Wow, this was a great video! Most people just stop at "go research the best ideas!" but no one ever explains HOW to understand that a product is the best, or WHY its the best. Great work, looking forward to more content!
Hi Jesse- Toward the end you mentioned there would be a second video that talks about how you create your listing and do SEO. I have searched your channel, and don't see that video listed as you mentioned. I really like the content, so I am looking forward to this second video!

Wow. Love your content- my only question is are you actually making the shirts you’re selling cause all the shops you showed I think are making thier shirts? will this work as well say using printful which we sell at a higher price ? I’d love to hear your thoughts on all this. Thanks!😁
@@coachingkickstart Hello! I use printify which allows me to have a lower unit cost than printful’s high prices! Currently selling around 50 shirts per day :) hope this helps!
@@jesseteaches Yes that helps alot! I'd love to see a video on how you price your items? and what profit margin is suitable for you? Also, do you believe in offering FREE shipping? do you put a discount on your shirts?
It's really curious that 3 of those t shirt shops had pics with the same pair of black sandles in the pic. Made me wonder if that's a blank stock photo from the shirt manufacturer that you can digitally add your design to - and if so, what program do you use to do that?
Hey man, great video! When will the next about listing new items and Seo come? I'm currently selling svg files and just past 100 sales since I started in January. Shop is picking up
Hey! Thank a bunch! It will be out in 1-2 weeks! I have had a lot pop up in the past month that has really delayed me, but I have lots of content on the way! p.s, congratulations on the 100+ sales!!!!! 🥳
Would like to know what you think about selling instant download printables on Etsy. Would this be a category you would think about getting into or do you have a shop in this category?
Good morning Jesse! I just ran across your channel this morning :) I have watched about 80 bazillion videos trying to learn and understand Etsy SEO, choosing categories, etc and so far, yours has given me better insight than all the others! I do have one question tho that NO ONE has addressed---and maybe this is just a stupid question-- but I hear about so many ppl having more then one Etsy shop open. Is that the norm for those who sell in more than one category? Should an Etsy shop limit itself to one type of item? I have one shop open--brand new shop, just getting started---but I have diff items in diff categories. Is that good? Bad? I am trying to improve; thanks for any advice!
Hello Melody! I am so glad my content has added value for you, I will have more out so soon! :) in regards to your question about different categories, here is my main response: The reason I have 4 different shops is to keep each of my shops centered around “one customer”, allowing for more cross sales and much more retention for time spent inside my shop. It gets tricky when you have items that are not as cohesive, but if your branding is right you can absolutely do it! (Example, Etsy shop: ModParty) huge shop, different categories of items, BUT GREAT BRANDING. So it can be done however, it is easier to separate out different item categories into different shops. But, they do not have to be built around only one item, they can be built around one category (which is how I do it). A good example of this is the category of drink ware. built with different items such as coffee mugs, wine tumblers, travel mugs, and wine glasses. Hopefully this helps :)
Hi Jesse, thank you for make such amazing video. My Question is, if I build some of different Shop on Etsy, Am I should build different type of shop or build some shop but with the same type (same product), what should I choose?
How important would you say is it to niche down on etsy? Or is a broad category like t-shirt enough? The reason I ask, most people don't seem to visit the store. People just seem to search and buy based on individual listings on Etsy.
Hello! Great question! Every niche has different sales volume overall for sure. So two pieces of criteria I utilize before choosing a category to sell in is: Are there a good amount of sales happening in that category? Then also, are there many different items within that category that are selling well. (This gives you a understanding of width and depth of your category, and in this video I go over the process for determining those two pieces of criteria.) However, to answer your question I think understanding your audience to the max is much more important than to niche down to a smaller market. Hope this helps!
Hey, my question is where all the artist are getting their mock up pics for them all to be in this (nice) style? Do they come with listing via printify, or?

Great video. Every second was filled with intention.
Great video Jesse, Loved it. Just one question, when the next video will be out?
So 'listed' doesn't refer to the date it was added as a product to the store?
Does this mean branding templates are low in demand because the max I’ve seen in reviews is near 800 reviews?
Excellent tips, thank you!
Awesome video!! Thanks. Waiting for the other videos!
