I opt for swimming in those post-drinking situations. Even if I take it slow and just walk down one way and swim back, I’ll do that for 30-40 minutes. Ends up being more exercise than you think, you never feel beaten down, and it makes me feel more awake.
Every time you upload a video, I know the day gonna be good! So much positive energy and motivation. Been following you since the beginning and watched all of your videos. Keep it up man. Swoldier for life🔥💪🏻
Hey Steve been following you for years, it’s funny to find that we’re both trying to a half marathon while weight training. What program are you following for the half marathon?
Havent watched steve in a while. Interesting ro see him switch it up. Nick Bare would ptobably be a good templatw to follow. Good luck steve, running sucks but the challenge is awesome.
Yeah, it's the first time I've seen someone do a treadmill run, then a workout, but as you said, your quad dominate and to finish it off with sprints, anyway, it reminds me of some of CT Fletcher's old workout youtube clips. 👏
I 100% lose leg muscle when I run more. Cant smash them 2x per week I guess. For that reason I prefer hikes vs runs as you can maintain the muscle size more easily
You should do ice baths or cold tubs for recovery bro, my legs take a beating during the week with legs 2x a week and running 5x a week. I’ve been doing a hot shower after my workout followed with a ice bath and my legs feel so much better now recovery wise than before!!
You’ll feel less beat up on terrain. Road running is tough on the body. Alcohol-dehydrating. Stay dry while you train and continuously sip a non-alcoholic beverage to keep tissues supple. Also, yoga. The perfect way to stretch and strengthen without lifting heavy and building excess muscle. Strength training should be limited to dynamic movement that focuses on the core. Fuel on the run! It will pay off in a longer race. Pay attention to shoe-induced aches and pains and get your gait evaluated if that’s a problem. Hills=speed. Good luck!!!!!
Heck yeah brother! Keep after it! When’s the collab with Nick Bare?

Check out the Pose running method. It can help with the back pain
