The answer to "did he or didn't he" is in the story soos says. Reggie was the one who got in a fight with a teen but Soos then says him and reggie were just talking about it. So chances are he probably didn't get killed.
I'm pretty sure Wendy and Robbie are around 16. It only goes to show how insecure Robbie is that he feels threatened by a twelve-year-old to get in the way of his relationship. 16:28 Yup, that's Wendy's family. If you recall, she showed a picture of her three brothers during Double Dipper and this appearance pretty much confirms it. Anyway, I love this episode. The pixel art is amazing, the jokes are great and I find myself very amused at Rumble's dramatic and "badly" written dialogue ("You killed my father AGAIN", "Winners don't lose!"). Also, all these video game references are a treat! And they don't stop at the actual episode, as the cipher for this one reads: Sorry Dipper, but your Wendy is in another castle.
More trivia: Paul Robertson did the pixel animation for this episode which is why it's utterly amazing. Nort (for Tron) After you've finished the whole series (because the commentary talks about EVERYTHING) you might want to try to check out the creator commentaries. They are phenomenal.

This is definitely a neat episode, and if it has an underlying message I'd say it would be don't be afraid to face your fears if that makes sense. I love how Soos' idea of being in a game is to unscrew the back of the machine and literally go inside of it (which he admitted later was a poorly thought out plan). This isn't one of my favorite episodes despite being a video game fan since birth but it's still a solid one nonetheless. As for Waddles yes he is a mainstay from here on out. A shame about the copyright but there are dozens of reactions on youtube that don't have that problem for those who want to hear it.
What i love about stans b plot in this episode is that his fear that hes facing is not relevant to his backstory. Like, theres a fandom wank trope in which every fear a character has is related to their tragic backstory. While that can be fun, i appreciate that stans fear of heights is so normal.
dipper being all "I can't fight, never fought before" despite having fought and beaten an intelligent mutant bear much larger (and presumably stronger) than robbie just a couple of episodes ago without all that much difficulty. Granted he had a spear but if he were to get a staff he could probably pull it off based on the bear

Its funny that you mention that youd like a gravity falls game in the vein of the scott pilgrim one, because the person who did all the pixel animation for this episode (and the later giffany episode) also did the same for the scott pilgrim game!
No if i remember correctly in the commentary Alex says that Robbie is too big of a wimp to actually fight Dipper and in this episode he just wanted to scare him that’s why he backed off at the end
Honestly I feel like Dipper sucks meoe than Robhue in this situation. He's chasing after a hopeless cause. From the first time we hear Robbie mentioned, Dipper has only negative things to say about him. And yeah obviously Robhie isn't blame free either, considering he was willing to fight a 12 year old, and his condescending attitude. Though, I feel like the hate he got form Dipper and Waddles in The Time Traveler's Pig was wholly undeserved. From Robbie's perspective, Dipper is just a random kid who is trying to get lovey with Wendy.
Unfortunately I can only get one episode out a week at the moment. Between my job, streaming, life in general, and doing all the recording and editing myself I’m spread a bit thin haha. But mostly expect Gravity Falls videos every Friday!
