2:01 Dipper - "I can't fight! I've never been in a fight before!". *Cuts to a few episodes earlier, when he knocked out the Multibear by himself.* Me - "Y-yeah... sure...".
There are quite a few of these ''continuity mistakes'' in Gravity Falls, due to Disney swapping around a lot of the episodes' order for stupid reasons like ''too many dark ones in a row'' or ''we want the winter themed one to air closer to Christmas'' and so on.
Best underrated joke of the episode: Rumble: Now I must fight the world's greatest Fight Fighters! Take me to the Soviet Union! Dipper: That's gonna be tough...for a number of reasons.
This is ONE of my fav episodes. Being a video gamer when I was younger, I could certainly appreciate all of the video game references. The COMBO one made me laugh so much. And I loved the end credits; I wouldn't mind a Gravity Falls beat 'em up or platformer game. Awesome reaction as always. Keep the cosplay coming if you can. I enjoy all of the hard work you put into these videos. #Dweeber
Like most of us are saying, never second guess whether something is either a reference or a detail that's going to be used later! One of the best things about Gravity Falls is that all the subtle nods and references are worked into the world rather than the references being tacked on for cheap fanservice! See you on your next reaction.
If you like Contra, check out Gunstar Heroes. It's the run-and-gun game made by ex-Konami staff who were feeling cramped by the Contra formula, so they quit and started their own company. Gunstar Heroes turned out so good, the remaining Konami staff had to turn around and crib ideas from it when making Contra: Hard Corps.
"This street has really dangerous litter" :D I loved this episode, also liked the videogame references they made. My favourite is Pac-Man too, do you know the song Pac-Man fever? It's from Buckner and Garcia and I absolutely love it, always got it playing in my head, so catchy :DD
My favorite arcade game was Galaga. I would deliberately let one of my ships get captured so I could free it from the enemy's control and double-team the remaining bad guys. It was always a dangerous play but it was worth it.
I'm loving this double feature idea. Also, watch episodes 6 and 7 again. Pay attention to the parts about Wendy. Promise not to hate yourself for not noticing cool things that we all should've noticed.
My laundry mat had that Ms Pacman/Galaga combo arcade and I was a beast at Galaga. Also the budget movie theater we used to have had street fighter II I was good at that. Anyway good episode, great reaction, and I look forward to the next one.
My favorite arcade game would be Dance Dance Revolution and its clones. I always find them fun to play and they give me a fun workout too in the process.
At the risk of dating myself I was a beast at the original Mortal Kombat. We had a machine at the movie theater arcade and I would stay there for hours crushing people. Good times.
My favorite arcade game was a pinball machine at the local YMCA called the Williams "FunHouse." It used to be free to play, but then they changed it so that it cost money. Then, I stopped playing it because I was 10 years old and I didn't have an allowance. Here is the Wikipedia page for the machine: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FunHouse_(pinball)
I remember when i was a little boy i went to the Laundromat with my mama and they had Ms.pacman& Donkey Kong & paper boy but paper boy got replaced with Dig Dug and it became one of my favorites Lol we went Almost every Saturday because the dryers was free until 5:00 or 3:00 i can't remember it all OMG 😂😂😂😁😁😝
It's a tough one for me, but I think it would have to be the original Star Wars Battle Pods, with the huge domed screens and surround sound. First time I played in one of those, I was just totally blown away and loved it. Was saddened when they got changed to flat screen cabs =(
I know this has nothing to do with the episode but I just saw you in a commercial over here in Texas. Congratulations and hope it leads to more work in the future.
Favorite acrade game would definately have to the TMNT fighting game, it was such a blast with friends. Talking about video games, have you seen Ready Player One? It is such a treat for video game, anime, and movie geeks its great!
Since I'm as dedicated to video games as my name and avatar hopefully implies, I find it comforting to hear that someone I follow loves them too! My favortie arcade game is Street Fighter 2. And my favorite video game series is the Legend of Zelda. Which is your favorite series, Alycia?
This is one of my favorite episodes, it just parodies so many games I love, and mine are a tie between the Simpsons and TMNT turtles in time as my favorite arcade games, one quick question for you is...Girl! Why you acking so Cray Cray?
I can’t really decide what my favorite arcade game would be. It’s kinda a tie between Bubbles, Space Invaders, and Joust. I liked Space Invaders and Joust because of their increasing difficulty but I liked Bubbles mostly because of the sound effects. I also really like Tetris but I didn’t feel it was worth mentioning because who the H doesn’t like Tetris? A harder question for me would’ve been favorite old school game. I would’ve just listed every game I played in the 90’s because I love them all equally! Btw in case someone hasn’t heard yet... the original Spyro trilogy remake has been confirmed by Activision! So excited!
Back in the day, my favorite arcade game was Galaga! Ever since then, I've moved on to arcade shooters like House of the Dead and Time Crisis. By the way, gamer girls are definite waifu material!
in turns of a classic arcade type... there was a TMNT beat-em up in Chukie Cheez in alabama I would go to YEARS ago. but If I had to go with something truly nostalgic to watch there was a King kong vs other huge monsters and a marvel vs capcom early edition in a Hamburger heaven near birmingham. the arcades aren't there anymore :( but it's still fun to go there.
What my phrase in a game would be when you want to pick me: Sure...ya pick me....i guess.... Hey what are you waiting for? Pick me! Ugh what’s the point.....in this digital world picking a certain character doesn’t mean anything I mean most of our attacks are basically the exact same
Lesson learned: Don't go picking on Robbie. Worst-Case Scenario: Deadpool hears Robbie getting beaten up, thinks it's his friend and bartender Weasel for some reason, breaks through temporal-dimensional barriers and slaughters everyone in Gravity Falls. EDIT: TellTale Games The Walking Dead is my favorite game ever!
Too many favorites. Galaga, Golden Axe II, Altered Beast, Tekken 2, Guerrilla Wars, the TMNT Arcade Game...but more than anything, I just miss arcades.
I know you probably won't see this comment, but at about twelve seconds into this video, one of those arcade games has a familiar design; a design seen on a playing card in The Time Traveler's Pig, the negative twelve dollar bill in Irrational Treasure, and in the opening of every episode.
I've actually never played an arcade game. Either I'm too young for that or my home province just never had an arcade at all. The latter is a very real possibility; we're notoriously behind the times here, cars were illegal until 1920 on the grounds that they scared horses. So it's entirely possible that no one near my home province got it in their head to set up an arcade until the things were already long obsolete.
I suppose there were a couple of things that could be considered 'arcade' machines at my local movie theater when I was young, but there were so few of them and they were taken out so long ago that I don't even remember what they were. I do know none of them were the 'popular' arcade machines like Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros. or Pac-Man. Come to think of it, I don't think any of them were even video games at all; what little I do remember includes some kind of electronic punching bag that I could never reach, an air hockey table, and one or two pinball machines. The air hockey was my favorite. Also, as for the obsolescence of arcades, I think they probably make enough money still to pay for the maintenance of preexisting examples, but not enough money to build a new one.
Loving your reactions for this show. Please ignore the connections to RIck and Morty as they will spoil a lot of this shows story. Enjoy it as it comes and then check them out. Keep rocking you awesome dweeb.

