Idk about you, but every time I see Tom Holland as Link on Twitter, it's always making fun of it and not an actual choice. That said, your casting choices for more unknown actors is always something I love coming from you.
Now I would like to see who you would cast as the rest of the Zelda characters.

I think Walker Scobell from The Adam Project would be perfect!
He is currently playing Percy Jackson so I can definitely see him as Link

I feel like Jacob Tremblay could play Link. After all, he’s in the right age and can play someone who is adventurous, brave, and has the capability to grow and understand.

You should recast the Jumanji characters like Alan, Sarah, Judy, Peter, and Carol Bentley if they ever decide if they wanna do a Jumanji Reboot for Netflix since that’s what Netflix is doing now these days!
I’m still surprised that the latest sequel hasn’t come out yet considering how it ended on a cliffhanger. It’ll be interesting to see them look for Judy and Peter’s help in the final movie, maybe even bring back Kirstin Dunst and Bradley Pierce.

Unfortunately with Mason Thimes, he’s also probably going to be unavailable, due to being preoccupied by playing Hiccup for the live action How to Train Your Dragon series (wish I could never understand why they’re trying to make a Series to begin with….).

If he wasn't already set to play Aang in the upcoming live action Avatar: The Last Airbender series, I think Gordon Cormier could've also been a good candidate. I also saw people suggest Jeremy Allan White from The Bear, which I've started watching recently and while he does a fantastic job in the show, I think Jeremy would've been a perfect slightly older Link if the movie were announced five to ten years earlier.
Link is more iconic than Percy
I would like someone who could maybe play a quiet reserved link. Tom Holland and Walker Scobell are both good at playing extremely talkative characters like Spider-Man and Percy Jackson.
I'd keep the 'Merican accent 'cuz it'd fit Link's common background perfectly. Maybe midwestern. But talkin' casually, like, "Yo, wassup?" In a Japanese dub, I'd go w/ Shimono Hiro, but talkin' like punkish Yankii, like, "Namen te ja nee ze."

The two castings I saw before this were Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Anya Taylor-Joy and the other pair was Morgan Davies and Hunter Schafer. Davies was just in the Live-Action One Piece as Koby.

Dang we are REALLY implanting a lot of traits and emotions to a character that literally isn't a character at all. Link, is as cardboard cutout with the eyes cut out, through which the player stares out into the world of hyrule. I've NEVER understood this push that 'Link is a defined character'... he's super not. As Shigeru Miyamoto once said "He's supposed to be the "link" between the player and the game." And that's ALL he is.
So realistically ANY performance is acceptable. They could have a cock sure, ultra competent swordsman link who direly needs to learn some humility... or they could have a naive and bright eyed dork... the only thing he MUST be is courageous.
It NEVER ceases to amaze me the silly masses who think Link has any definitive character traits (which is realistically an argument I've only seen crop up as counter to the ol 'should we be allowed to choose links gender' discussion). He's not a character, he's YOU, thus why he never speaks, but other characters act like he does speak, the assumption being that Link said whatever YOU would have said in the moment.
ANYONE can play Link, that's sort of the point.
I 100% disagree with you. Maybe in the older games but TP Link and more specifically BOTW Link are clearly defined characters, especially when you read Zelda's diary and what she says about Link.

Also, I was impressed with Christian Convery in Cocaine Bear and I think he’d be a good Young Link-unless he ages out soon of course
Christian at this point was born in the same year as Walker, but Scobell was born in January, Convery just celebrated his birthday recently, in November, so he has a 10-month delay compared to Walker in aging out, but yeah, Walker’s Already Percy Jackson the same way as Logan Lerman is to old Percy and Daniel Radcliffe is to Harry Potter, and IMO it’s either Christian Convery, Dylan Hoffman, Michael Banks Repeta, Christopher Convery, one of the Crovetti twins, or most likely, a newcomer child actor.
But one thing’s for sure: Link ain’t certainly going to be played by Thomas Kretschmann, that German hunk is over 60 now and is much better suited for playing a communist East German Volksarmee General.

Nah, honestly I'd rather have Julian Crouser as my top 3. I mean he looks exactly like the character and in my mind where I watched him in "Deadly Promises," he just brings so much innocence and also that charming nature to him. And also there's no wrong with choosing any actors who has less experience, cuz we can get unknown actors to play the big characters as well so that they can have more experience.

Personally, no matter who they choose to play him, Link shouldn't have any dialogue and shouldn't speak, like in the games. This could actually be great creatively as the writers would have to find ways to convey information about the character visually without relying on heavy exposition through forced dialogue.
