- Yes, NASA has SWAT Teams. Officially known as Emergency Response Teams (ERT), NASA SWAT Teams protect the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida.

Bob Fg inside the actual base it’s military but the outer perimeter and surrounding area private contractors are used. They could be some special military unit but as far as we know they’re government contractors

theyre not swat teams per se dude, theyre ERT. Think about it, NASA facilities hold extremely valuable technology, technical documents, servers, missile/rocket fuels, nuclear material and so on. This stuff needs protection, such facilities are prime targets for terrorists given everything thats on site. Theres no conspiracy here ffs, its literally pure common sense

Great topic! Here is a recommendation: Do a video on the various versions of DoD Police. Each military service has their own federal, Civilian Police force. The Pentagon, DIA, NSA and even DLA have their own versions as well.

That was cool! You should do a video on Nuclear regulatory police. I found out about them back on 2002. Basically that protect nuclear hazardous materials when they are moving to location to location. Worth a look.

According to a GAO report, they've never had to respond to an incident.
Usually nasa sights do get unwanted trespassers but they're already detered by the gates basic armed guards. There's just not anything worth planning for an attack on a nasa sights. What are criminals going to do with a space shuttle? What criminals in the black market would pay for stolen space shuttle schematics? Nasa sites are far away from heavy population so terrorists don't really seem interested in attacking a nasa building when they could just attack a downtown city to get their ideology point across. But Nasa has their swat because it's better to have them and not need them than to not have them and not need them. Although i can see a use for them when space travel become more common, with an influx of civilian and military personnel, security will be a main concern and their security team will increase

Hey, would love to see a Federal Air Marshalls video either in a or solo vid whenever you can! When I got out I actually considered joining them. Seems like it had alot of perks like travel all over the 🌍 & VERY strict marksmanship standards to join. I got the application which was insanely long but then OIF was brewing and I volunteered to go back on Active duty (non obligated since I already put my time in & was discharged to IRR) at my local reserve detachment unit. The Unit was activated so fast I didn't even get a chance to finish page 1 of the questionnaire lol 😆...so I always wondered what a post 9/11 F.A.M life would be like as a sky cop!

Army National Guard/Reserve SF group and how they might differ from their active-duty counterparts. Even though I'm sure it might not be much of a difference since they probably have to be AGR.

No difference, same pipeline. It’s not unheard of that they deploy more than active duty counterparts either. FNG Academy did a video about that.

I don't know if ISRO (indian space research organisation) have their own internal security service but , the CISF (central industrial security force) provides security for ISRO installations.
CISF is a paramilitary force organised under the ministry of Home affairs of the indian government
