@@eddiejr540 the ibanez code is very similar. Fairly cut and dry once you figure one of them out.
I never got or understood the Charvel love and all that for many years. Till I put my hands on a lefty HSS in all black with a Floyd, I finally understood the power of it. The back of the neck was smooth, it was light, and sounded like a dream. So beautiful, these are great man!
To me they've always had the best colors and finishes next to Aristides
@@depracated yeah I’ll admit that side of things. I guess I just saw it as a Fender rip off for years. I should also state I would have bought it but I’m not a good guitar player

A cool feature of the Prashant Aswani signature is the shedders cut but in a strat style not the DK style 👌

I usually don't like gold hardware on guitars, but that white one with the gold Floyd and hardware is very nice !
... and the price of all these Charvel is very competitive !
Bought my first Charvel last month after 43 years of playing. San Dimas h/s/s hardtail with amazing features (Duncan JB, (2) SSL-6, locking tuners, thumb wheel adjuster). This sucker came in at over 8.5 lbs, which makes it extra special!
yeh agree, that sunburst is awesome. got a real 70s vibe about it. and in the context of the ESP price hikes, these are great value.
Imagine putting Texas special single coils into that charvel to get SRV style style guitar with a FR

I just got a So Cal fixed bridge in primer grey. Its AWESOME and a nice change from all my FR bridge guitars.
I grabbed one of the Candy Apple Red hardtails right after Sweetwater got them in stock and I still just cannot put the thing down. I absolutely LOVE it.

FR stands for Floyd Rose as aposed to HT hard tail and M is for the Maple fretbaord as apposed to E for Ebony
I can attest that the PA28 is a killer HH strat. Nitro finish, locking Wilkinson saddles and Wilkinson bridge that is also on the $4000 Pete Thorn Suhr signature, and unfinished neck are fire specs.
Red and black is my favorite color scheme. You and I could never hang out. J/K.

It is dramatic how different a 3 tone sunburst is with a black pick guard than with a light color

Charvels always seems to have one thing that doesnt tick the box for me and its annoying as i love the look. wish the so cal had heel cut, but then the dk ones have it but dont have the floyd. itd just be nice to have a heel cut with a floyd from charvel

Sad to see they have went to Floyd Rose 1000 instead of the Originals they used to have standard. Still nice for $1100 bucks it smokes a $1100 Fender any day.

The grainy finish on the pickguard of the white and gold model kind of ruins it for me. A solid gold mirror pickguard would have been perfect, in my opinion of course.
Also not a fan of Sunburst on strats and HUGE fan of Candy Apple Red, to each his own lol
FR E is ebony neck, FR M is maple.

so just more garbage form fender.. you d think they would make at least one model with a deck mounted Floyd, HH whatever, maybe some ebony? something, like the 2011 San Dimas Pro Mod Made in Japan .. good grief they want you to pay unholy money fora custom shop just to get whats right
