Beautiful! What a trip! I am officially one of your 'arm chair' tourists! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for watching! Now I just have to edit the next one!
What a great trip......Lovely, adorable shots of you and the girls!....you look very sweet and happy together ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks so much! 😊 it was a pretty good day!
Soothing music and nice video
Thank you so much! That is what I was going for! 😀
Lots of really neat places, thanks for sharing Duane. That museum and the little old Town would be cool to visit.
It really is I hope you can visit them sometime! The 395 is a really beautiful road
Real nice scenery and kind of like the Wild Wild West 21st century Duayne. Glad all 3 of you have good fun there especially Debbie and your pretty daughter! She has matured a bit and also loved her Cross earrings! Missed your morning shows bro with your coffee jug.. But I know Debbie has got your back with the good coffee's behind the scenes👍👍
Yeah I really miss the morning show myself. It’s weird how things work out.
Such amazing / nice scenery & what a Neat Museum ! I'll show my husband, I know he'll really enjoy it : ) Filming the way you do is a style I really like [ie] no really loud music, some close ups that are nicely balanced w/ the panoramic / 'the big picture' -> always makes me realize 'just how small we are as human beings' compared to the 'vastness' / mountains etc ... Appreciate you sharing as we will never experience / see these places so it's a real Blessing to Us to see where you go - Thanks for taking us along, looking forward to viewing more of your other videos you've already filmed + future ones & yes, Yummy Restaurant ! I have subbed : ) HAGW
Hi Cindy thanks so much for the support and watching the videos! It really is a neat museum and I hope you guys can check it out sometime!
@@dustyroaddestinations No problem, Thank 'you' for you/gf/daughter in documenting your travels : )
Making Memories !!! Awesomeness!! Happy 4th Duane !!
Same to you Dan - and it was a pretty great trip!

Looks like your having a great time 😃 I thought you might get into a cowboy outfit (white of course 😉)
For the 📷 have a wonderful time Duane you deserve it 👏
Mick from Ireland
LOL thank you so much Mick! That would have been funny with the outfit! Hope you're doing good Mick!
Looked like a very fun, and interesting trip, thank you for sharing Duane.
It was Seth and thanks so much for watching!
Beautiful!
Thanks Anthony! 👍🏻
Nice share. We haven't seen you around in awhile. Hope all is well. Nice to see you again. Let's stay connected. We went up there in early April. So lovely🙏👍like 48--I want your daughters ice cream, yummy✌
In must have been beautiful in April - I'll check if you did a video during that time. I just happened to have UA-cam recommend one from you. If you get a chance you should check out that bar and grill - it was pretty good and interesting to say the least!
Man, we as North Americans live on such a beautifully vast and diverse continent! Thanks guys, for taking us along on yet another epic American road trip. Love and cheers from your Canadian neighbours!🙂👍
We really do Jen! I was close to Canada - probably the closest I've ever been. Maybe one of these days!
Cool road trip, Duane. The Lone Pine museum is awesome and the ghost town looked really interesting. I went to ghost towns in NM when I lived there. Thank you for sharing your trip with us.
Absolutely and thank you for watching! Bodie was really interesting and nothing like I expected. Someone the other day said to me they heard it was "touristy" and I suppose looking at it like a state or national park yeah it falls in line with that. But it was interesting nonetheless. I wish me had more time and were as rushed. As it was we ended up ending our day 4 hours later than we expected...
Giddy up!
It was amazing how many movies were filmed in that area - had heard about it but never looked into it. So a LOT of GIDDY UP!
Very cool Duane! Thanks for "taking us along". 👍🙏
Absolutely and thank you so much for watching!
Lots of fun was had making this video =)
Yeah it was a good trip and long day - we didn't finally get to our first stopping point until midnight - but was good nonetheless!!!
Excited to watch this!
We’ll let me know what you think when you can watch it! 😀
@@dustyroaddestinations very fun video! Looks like the Wild West from the movies! The scenery is beautiful!
Man it was REALLY beautiful and it was great going that way. I wish I just had more time to dwell in a few of those areas. I will definitely have to revisit them when I have more time!
Nice video.
Thanks so much really appreciate it! I'm still looking at those small trailers and other solutions.
Thanks, Duane. Lovely too see such scenery. Very different from here in Australia. Love your daughter's hair, btw!
Thanks so much - definitely on the creative side! It is super beautiful in that area!
Where are you in Australia @A Quiet Place? Our Aussie contingent is growing!!!
@@nannamoo3122 Eastern outskirts of Melbourne. Currently going well on the Covid front, thankfully!
Great group we have found. Saved our daughter the past nearly 6 years, from making too many mistakes. I am in Townsville. We too have been lucky with COVID. Stay safe. 💐
Looks so dope and calming
Thanks so much! Check out my others I tried to make them calming as well! 👍🏻
Love!🤠
Thanks so much! 🏕
🤗❤👍🤠🏕🛣🚘Glad you and yours had such a great road trip. Thinking of the movie Tombstone. My dad was a big Gene Autry fan, among others. Think he would have loved this kind of trip.
Oh if he was into those old westerns he'd have LOVED it!
wow, im just now seeing this. What a long road trip, going all the way up to redding shasta lake. awhile back i used to live up in mount shasta. hell of a drive man! 9 hours?? sheesh!! looked like fun though
Well with all the stops it was a LONG trip. I think we rolled into Redding at like 1am. I wish we could have made that leg of the trip a couple of days so we could have seen more. But we were trying to get to Washington in two days. Obtw we didn’t. Beautiful area though. But Shasta was depressing with the lake being so low. It’s even worse now though.
you inspired us to book our weekend at Dismals Canyon w this, thank you!
Outstanding!!! If you can share a photo after your trip!!! Would love to see it!!!
@@dustyroaddestinations will do if we can! it's a private enterprise & the website had a lot of legal jargon about photos
That's a bummer but I understand!
Awesome trip!! Thanks for sharing!! Would love to be able to see the scenery first hand and try the soft serve ice cream 😁
Thanks so much! Yeah I was surprised because typical soft serve is kinda boring.
@@dustyroaddestinations it all looked and sounded yummy 😋
We thought about doing it again on the way back but they were closed that day :-(
@@dustyroaddestinations what a bummer, you just can’t beat good food
Very true.
Love it up there! I fish mammoth and bishop a few times a year. But I have always wanted to go to bodi
It was pretty cool - not what I expected but cool nonetheless. I was thinking it was less managed but kind of glad that it is so it is in really great condition. I think I'm heading back to Mammoth in the next few weeks to meet up with a friend.
@@dustyroaddestinations have fun Duane! Mammoth and the whole 395 is a magical place. I have driven past that museum countless times and never thought to stop. But I am a huge history buff. And thanks to you showing me all the fun stuff inside, I’m going to have to check it out. Love your videos Duane. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
This is the farthest I've ever gone up the 395. Last year was pretty far too. On the way back we made it to Lassen Volcanic National Part - didn't even know it was there. We just didn't have a ton of time to really explore all the different places we got to go. I hope you get out and make some new videos yourself!
hows the truck running?
The truck is running great! I’m looking forward to taking it out in the mountains and venturing some places I wouldn’t before!