Ingrid Mari I don't really notice
that is exactly what i was thinking
He also fought gnomes and alive wax people. I’m pretty sure he can fight Robbie.
@@Viridyana Whats the actual order?
0:12 OH MY GOD I JUST SPOTTED OUR FAVORITE DORITo LOL
Alycia's face as the 8 bit Gravity Falls theme comes on is great.
Best underrated joke of the episode:
Rumble: Now I must fight the world's greatest Fight Fighters! Take me to the Soviet Union!
Dipper: That's gonna be tough...for a number of reasons.
This Gravity Falls reaction is in my top 3 favorites of all time! :)
This is ONE of my fav episodes. Being a video gamer when I was younger, I could certainly appreciate all of the video game references. The COMBO one made me laugh so much. Two episodes? My dreams came true!
Like most of us are saying, never second guess whether something is either a reference or a detail that's going to be used later! Bubble Bobble is my favourite arcade game. Something addictively fun about it and the music and characters are charming.
Your videos are my favorite things to watch after school.

Favorite arcade game would probably be Contra really enjoyed that game. Pac-Man is a very strong 2nd though so much fun was had back then
If you like Contra, check out Gunstar Heroes. It's the run-and-gun game made by ex-Konami staff who were feeling cramped by the Contra formula, so they quit and started their own company. If that gravity falls game was real, I would for sure play.
"This street has really dangerous litter" :D I loved this episode, also liked the videogame references they made. My favourite is Pac-Man too, do you know the song Pac-Man fever? It's from Buckner and Garcia and I absolutely love it, always got it playing in my head, so catchy :DD

Two eps in one day, awesome!
I'm loving this double feature idea. Also, watch episodes 6 and 7 again. Pay attention to the parts about Wendy. Promise not to hate yourself for not noticing cool things that we all should've noticed.
FUN FACT OF THE DAY: The creator of gravity falls said that if mabel isn't on screen she's nitting next weeks sweater.
My laundry mat had that Ms Pacman/Galaga combo arcade and I was a beast at Galaga. Also the budget movie theater we used to have had street fighter II I was good at that. Anyway good episode, great reaction, and I look forward to the next one.
My favorite one is Metal Slug, lots of tokens and hours were spent, but it was all worth it. Had so much fun back then
Awesome dude! The show keeps on getting better every episode from here on out
Galaga, followed by Tempest, then Asteroids, then the "Tron" multi-game cabinet
My favorite arcade game would be Dance Dance Revolution and its clones. I always find them fun to play and they give me a fun workout too in the process.

My favorite arcade game is Bosconian or Galaga.
Okay, that was my favourite one!
Oh, and favourite arcade game? Space Invaders.

