Yo to add onto your owl den idea I feel like it would be cool if it was a fake wall that you can walk through since they are masters of illusions which would make sense and maybe it gives say an owl themed weapon from a chest after clearing out the den (as a chance ofc we love grinding!)

Shrine of order though i 100% believe was an unhealthy addition to the game. overly making it so you NEED to do it to keep up with other players is dumb and eliminating a lotta the reason to have build diversity when there is just now a consistant way to get every good talent and not care. Dreadwyrm is needing a rework though, so is primadon. Both of them should at least have an instance to prevent server lag because god you can feel it when they spawn which ironically tells players "someones doing prima go kill him". And dreadwyrm's instance can be cool with him dragging the player and 3 of his buddies around under the water.
Voidwalkers, players and lag The Owls aren't only useless they are janky and broken if they use the move that raises you up in the air there is a 70% chance they just fling themselves into void.

Honestly I feel like deepwoken is starting to hit a point where all the content and updates are starting to funnel into this one specific way that I cant think of how to put it in words, its like the content is starting to become one specific niche sorta, when deepwoken wasnt released I was excited to see all the stuff you can do, and now im just kinda disappointed, I wanna FEEL how my stats influence my build, I enjoy alot how if ai go gale and agility I truly feel like im running around as a guy who uses the wind to zip around people, I wanted to see people with high strength builds go around being able to maybe climb walls by digging thier hands into it, or seeing them fight with their fists or slamming people around, people with high charisma being really good support and being able to do shit with just convincing words, there was saltchemist for int like there is jetstriker for agility but they just keep getting nerfed into the ground instead of reworking saltchemist or even giving other builds a way to chase trackstar builds, like if I get 100 agility and go all speed talents no average pvp build should be able to reasonably catch me without them having to be smart or sac a mantra slot to try to catch me down whilst my tradeoff is that going 100 agility just simply isnt going to be as strong in combat as a pvp build. TL:DR Deepwoken is starting to feel more like those anime slop games that try to copy it and any build diversity is nerfed to the ground just so every other build is basically equal to it and you are left off worse than them because you spent all those pointing going that niche (ie saltchemist and jetstriker/trackstar nerf)
its probably for the best that there arent that many bells (for balance reasons, and adding more combat bells lowers the diversity of other abilities they can add)

I hate auto tracking teleporting moves. Like literally people don’t need to aim anymore. It’s a combo into a teleporting move that has typically jank timing and it was cool when there were like 2 moves with it but now there’s like every other move has it.
A few things I disagree on, personally. 1. Owls are stat-checkable at a higher power, yes, but they're meant to be difficult and imposing. Yes, sometimes, they give you an option to speak, but from my experience, they simply attack on sight when you get too close. Owls aren't the rarest thing, either. They're more common in the depths, but do spawn in the overworld. You might just not be looking out for the feathers. 2. The Voidsea is literally, practically, and for all intensive purposes, an out-of-bounds area. The only reason it might have for existing, other than being out-of-bounds, is for 'rare' events, such as the Moon's Eyrie, or the Dread Serpent. Would you rather have an invisible wall? But yes, Kaido should be reworked. It's simply too easy to cheese him in that area behind the Monkey's Paw. also yes they need to rework dye packets, instead of simply adding the color value or whatever they do it should just be replaced somewhat, the pilgrammed dye system is SO ASS!!!

Alright, instead of conquest here are some good ideas that would make this peakwoken again. Gale heavy weapon, maybe a great axe weapon that you get from Duke and Ethiron. Ironsing light weapon, maybe a dagger to bring back the dagger being somewhat decent. Golem boss that you find at Upper Erisia that is a rare chance to climb out from mountains and just slaughter freshies, and would maybe be a mid-game bossfight. Pleetsky boss in layer 3 (when it comes out), and when you beat him you can have him as an NPC you talk to for some special path for flame or smth, like Rennala from Elden Ring. Someone to stop me from yapping CENTRAL LUMINENT!

