San Diego is really a nice city to live in. It's actually the second biggest city in California. The nice thing about it is that it has the convenience of a large city but the friendliness of a small town.

My hubby was a career Navy man and we spent 4.5 years in SD, loved it, gorgeous scenery, perfect sunny weather, no need for A/C or even a heater in your home, wonderful beaches, I especially remember the Corvette Diner in Balboa Park. Just wish it wasn't so horrendously expensive home-wise.
I used to live in San Diego for 8 years. Now I really missed that place because I moved to Phoenix since 2011 because of the house prices. I missed the beaches and architecture of the city. Very beautiful city.

LIFE EVERYWHERE IS EXPENSIVE...I used to live at Pacific Beach and find it the same price as anywhere ....I miss it. I live at the beach now but Ventura not SD..I prefer SD

I wish I can afford to live there. I am from the SF Bay Area and my family wants to relocate to Las Vegas, NV in a couple years. Even though I wouldn't mind living there temporarily just to save money, I still feel that my heart belongs to California. Hope I could find a better paying job in the future to live in San Diego. It's a nice place.

I like San Diego over L.A.I haven't seen much of San Francisco but on my next trip to Cali I'll be sure to visit San Francisco. The one thing I love about SoCal is the beaches and the cool weather. It beats Houston any day of the week.

I live in SoCal and used to have a beach house in San Diego and I miss it soo bad. But me and family still go there every year in the summer for our family reunion.Can't wait to move here in 2 years!

Being from southeast San Diego, (Euclid ave and Div st) Its amazing how different San Diego can be when you live outside of the privileged areas.. not knocking anyone who lives near the beach but they live in a dream world compared to where i grew up. I know a lot of young kids who never even been to the beach and they grew up here. That being said, San Diego is a beautiful city with beautiful people and very diverse. I recently traveled to San Fransisco and was blown away.. Its on a different level of beauty. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't been.
+Anthonyyb619 I live in the Skyline areas and what you said is true however San Diego on a whole is quite beautiful even the ghetto areas are nicer compared to other cities. I've been to LA and it made me appreciate this fine city i grew up in, definitely something to be proud of.

I was born and raised in San Diego for 25 years I'm still here and don't plan on leaving..why would anybody leave this city? we got the best of everything..girls,food,beer,beaches and vibes..it is a lil expensive but it is well worth it..wouldn't live anywhere else!! #San Diego
You sir are lucky.. I hear a lot of trash talk by other Californians already living there.. but they honestly don't know how good they have it.. sure housing is pricey.. But somebody once said that's the cost of high living.. Better than being in a city that's somewhat affordable AND all the girls are fat, moody, overweight, ugly, psycho, alcoholic- drug abusers & all have kids by the age of 21 lol

That’s crazy. California has great cities. You must have some particular axe to grind. Any neutral loves San Francisco, for example, just as they do San Diego. And L.A. has a lot to love, but you have to go find it.
I live in San Diego and I've been to all these places in the video my favorite place is Sea World. I'm lazy af but when someone tells me we're going to sea world I get up and get ready even if it's cold I like going on the water rides🤣🤣🤣

I'm from Adelaide, which is basically a glorified country town, San Diego had the same vibe, with relaxed lifestyle, amazing beaches & perfect weather... if it weren't for the accents & driving on the right hand side you could easily forget you're not in Australia
San Diego is a happy place to live & be rich or poor. You feel it in nice Ocean & breeze. I'm moving from Ottawa Canada. Big difference. No more winter & harsh Snow's.

i am a san diego native and i can personally attest to the fact that this is the way i spend every day XD
I have toured the entire west coast 101 many times in my big class a motorhome with my mini cooper convertible in tow, I seen every major city, La Jolla, Laguna, Dana Point, Malibu, Santa Barbra, Pismo beach, Carmel, Big Sur, Monterey Bay, Klamath, They are all beautiful and i think the best places in California.

Maple King Miami's kinda grimy.. I guess beauty's in the eye of the beholder, but it doesn't hold a candle to SD imo. Not to mention Florida's weather SUCKS for a number of reasons. Humidity, can't walk 10 steps without sweating, rain every day in the spring/summer, Hurricanes, tornadoes etc. etc. SD gets none of that.
Michael Puckett You make a good point, personally I have lived in San Diego my entire life, and am over the city. I would like to see and experience a new place. Miami seems like a good option, it seems green from all the rain, I really miss rain here in San Diego, our rainy season has not been that rainy. In Miami there are coconut trees everywhere. But there are downsides as you mentioned also no mountains, and lots of mosquitoes.
Regardless of where you prefer living, we have beautiful cities and landscapes here in America.

It’s definitely not, not even close. The water here is is cold for most of the year but we do get about four months (July - November) of relatively warm water. Just surfed in my trunks today and the water was nice.