Missile command, had lots of fun with that one
At the risk of dating myself I was a beast at the original Mortal Kombat. We had a machine at the movie theater arcade and I would stay there for hours crushing people. Good times.

I had one at our movie theater too but I was the one that always lost.
Thank you for 2 episodes😁
Now that you're a quarter of the way through the series, what path do you anticipate it taking?
Favorite arcade game: probably Hydro Thunder.

3:16: That writing never comes back in the show. Good luck solving that mystery, XD
I know this has nothing to do with the episode but I just saw you in a commercial over here in Texas. Congratulations and hope it leads to more work in the future.
I loved this one because my fav arcade game was Super Street Fighter 2. I used to play it at Pizza hut before we got food in the 90s.
I forgot what it was called, but it was a racing game where you sit on a motorbike.
My favorite Arcade games are Contra and Metal Slug. I used to spend hours after school playing it with my friends lol
Killer Instinct probably one of my favorites
Favorite acrade game would definately have to the TMNT fighting game, it was such a blast with friends. Talking about video games, have you seen Ready Player One? It is such a treat for video game, anime, and movie geeks its great!
Since I'm as dedicated to video games as my name and avatar hopefully implies, I find it comforting to hear that someone I follow loves them too! My favortie arcade game is Street Fighter 2. And my favorite video game series is the Legend of Zelda. Which is your favorite series, Alycia?
Favorite arcade video game, eh? I can only narrow it down to four...Qbert, Crystal Castles, Tempest and Gauntlet.
This is one of my favorite episodes, it just parodies so many games I love, and mine are a tie between the Simpsons and TMNT turtles in time as my favorite arcade games, one quick question for you is...Girl! Why you acking so Cray Cray?
My farvorite arcade game was the Simpsons arcade brawler. Bart was my fighter with his skateboard :D
So excited!
My favorite arcade game is Dance Dance Revolution! The game that tricks people into exercising!😆😉
My favorite was "The House of the Dead III", beat a half of it with my friend, but then we ran out of coins... :(
Silent Scope EX was good too.
Back in the day, my favorite arcade game was Galaga! Ever since then, I've moved on to arcade shooters like House of the Dead and Time Crisis. By the way, gamer girls are definite waifu material!
WHOA WAIT!!! TWO WHOLE REACTIONS?!?! NANDATOOOOOOO?!?!?!?!?!!
I've always been a big fan of Pacman, space invaders, and though I've never played it before but it looks very fun, Donkey Kong
in turns of a classic arcade type... there was a TMNT beat-em up in Chukie Cheez in alabama I would go to YEARS ago. but If I had to go with something truly nostalgic to watch there was a King kong vs other huge monsters and a marvel vs capcom early edition in a Hamburger heaven near birmingham. the arcades aren't there anymore :( but it's still fun to go there.
I used to spend a lot of time playing Space Invaders, but one of my favorites to play with friends was Crash (Bandicoot) Team Racing!
What my phrase in a game would be when you want to pick me:
Sure...ya pick me....i guess....
Hey what are you waiting for? Pick me!
Ugh what’s the point.....in this digital world picking a certain character doesn’t mean anything
I mean most of our attacks are basically the exact same

Lesson learned: Don't go picking on Robbie.
Worst-Case Scenario: Deadpool hears Robbie getting beaten up, thinks it's his friend and bartender Weasel for some reason, breaks through temporal-dimensional barriers and slaughters everyone in Gravity Falls.
EDIT: TellTale Games The Walking Dead is my favorite game ever!
Fav arcade games - TMNT, Bionic Commando and Guantlet
Ladybug. Probably is the first arcade i ever played as well.
im gonna make a guess that pixel art animations of the video game characters is the same artist that did scott pilgrim vs the world game.
Too many favorites. Galaga, Golden Axe II, Altered Beast, Tekken 2, Guerrilla Wars, the TMNT Arcade Game...but more than anything, I just miss arcades.
In this video youlook like the physical representation of joy if there was one
My favorite would probably be Donkey Kong.. either that or Pacman.
My fav arcade game is street fighter...i still hold 3rd place in my area..
I know you probably won't see this comment, but at about twelve seconds into this video, one of those arcade games has a familiar design; a design seen on a playing card in The Time Traveler's Pig, the negative twelve dollar bill in Irrational Treasure, and in the opening of every episode.

Many would argue they still aren’t obsolete lol
Not even at a movie theater or anything like that?
Even Walmart has some arcade machines

An arcade opened up in my town.
My favorite arcade game? Probably either Rampage, The Simpsons Arcade Game, or one of the Marvel vs. Capcom ones... depending on my mood.

Loving your reactions for this show. Please ignore the connections to RIck and Morty as they will spoil a lot of this shows story. Enjoy it as it comes and then check them out. Keep rocking you awesome dweeb.
You ever thought of doing a few video game playthroughs?
I would have to say my favorite arcade game is Galaga!
Dig dug was a fave.