garbage talents arent what cause diversity, new viable ones are, theres no diversity because theres no alternatives with upsides and drawbacks in comparison to each other
@@Reaconteur having new viable talents wont do anything for the lack of diversity in meta builds the fact is that everyone feels the need to use a meta build, or just be greened by people who do use meta builds. alternatives would add little diversity temporarily. I feel like once the community around those meta builds come to a conclusion that one talent is better than the other, than the other will become obsolete. just adding more talents is a temporary fix that would take a lot of effort due to balancing and other factors, and really just isnt worth the time and effort, when the devs could be doing other things, such as reworking dread serpent

In Deepwoken, one thing I really wish they did was make the towns feel more alive. Adding NPC civilians who react to things, like running away when they see a criminal, would make faction territories feel less empty. Right now, it just feels lifeless when you go into those areas. Another thing is, while it’s fine that they keep adding new weapons, I’m honestly tired of it being the main focus. They should be concentrating on the bigger things they promised, like conquest. We’ve been waiting, and it keeps getting delayed, and we still have no idea when it’s coming. It would’ve been better if they waited to announce it until they had an official date, because they’ve really killed the hype at this point.
Actually, the owl has a spawn in lordsgrove now making it pretty much impossible to get to greathive without aggroing owl. (unless you're using the fountain tp)
could've sworn that's been there for a bajillion years, but even if you aggro it after someone else triggers the spawn, it's super easy to outrun them and deaggro. I did it with 0 agility at power 8 and no mantras so it might be a skill issue if you're dying to it
tbh most takes in this video are not that good but the kaido take is not that bad imo, though i dont think it should be humanoid but still a monster. Luckily a Kaido rework is coming (from what I've heard) and I hope its not some sort of boss that you just cheese.
Tbh the owls den actually sounds hard you climb all the way to the top of a tree and a entire nest of owls and when you beat most owls through twist and turns you run into the alpha owl just like a king thersher let this idea get noticed 🙏
btw, about the owls, what if it gave you a special combat log where if you try to use the log out button they *know* and the text is replaced with something menacing, they laugh at you, and then beat the hell out of you.
My favourite part about deepwoken is when I’m about to shrine and I have to burn 3 levels to get overflowing dam or some other talent. Then I realise once the build is finished that I can’t equip my weapon. 🌞
Owl's nest is actually an awesome idea for an area. Could be a bit deepforest-themed like in rogue lineage where you just have a dark, thickly veiled forest. Hope we get to see something like that, W reacooker.
Honestly they should have breeding grounds for every mob, it would make more sense and better for prog then just running around waiting for events to spawn.

Also make it so you can buy dye packets from the barber for like 25 notes. It doesn't have to be (and it shouldn't be) an end game item or something that costs like 300 notes in a merchant ship with a super low chance to spawn.
For armor customization they should allow you to color in layers like color 1 is for cracks in the armor 2 is for the armor 3 is for something like parts that glow or outlines and if you want designs they could add Minecraft armor trims for the entire armor or add textures next to color, like you can make the cracks, armor or glowing parts have any Roblox texture.
I literally been suggesting they make the library in upper erisia a owl spawn zone because of this exact reason since verse 1 and got downvoted to oblivion
The whole reason they got rid of skulls is for new players to get better at pvp and to make it less annoying by waiting a whole day to get skulls back which would make it more fun on encounters in overworld, You said most people in overworld are either pve builds or new pwr 20's that dont know what fainting is. the new chime system helps solve that problem making it so most know how to pvp. sure people might stay in chime but people who do that are js super sweat your average player doesnt do that, if that was the case, servers would have like 3 players each

dyepacks (literally a rare-chance from.. merchants and layer 2....) are literally godawful, their not worth how rare they are, and most equipment you can't fully dye properly, which makes the colors look super muted and gross when you try to dye anything that isn't a solid color.
Tbh Owls are kinda Cool, and also if a player spawned one used the dialogue and walked away the owl will stand still and attack ne next player who gets close.

Bro why is no one and i mean NO ONE talking about reputations and how flawed they are? You get like 6 handicaps with a faction by having negative rep while being their "hero" only makes you get called friend or by your name. This us honestly so dumb, why do i get haunted by special troops of a faction (contractors, black divers, authority caps etc) for having bad rep but get no support if someone that has one pixel above neutral rep is attacking me when i have good rep? Also you cant use the inns, you cant talk to most npcs, you get attacked on sight, you get prioritized no matter what during a fight, all this when you have slightly negative reputation. There really is no point other than some quests to having a reputation above neutral in any faction
To be fair a skill tree would streamline progression by a lot and fix some of the problems with buildmaking. The cards are a novel idea, but theres no point to poker when everyone can get a royal flush every round, is there?

