    Hi there Kurt! Just wondering as you mentioned to only use the spray & polish on cards with a shiny coating. Just wondering if you've had experience with Pokemon cards and if these would work on that sort of surface?😊

    Kurt, good evening. I just purchased the kit. I’m looking forward to using it.
    Quick question and this may be a bit off the wall. Have you heard of the 1981 set Topps/Perma Graphics put out? The cards are basically “credit card” style cards…all plastic. If you look super close and in the right light, you can see swirl marks where maybe a couple cards rubbed against each other. These are very light surface scratches. Will your polish remove these types of scratches?

    • @kurtscardcare

      You can definitely work on Pokémon/Yugioh. Just make sure you’re working on a shiny protective clearcoat. If you have a card that is not protected the spray and the polish with saturate the card so you don’t want to do that. If you ever wanna send me pictures follow me on Instagram and message me anytime ✌🏼

    Hey kurt the other day i was trying to clean out surfave issues on a 1989 super mario card. It has some black smudging
    Who knows from what. Got a little off but not much. Any advice how to get it off. Im lazy and i just jumped into it i started dping small circles with polish. That didnt work so o tried the spray. Are some cards doomed or am i missing a step. Perfect everything but edges and psa 10s go for 200 while 9s and 8s go for like 10 20 bucks lol...ppl are weird about psa 10s. Tbh id buy an 8 all day and save the money. Just me tho

    • @kurtscardcare
      @kurtscardcare  2 роки тому +1

      I agree with you, I personally collect what I like. Many of my favorite cards in my pc are 8s, 9s and 10s.
      You are also correct that some cards will clean up a little bit but not 100%. My advice is this. I’ll always buy a base card of what I’m working on and I’ll push that thing to the limits so I know how hard I can go on the card that I really want to work on. I have never worked on a Mario card, that is my generation for sure but I just never had one. Pick up one of the cheap ones and do whatever you want to it. If you get one they look really good, take some pictures. I’ll post it on IG and I’ll tag you 🤙🏼 good luck and keep me posted.

    I don't know if you've been asked this before, but I was curious. Would your products help remove/lighten up surface scratches on factory sealed video games before grading? Just a thought that crossed my mind, but I wouldn't risk testing it myself before asking.

    • @MkMaster13
      @MkMaster13 Рік тому +1

      Update: I tested the kit out on a cheap Xbox One factory sealed game.
      First I want to say, the corner tool worked perfectly to remove price stickers off the factory sealed cellophane without leaving any scratching at all.
      The polish worked pretty well at completely removing light surface scratches in the cellophane. Some of the deeper ones I couldn't get out. I was shining a bright light on it at different angles while doing this.
      The spray worked wonderfully to remove any markings, old residue and cleaned up the cellophane very nicely.
      I know this is made for cards, but it works great on factory sealed games as well surprisingly.
      Also, non factory sealed related. You can clean up video game console boxes very nicely with the spray as well. Cleaned off all of the dirt and residue off my console boxes to make them shine like they were sitting in a store shelf.

    Curt is there anything that can be done to clean up say a dirty card say a 59 Topps paper?

    • @kurtscardcare
      @kurtscardcare  2 роки тому +1

      There’s a chance, I have used my cleaning spray applied to cotton to be able to wipe off surfaces of a variety of paper cards. You just don’t want to wipe paper cards with chips on the surface or missing paint because moisture could get under those spots and remove more surface. You just have to be careful. My best advice is to practice on your base cards first so you can push those to the limits before you work on your key cards. I appreciate you asking✌🏼

      No, but that’s a good question. Any sort of chemical reaction like that would take place right away not something that happens overtime. The biggest things that hurt Cards over time are sunlight and moisture. You remove my products it’s not something you leave on like a cover-up or a patch.
