I always liked/hated Gideon. The way he uses his sweet/innocent personality to manipulate people to sympathize with him, while hiding his devilish side, is always fun/stressful to watch. Just seeing the psychological trauma from the mother makes me wonder what he's done to her. Just wait Alycia, this Gideon rivalry will continue....

yeah, the road trip is pretty bad. I was talking about the pacing of the entire series though. Everything major is in season 2 so the blend of slice of life and story feels off to me. Season 1 feels really sparse, and season 2 feels kind of cramped.
Mabel really annoyed me this episode with her non stop bullying of Dipper over her very slight height. it's not like Dipper bullies her because he's smarter then her, he doesn't spend every episode telling her she's an idiot and he's a genius. she got the slightest bit ahead of him and instantly used it to hurt him...
Wait... DOES SOOS KNOW ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BRAINS WITH DIFFERENT GENDERS?! wow. I mean, I guess he would be one to learn about it probably by accident and not mis-gender people, but he can spot the difference from not up close. And from a non-aerial veiw. Wait, how can you tell from a non-aerial veiw? This breaks my immersion.
