL) Physical science - 13/15 (Somehow did well here). I missed 10, more than I expected! Most of those were in the economics section, though. Not sure "you should be able to answer" those for college. Also, why are birthplaces of famous people important? Otherwsie, a good test, I look forward to more.
I think it was the first question. Should be Plateau not Plato but I know English is not your first language. Ek praat ook die taal. I'm from Durban. Nice quiz, BTW. Also thought that the triangle vs square cube rectangle was a bit ambiguous but understood the reasoning. Some of the history and business ones I missed because I never did those for matric but I got most of the others. Thanks again.
I did worst in those categories. Maybe we would make a good team since our stronger areas appear to be completely different. I lost all my questions in the Math and Business section from the Business questions. I know Math quite well. I didn't know all those business terms, though.
You only need basic arithmetic and read and write at the adult level All subjects start at the beginning. At my college, the only math requirement for all was college algebra, something I learned in high school.
The epiglottis is not teardrop-shaped, and it does not hang (both features specified in the question). The epiglottis is leaf-shaped and located on the bottom part of the throat entrance, standing upright. I have been accepting epiglottis as the bonus answer, but the actual answer is uvula. THANKS!
I really enjoyed taking this I'm a freshman in college I just to see if I'm smart enough for it I got 48/100 I don't know if this is considered a pass some questions I just random guessed so not sure if I actually smart enough for college 😅
This was entertaining... my tired old brain could only muster 89... damn that Anne Hathaway - I couldn't remember, and I should have... also, honestly never knew where the IMF was based, so thanks for that. Also thought that the triangle vs square cube rectangle was a bit ambiguous but understood the reasoning. Some of the history and business ones I missed because I never did those for matric but I got most of the others. Thanks again.
75/100. Uvala is the bonus question
I did best in Geography and Math
I did worst in those categories. Maybe we would make a good team since our stronger areas appear to be completely different.
I lost all my questions in the Math and Business section from the Business questions. I know Math quite well. I didn't know all those business terms, though.
77 out of 100 for me, plus I got the bonus question.
81. No idea about the business questions.
Yeah, same.
Outside of business and geography, I only missed 3 questions.
You only need basic arithmetic and read and write at the adult level All subjects start at the beginning. At my college, the only math requirement for all was college algebra, something I learned in high school.
I got 84. I would be admitted to college, which is good, because I was 54 years ago. :)
💚✌🏽I always thought rickets was caused by lack of vit c as citrus was hard to get on boats, I realize now it’s not rickets but scurvy. Great quiz
You are correct!
Epiglottis! :-) I'm an RN so I know this!
THANK YOU!
The epiglottis is not teardrop-shaped, and it does not hang (both features specified in the question). The epiglottis is leaf-shaped and located on the bottom part of the throat entrance, standing upright. I have been accepting epiglottis as the bonus answer, but the actual answer is uvula. THANKS!
In middle school and my rank is Tesla Award of innovation. I’m also pretty sure the bonus question answer is uvula.
I really enjoyed taking this I'm a freshman in college I just to see if I'm smart enough for it I got 48/100 I don't know if this is considered a pass some questions I just random guessed so not sure if I actually smart enough for college 😅
76/100 from Ireland 🇮🇪. The business questions killed me
This was entertaining... my tired old brain could only muster 89... damn that Anne Hathaway - I couldn't remember, and I should have... also, honestly never knew where the IMF was based, so thanks for that. My uvula is shaking right now... I got my denominator and numerator flipped... like 5/4 of all people, I don't get fractions... and I got scurvy mixed up with ricketts...
92 and it is the glottis. I ran afoul over the bookkeeping and business terms.
Great quiz my friend.
