- Yosemite - an American story unlike any other. Follow us through the national park from its high country to its waterfalls, its towering sequoia groves to its valley meadows.
When ready, browse vacation packages to Yosemite National Park: www.expedia.com/Yosemite-Nati...
#YosemiteNationalPark sits on the western slopes of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains. Most visitors spend their #vacation in Yosemite Valley, which despite being only 7 miles long and 1 mile wide, packs in more jaw-dropping scenery than just about any other place on Earth.
#Visit Tunnel View and stand before a panorama that’s reduced generations of visitors to silence. The Yosemite Valley ring road follows the banks of the Merced River, which shifts in character as it thunders from the valley walls, before gently winding across the valley floor. The ring road is dotted with trailheads that lead to 800 miles of hiking trails.
Drive along Tioga Road, one of the USA’s most scenic highways. Fill your lungs with alpine air at Olmsted Point, refresh yourself by the waters of Tenaya Lake, then spend the day at Tuolumne Meadow, the traditional summer hunting grounds of the Ahwaneechee.
For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

I come from the densely populated Hong Kong and I went to Yosemite last May. It was spectacular and stunning, a view I can never forget... It is the best place of anywhere I went to. I swear I will come again.
kcirtapw glad you liked it. I live about a five hours drive away from Yosemite and go there almost every summer & winter. It’s awesome. The winter is sometimes more beautiful.
I'm from New Zealand and Yosemite is the best scenery I've ever seen! Can't wait to go back..
Watch the missing 411 videos by David you won't want to go here or other places no more lol. Know how many ppl in past 50+ years came up missing here n never found or if found strange events that occurred lol
I worked an lived in Yosemite for 30 years on and off
@@jamesware5100 what's yr point ? Yes you didn't go missing but obviously many ppl have.. an I'm sure you knew about them as you worked there off n on for 30 years
Yosemite marks your soul forever. It's the most beautiful place I've seen in my life; I can't wait to go back with my family.
I had the same feeling after first seeing Yosemite, I actually hadn't seen any photos of it before getting there. Later in my trip I also visited Zion, which was as breathtaking as Yosemite (maybe even a bit more, for me). So, I recommend visiting Zion national park too, I'm sure you'll love the views from there!
gowdaflow I loved it ... but Yellowstone is also an amazing place to visit and do not forget about the Grand Canyon ... lots to see 😉
Im going today. Pretty mad cause i wanted to stay home and play fortnite
Try Kings Canyon. It is similar to Yosemite but with less crowds.
Gowdaflow I feel the same, was there 16 years ago and it’s calling my heart to return.
I feel fortunate to live 50 minutes away from this amazing place.
Honestly, this is the best Travel video ever made. excellent narrating

Honestly, Yes...
California is sooo rich in nature, Yosemite, Death valley , Sequioa National Park, Lake Tahoe
Native land , land back
one thing about this place which i like is no garbage, no plastic covers, no artificial things , we see pure nature.
You know what they say...America is a Great Picturesque country located between LA & NY...Much Love from Ethiopia...Don't destroy this beautiful land
I live really close to this national park, and I have been there so many time. Every time, it took my breath away! That's how amazing it is. It is so beautiful.
You are sooo lucky, we envy you
@@ChilloutLibrary don't..🥰..let make it happen..i haven't been in there yet..we still have time to do it..🥰🥰🥰
It so coooool and fantastic😍❤️

