Nice work. In the future I will have this setup. I have the blazer brake setup for my Elco and 1982 manual brakes S10 wheel cylinders on the back for now. 2 thumbs up for for you!
I did the conversion although I had a hung caliper, but did u have to get a new proportioning valve, if so did u use the one off the blazer or buy a new one or did the stock one work.
so when you took that out did you put new gears in it or kept the blazer gears it? and do you have to modify anything else on it besides what you talked about
They are the same, same 4 bolt pattern as the dust covers are also interchangeable/same part number RWD or 4WD. (Responding so others aren't misinformed) the actual bracket ACDelco Part Number: 88935985
seanquadew not the rearend you have to measure the distance of the overall rearend backing plate to backing plate left to right and you have to get all your box Chevy mounts welded on to the new rear as well if your using the complete rearend
@26zonabox A bro do you have access to the backing plates to the s10 blazer 98-05? I need them asap I'll purchase.. I have c5 calipers the bracket front spindle hubs just need the rear set up... I have all 4 calipers and bracket to the calipers....
I got all the parts from a 00 Jimmy and I'm bout to start, is it required to get longer studs for ur wheels to be put on or will the stock ones work, I'm just running 15" wheels and also what if I don't use the brake, I didn't get da pads?
Semaj Falls no but depending on the rims you run and how high you car is lifted depends i have clearance if you have air shocks you may need to they sell them on ebay

Hi there I have everything for rear disc brakes for my 86 Monte SS but it came from 4WD. What rotors are you using
just going to do this on a 79 malibu. thanks for the video showing what it takes
Good look on the info much Love to you and yours
Will this work with 13inch rims? 🤔🤔
That is a big negatory ghost rider
Yes it will work with D 13×7
99 Newer need 16r wheels to fit hand brake calipers
Do u use the same g boddy Axles Or spindles
Had same question
I did two of those already 86 regal and 79 elco u use same g body axles
Good shit bro I pulled the same parts today , blazers muck easier to find than camaro, firebird and T/A
Depends on where you are. Disc brake setup from the fbody are more common than the blazer for me.
I did the conversion although I had a hung caliper, but did u have to get a new proportioning valve, if so did u use the one off the blazer or buy a new one or did the stock one work.
The one off of a 79 trans am works.
Bought a new one but I used the brake booster off a 90 fleetwood brougham
so what exactly do you need to do this? just the rear hub and caliper?
Would that work for a 86 cutlass you think
thanks great job on your descriptions.
hey how's it going I had a quick question can you flip the calipers the opposite way or no if so do you switch brackets on opposite sides
kevo s just the calipers you can flip them as long as the bleeder valves are pointing up
kevo s you can if you put the face back you have to flip sides the brackets fit the same
Did you have too change the proportioning valve
I got a 1984 GMC Caballero I'm looking to do a brake upgrade on does it matter on the Blazer if it's a two-door or a four-door
No aslong as its 2 wheel drive I believe
Do you have extra jimmy rear brake line mounting bracket? I'll pay
Email me what u talking bout 26zonabox@gmail.com
so when you took that out did you put new gears in it or kept the blazer gears it? and do you have to modify anything else on it besides what you talked about
I used only the brake parts off the blazer that was my og rear end. 678-719-2112 text me
Nice set up bro
Thanks
Can I use the axles out of the 2000 if I’m going with the 28 spline carrier and posi unit in the 7 1/2 rearend?
Nope two totally different widths of axles.
Do you know if the 4x4 backing plates are the same as 2x4?
Find a 2WD, no they are not
They are the same, same 4 bolt pattern as the dust covers are also interchangeable/same part number RWD or 4WD. (Responding so others aren't misinformed) the actual bracket ACDelco Part Number: 88935985
Did you have to extend your lugs
no
what all do I have to take off the blazer for this conversion? Thanks ahead of time
678-719-2112
Good looking I'm like you long as I got rear disc everybody hipt to the camaro conversation so there taxing or snatching them up
can 2004 Chevy Blazer backing plate work for a box Chevy
hi, so you did not have to change the axles and those rotors are 16 inches right
kevo s i didnt change rotors 15 inch rims fit no problem
I wonder will the Blazer rearend work with box Caprices?
seanquadew not the rearend you have to measure the distance of the overall rearend backing plate to backing plate left to right and you have to get all your box Chevy mounts welded on to the new rear as well if your using the complete rearend
No. Only the brake conversion parts.
okay thanks I'll try it will be getting that steering shaft from you soon
kevo s no doubt

MrVigor47 no need to extend you gotta get it all or buy new pads from the store
I gotcha I was referring to da ebrake, I didn't get da pad, so can I use this without it, I don't plan on using a ebrake.
MrVigor47 without ebrake with mine also
Thx bruh
Did this turn out good ?
Turned out great
Would that work on the 1968 short bed pickup C10
What did you have to drill on with a titanium bit?
Brooks Built Fitness the bolt holes to make the holes bigger to use the factory bolts from the blazer
Do you really need the backing plate for a caprice
Where did he say caprice? These parts are from a S-Series Blazer.
@@therealjpoe23 I didn’t say he was talking about a caprice I was asking about one 🤔
The caprice has a 10 bolt housing, and that's what he's working on. So if you have a 10 bolt rear-end, this conversion works if you follow this video.
@@therealjpoe23 man I been figured it out and did it this was 6 months ago
@@cyrusent right on🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Im feeling what you doing i did the same thang
What axle can swap into my 1968 impala
Can I use my stock axles or do I have to use the stock blazer axles?
Do you know if I Can get these off an 98 blazer??thanks
I dont think so
97-00 Blazer definitely, possibly up to 02.
98-05 S-Series Blazer & 98-02 fbody
How did you hook up the e brake line?
I fabricated the lines at the hook up point in the center
How much will you charge to do 86 regal rearend conversion
does the shock hit the caliper?
Nope
Nice video man. I just did the front blazer swap on my car. What about doing this swap on a 8.5 gbody rear end? Would it work?
Hi did you end up doing the rear blazer disc upgrade
Works on GM 10/12 bolt housings
@@ghavencorps yep
Yes
what axle
did you have to relocate you shocks
Semaj Falls no but depending on the rims you run and how high you car is lifted depends i have clearance if you have air shocks you may need to they sell them on ebay
ok i appreciate that i have air shocks and 26s
Semaj Falls you may be ok its a sweet setup
ok thanks bro im going to pullapart my next day off to find front and rear
Will s10 blazer rear brakes work on an 87 caprice?
Yep. The caprice has a 10 bolt GM diff housing right?
Can this work on a 62 impala
Whats a caliber?
hey,can you message me some more info on this conversion.
blake lineberry 6787192112
I have a 1994 Silverado I want to put disc brakes on what rear end will swap i being looking everywhere an talking to people I'm lost
Wild Boi try a 94-96 roadmaster or caprice for your 5x5 bolt pattern
Will 4wd rear work also or are they to deep??
835YT only a 2wd set up will work for the front and rear
Are the backing plates the same for the 2wd and 4wd ?
if you want more in 6787192112 i also sell the steering shaft upgrades for the gbody and s10 and k10 truck and cars
26zonabox do they fit the 15" stock rim n tires
Blazer brakes are better, no fabrication work for for e brake. But everyone needs bragging rights so they used Camaro
Do you have to relocate the shock
For the camaro calipers yes unless you use front calipers on the rear with no e brake
