Winch it out. I do it all the time. I like the technical stuff like speed lines and redirect pulleys. Just cut a 10 ft length and pull it out to a landing
NICE SESSION... I NOTICE WHEN EVERYBODY SPLITS THE TOP TWO PIECES ARE LARGER THAN THE BOTTOM. IS THERE A REASON FOR DOING THAT APOSED TO QUORTERING THEM EQUALLY??? ALSO, I WAS WONDERING IS IT COMMON PRACTICE TO SHARPIN THE CUTTING WEDGES OR NOT??? THANX FOR THE REAL COOL TUNES AND CONTENT... PEACE...
Nice video today. Your inventory is definitely building nicely from late fall. About how much do you have to sell and how much do you have for yourself? You may need some rules for your new idea lol.
Nice! You remembered to put on the bar! How did you like it compared to not running it? I’m going to be putting mine back on...can’t stand how long it takes without it lol
I have used it before now the problem is remembering to take it out so the rod is protected from the elements lol. I like it seconds make minutes minutes make hours.
@@OutsidewithScheib I got a cheap motorcycle cover from Walmart years ago and it covers the splitter perfectly, even has two built in bungees with hooks that I connect to each other under the belly of the machine 👍🏼
The bigger chunks I use myself or give to my buddies for there backyard camp fires. The smaller kindling pieces I use or just burn up. It’s easier to just rake them on a pile and burn then to sort through to get the good kindling out of it .
Yo Scheib, i know you were asked this before but never saw your response. How did you get the hydraulic wedge on there. Its not on the website. Great videos.
Don, nice splitting! You got me to laugh at the morning wood hahah! Nice tunes incorporated in your video. Stacks are looking great!
That wood splits nice. Don't get that much trash. I havent had that much ash. I get mostly red oak. Great video. Thanks for sharing. Be well.

Hey scheib, nice video!

I like the short stroke they should all come with option
Nice video! Would you guys think most any splitter with auto cycle stop could be modified with a plate like that to do the same thing?

That is what I use a old motor cycle cover works great
Good exercise! Lol 🍺🪵👍🏼🇱🇷
If you modify any splitters that have a clevis screwed onto the cylinder rod you will strip the threads out on the clevis or the rod, or both.
What do you do with your slivers and shards? Sell as kindling? I have a massive pile. Not sure the best way to deal with the little bits

Moring wood for those who burn all night.
Is that a skull on the forward and back lever?
You bet your britches!
Did the short stroke bar come with your splitter?
Yes it did
Getting ready for next year 15000 bundles brother in law retired at 55 and wants to bundle skies the limit now
Wouldn’t you want to sell the small pieces for kindling? Money is money😉
Thought about it but I use it for myself
It's all good 👍 long as it doesn't go to waste
