      Don't live life with any regrets. If you want to go outside and play tag, go for it. If you want to have a paper airplane contest, why not? If you want to sit criss-cross apple sauce and play patty cake, what's stopping you?
      After all, as the wise teenagers of this generation once said:
      You Only Live Once

    • @SyntheticCharmVA
      @SyntheticCharmVA 8 років тому +32

      Life's hard, and you can feel like a fool in doing the things you want. but you know, the best things in life are pretty foolish, but who cares. better to be a fool than a cold stone of a person, though, I'll admit, I still have my big sis making sure I never grow cold, we're such dorks, already in our 20s and still playing spontanious pattycae and this stupid silly stuff we did as kids, and it's helped me to easier find, and go towards my dreams. Thing is man, you need to not care about people, chances are those you concern your image with, generally won't be a big part of your life, and you'll never deal with them again, so you just go and be you, and then the people who like you, can stay, and those that don't can feck off.
      I am a massive dork, who voice acts, sings mary tunes when I go for a walk, and Loves every minute of my life now.
      All I can say is, from having this experience. Don't care about strangers, care about you, your friends, your family, and be yourself, cliche I know, but you know what, there's a reason. The worlds kinda fucked up and a hard place that will keep beating on you, you'll never beat it back, that's not a thing you can do, but you can be a badass and brush off its blows, you have fun man.

      @takawipeters 8 років тому +3

      +Entomoligist the original, you mean the French version. I actually haven't read it, don't know French. The two English translations are mildly nuanced in that the first version from the 40s has more formal and in my opinion more eloquent language. I recommend the 70s movie/musical. It starts Bob Fosse as the 🐍 and Gene Wilder as the fox! Is reflective of the 40s book more so than the latest version. I'm done now, sorry for my rant.

    I love the overall message of this movie. Truly the writers and animators crafted a masterpiece that dared to man me feel like I was talking to my younger self and telling him that its not what u do, it's how u live that matters. We live in a time where we are forgetting the beauty of getting older and allowing ourselves to still dream.

    I’m here again after watching TXT’s interpretation of The Little Prince through their latest concept trailer release Minisode 3 and it got me teared up. I’m 20s and I got my couple years of my last teenage ruined by covid. I still feel like I’m in those years sometimes but then reality hit how I am now faced with more obligations to follow, workloads to do and bills to pay. I no longer remember how it feels to have a dream, each days passed by in monotone. Nothing sparks in me and I feel like I came to lose myself in order to blend in with the society I live in. Watching both this and TXT’s clip made me realize what I forgot, it made me realize that I didn’t have to go back or run away from reality. Having dreams doesn’t restrict to youngsters only, no matter how old you are, no matter how ridiculous you think you dreams might be they are are things you want, things you desire, things that keeps you sane and alive. I love this movie so much, I have read the book numerous times when I was a child and now I’m going to re read it again 🤍

      +The master Gggrip msr I'm trying to clarify the type of animation. Not all forms of animation is the same, there's hand drawn 2D, CGI, Stop Motion, Flash, Etc. What I'm trying to say is that you to be specific to the type of animation your. People aren't going to look at toy story and think it's stop motion.

      +The master Gggrip msr Well this movie is half CGI and half stop motion.

      All of the above are used in this movie. Hand drawn, cgi, and stop motion are used. It's put together in a really artistic way. Probably the most artisticly diverse movie I've seen in years

    I watch this movie like 3-5 times when I was in elementary, and I don't get what's the story all about. Until I watch it recently; I'm in college now. After watching the little prince, I totally get it and too many realization afterwards. There is also a scene in this movie that I got teary eyed. Swear, this movie is not for kids. But, for grown ups.

    In Italy there was a tv show for kids called 'Il Principe Piccolo' and I used to watch it every night when it was on. After it finished I always used to feel weird because the story seemed so sad. Now that I'm older I realize the themes of the show, and I truly love and appreciate it. It hit home for some reason, and comforted me as well. I don't know if the show still shows episodes but I wish I could see them again... there are a few versions of youtube but I loved the one in italy the most...