Hey epi pi, how rude can you be. Dont destroy someone's dream and happiness
Angel creations i hope u had a grand time. Im sure you will
epi pi shut up you bitter loser , someone always tries to ruin someone’s happiness 😒
I got goosebumps throughout the video. that's how good this video is
I got goosebumps thinking about the super volcano.
Julio Peinado the one in Yellowstone?
Jason To g
It's incredible
The video is great, but it honestly doesn't do Yosemite justice; it has to be seen in person. It's a place so magnificent that it can only be described through poetry.
What a breathtaking experience! Absolutely astonishing place, i really want to visit Yosemite and the whole Sierra Nevada. Best regards, from Brazil with love! 🇧🇷 🇺🇲
Yosemite parques
Who else is watching this in the pandemic and can't wait to travel again
Mee-!! Soon god wills it friend safe travels and blessings.
This is why we spent our honeymoon here.... 36 years ago...❤️💙
Where mom and dad had their honeymoon. Where I was conceived. Their favorite hike was bridal veil falls. Their marriage was blessed1 Fifty wonderful years together
I dare say this is better than the discovery channel or National geographic.
Of course it is, brother!
Beautiful in different ways..🥰🥰
I have no doubt in admitting this is the best youtube video i have ever seen.
Thank you for watching!
When I visited I cried. Literally sobbed... like no place on earth. I live in Switzerland now, and as beautiful as it is, I've never seen a place so vast and majestic as Yosemite.
But sadly our selfish species are destroying such beauty.
i live California and have visited Yosemite but always wondered if the Alps were more beautiful. Which do you prefer?
Its so sad so many from California haven't seen this majestic place. I'm taking my mom and sister for their first time this year. They've been living here for more than 20 years!
Exactly, too many people are caught up with their life that they don't take a moment to stop and explore the beauties of mother nature
Michael Tran I’ve never had the chance to go here and I live in Southern California , I’m not too far 😢
Whyy??
My Beautiful California 😍❤️ Wouldn’t change you for anything in the world 🌎. Super proud to be a Californian .
Might want to change those Communist politics out there
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE ON EARTH, WE LOVE YOU CALIFORNIA.
For those that never been, yes it's more beautiful then the video, or any video for that matter. The one thing that struck me is how small you'll feel and how peaceful it is. But there is a downside, it does get extremely crowded and that crowds does take away from the experience. Best time to go is early spring to early summer. Less crowd, you'll get the full effects of the falls then you would in autumn, the air is fresher, gas and lodging is also cheaper.
Hi, how would you rate driving from Livermore to Yosemite safe or tough? Which route (freeway) would you suggest to take for first timers. And any other tips if you can give. Thank you.
@@keepontravelling Not OP but live in Danville and have been to Yosemite multiple times. The drive is fairly safe and easy except when you get close to the valley and the roads can get fairly windy. The best route for a beginner is simply to use Google maps or other app to get to the tunnel view entrance. When you enter the valley though the tunnel there is an amazing view of the valley.
I love going to Yosemite!
Tucker Barth Yosemite to the Bay Area is horrifying
@@cameronsantiago3155 Then you best not go. Seriously? Unless you mean SF traffic or crowded Yosemite summer roads and even those are not "horrifying".
I recently left California to move to Colorado, and though i am near the rocky mountains; I have always wanted to go to yosemite. What a rich history it has.
The Rocky Mountains another one i heard its a jewel❤🇺🇸
Rocky mountain is a great place. I got the reference from Job Denver's song 'Rocky Mountain High'. You are so lucky. I'm just a half a hobe away though.😊
How beautiful is Gods creation sheeeshh
Awww my beloved California! Even though I’m away but my heart is in Cali!
just came back for 3 days camping in Yosemite.
John Muir was right, it is easier to feel than to explain.
How's the permit system work.
Honestly though
Wow. I don't even know you and I wish I was you. Good for you! Or should I say, good for us?
I just came back from Yosemite!! There are no words to describe the beauty of this national treasure!❤
How long did you stay at Yosemite?
Yosemite was the closest thing I ever had to a religious experience. Paying the fee and driving into the upper valleys green fields with the snow packed mountains in the distance, small ponds and flowing rivers on each side was something videos can’t capture.
There is a god, he is alive, In him we live, and we survive 🎶
Just returned to the UK after a visit to Yosemite on our road trip. Such an inspiring place to visit. Simply breathtaking. Having watched this video we now need to go back in spring!
I've watched this video for the nth time and it's always a magic! I can listen to the narrator talk all day, his voice is so perfect. I've also watched some of the travel guides which was narrated by him. I wish I can see his handsome face one day. Thank you, Expedia!
how this does not have 1 trillion likes?
Very beatiful place. USA is a blessed country.
"It was like lying in a great solemn cathedral, far vaster and more beautiful than any built by the hand of man."
gave me chills..
I've always wanted to visit Yosemite due to its breathtaking vistas. Now, listening to the narrator made this place even more inviting. It's a wonderful video!
earthman0x I was just there this past Friday and I have to say it is incredible
@pumps0333 good for you! Wish I could visit this place soon.
There are things that you must experience in person. This national park is so beautiful, I cried the first time I went there.
One of the most amazing experiences you will ever have, is to stand underneath Bridal Veil falls and be surrounded/hit by the mist. The feeling is surreal. It is like 650 feet high and the volume of water is simply amazing. The high country hikes and vistas are also incredible. The Hetch Hetchy Valley is amazing also and a lot less people.
Heaven On Earth 🌏. I live in California all my life & haven’t been to Yosemite. Thank goodness I decided to go next month. I’m really excited, thanks Expedia for this awesome video, way to go! Please keep them coming. I’m a long time subscriber.❤️👍🏽
National Parks are truly treasures
Once you've seen it in person, you carry it the rest of you life! It's incredible, takes your breath away..
It’s kind of beautiful that this comment section is filled with so many different languages. People all around the world are able to enjoy the same music, type wholesome comments, and have their days improved while lifting up others too
Arguably the best thing ever captured behind the lens of the best thing ever captured with the eyes.
The green is so green.
Yosemite Park is a fantastic place. Next visit to the US I will plan a trip there. Thanks Expedia for this awesome video.
Just Breathtaking.................

Yosemite National park is the place I am going to visit. One of few I am jealous of the America outstanding beauty. And the video is super awesome. Tears in my eyes
Brings tears to my eyes just from the video.
Every clip of this video....I’ve gone through words can’t explain how beautiful this place is. It just takes away all your problems and your stress away. I go every year.