They should rework void walker. Its such a slow progression because you cant force people to run 1s. most of the time they log or they just arnt in an area that can be voidwalked. its so frustrating to have to server hop to void walk.
the fact that someone's first thing to do is leave when they see/hear a voidwalker is a negative. it doesn't need to be reworked to force people to run 1s, it should be reworked to where its actually fun for the victim of the voidwalking, and not make it to where the first thing people do when a voidwalker appears is stop playing the game

Yeah no average pvp build can catch you without having some sort of mobility or tracking. They literally can't, you move too fast and climb too high.

In Deepwoken, one thing I really wish they did was make the towns feel more alive. Adding NPC civilians who react to things, like running away when they see a criminal, would make faction territories feel less empty. Right now, it just feels lifeless when you go into those areas.
Another thing is, while it’s fine that they keep adding new weapons, I’m honestly tired of it being the main focus. They should be concentrating on the bigger things they promised, like conquest. We’ve been waiting, and it keeps getting delayed, and we still have no idea when it’s coming. It would’ve been better if they waited to announce it until they had an official date, because they’ve really killed the hype at this point.
Reaconteur, you should try Deepbound or just depths farming in general, owls give so much exp so I learnt them from that when I was depths farming.

Actually, the owl has a spawn in lordsgrove now making it pretty much impossible to get to greathive without aggroing owl. (unless you're using the fountain tp)

could've sworn that's been there for a bajillion years, but even if you aggro it after someone else triggers the spawn, it's super easy to outrun them and deaggro. I did it with 0 agility at power 8 and no mantras so it might be a skill issue if you're dying to it

My favourite part about deepwoken is when I’m about to shrine and I have to burn 3 levels to get overflowing dam or some other talent. Then I realise once the build is finished that I can’t equip my weapon. 🌞

For armor customization they should allow you to color in layers like color 1 is for cracks in the armor 2 is for the armor 3 is for something like parts that glow or outlines and if you want designs they could add Minecraft armor trims for the entire armor or add textures next to color, like you can make the cracks, armor or glowing parts have any Roblox texture.

The whole reason they got rid of skulls is for new players to get better at pvp and to make it less annoying by waiting a whole day to get skulls back which would make it more fun on encounters in overworld, You said most people in overworld are either pve builds or new pwr 20's that dont know what fainting is. the new chime system helps solve that problem making it so most know how to pvp. sure people might stay in chime but people who do that are js super sweat your average player doesnt do that, if that was the case, servers would have like 3 players each

dyepacks (literally a rare-chance from.. merchants and layer 2....) are literally godawful, their not worth how rare they are, and most equipment you can't fully dye properly, which makes the colors look super muted and gross when you try to dye anything that isn't a solid color.

Bro why is no one and i mean NO ONE talking about reputations and how flawed they are? You get like 6 handicaps with a faction by having negative rep while being their "hero" only makes you get called friend or by your name. This us honestly so dumb, why do i get haunted by special troops of a faction (contractors, black divers, authority caps etc) for having bad rep but get no support if someone that has one pixel above neutral rep is attacking me when i have good rep? Also you cant use the inns, you cant talk to most npcs, you get attacked on sight, you get prioritized no matter what during a fight, all this when you have slightly negative reputation. There really is no point other than some quests to having a reputation above neutral in any faction
To be fair a skill tree would streamline progression by a lot and fix some of the problems with buildmaking.
The cards are a novel idea, but theres no point to poker when everyone can get a royal flush every round, is there?

Deepowls have a guaranteed setspawn in front of one of the statues in that area after entering the gate that bars you from that hive great tree hub

They should rework void walker. Its such a slow progression because you cant force people to run 1s. most of the time they log or they just arnt in an area that can be voidwalked. its so frustrating to have to server hop to void walk.
the fact that someone's first thing to do is leave when they see/hear a voidwalker is a negative. it doesn't need to be reworked to force people to run 1s, it should be reworked to where its actually fun for the victim of the voidwalking, and not make it to where the first thing people do when a voidwalker appears is stop playing the game