I watch Expedia's videos quite a lot and I have to admit that this one is the best!

I backpacked Yosemite 3 times in the late 70's . Climbed Half Dome on one visit. That was the most beautiful place I have been. I was 28 at the time.I will be 63 in April. After seeing this video I am putting Yosemite on my bucket list. I live in Va. now so i must re visit.
hey, i worked in yosemite for bookoo years but i transplanted to north carolina..asheville
This video almost made me tear up, that's how amazing the quality of this video is and the stunning scenery they managed to capture to perfection......Add to that the great narrator with a nice commentary story and beautiful music/sound choice and you have a masterpiece. Fantastic work Expedia!

loved that place was a paradise.
One of the best places I have ever been and hope to go back one day
Truly an American jewel!

I washed my spirit clean from this video.
I feel so honored to say I was there😭
just got back from there, most beautiful place I've ever seen.
I've been to about 20 of our National Parks, Yosemite is my favorite so far!
It's inspiring and inviting video absolutelly. Actually my breath is taking away any time we hike the Rocky Mountains in Alberta (Canada) as we go every summer. We are going pretty soon to Jasper one more time to see the glaciers one of the most beautiful places in the Rocky Mountains.
@@somosricardoynora9892 Yoho, Banff, Kootenay, and Jasper are very high on my bucket list. Western North America is so incredibly beautiful.
You guys and gals nailed this video and the essence of Yosemite! It truly is a magical placed filled with beauty no matter the direction you choose to look. I was in Yosemite recently, but couldn't help but watch this video. Will definitely return again for a future visit.
Beautiful video, beautiful narration for such a beautiful place, most beautiful in the world.
This is steven barter's favourite place to visit 💙 he was completely blown away by its beauty .
That's a gorgeous place! USA is so beautiful!

America is so beautiful.
Oh my god, so beautiful.
These videos make me so excited for the future. So much to do and see!
I have to get there one day! The Sequoias brought me to tears while watching this. I know if I visit, I will be hit with an incredible spirtual experience.
Just visited Yosemite for 6 days in June 2k17! Clearly I can't get enough of this place bc I am now watching a UA-cam video again about it. Already missing it. Such a remarkable and unforgettable experience!
I didn't know there are so nice places here.
It was a pleasure to watch .
The USA has some of the most vast and beautiful landscapes in the world. Very underappreciated.
Yes there are many amazing places, just got to take a moment to look around
I love Yosemite my family goes every summer I love it it’s like my home☘️
Awesome video. Very informative. Great job.
Place like heaven...Even just by watching the video was my spirit cleansed.
I love this park! Visited it twice, living in the campgrounds and enjoying the atmosphere. Tioga road is the most beautiful road in the park. I was in October, it was so cold especially at night, but less people than in spring and in summer. I was surprised my friends from California have never been there but I am ready to flight to Yosemite from Russia))
Superb filming. Good narration. I honestly think this is one of the best travel guide videos I've seen on UA-cam. It really makes me want to pack everything up right now and leave to Yosemite.
Came for refreshing my memories of visiting roughly 7,5 years ago. Now I clearly remember and feel the awe again i have felt whilst being there. thanks for the memories!
I visited Yosemite many times, but what I can tell Yosemite is more beautiful than it is shown in the video.. No matter how advanced cameras we get there is something that only human eyes can capture.
P.S On a mission to tour/camp all the NP..
That's rough buddy
ahh..I am relaxed by just watching this video!
I have made 16 trips to Yosemite (I live a few hours away) and have hiked 100+ miles of trails there. This video is very well done!
The #1 Yosemite tip. Get up very early (right when it is getting light, at 5 or 6am ). You will beat the heat, and especially the crowds! Otherwise finding a place to park can be nearly impossible.
Such a beautiful place on earth. Keep Yosemite beautiful. We will get you there!
you know, this is the coolest youtube channel i ever seen in my life

More beautiful memories of my years as a Tour Escort visiting Yosemite every 2 weeks. Such a special place - America the Beautiful is well named with so much splendour. Everyone should visit Yosemite once in their lifetime - I was blessed to have visited regularly for 4 years
Just went there yesterday, such amazing views and a beautiful place!
My school has this thing where in 8th grade, we go to Yosemite for 4-5 days. I’m going this week and I’m so excited, there is going to be possibly a lot of snow this year too, because we are going during the winter, instead of near spring time. 💞
I am really impressed that Expedia put together such a well-rounded video explaining Yosemite so well. I don’t do much traveling, flying or otherwise. but if I find myself I need of a flight Expedia is the first web site I will use thanks to this video they produced or uploaded. it really shows that they care about the user experience more than trying to make a sale. it sole focus I feel was on Yosemite and I’m grateful for this video and company doing this.
It's incredible that a place this beautiful exists...
Hello Expedia, I am doing a story about Horsetail Falls in Yosemite, would you mind if I use some of your video footage as the backdrop to my narration, in return for promoting your channel & video in the credits of my video.
