- For All Mankind is one of the best TV shows I've watched in a while. As someone who's a fan of alternate history and space this is an absolute perfect storm of awesome. There's currently 3 seasons and 30 hours of content available so you've got quite a bit to watch if this interests you.

Only plot line I didn’t latch to emotionally was Aleida’s. Her immigrant storyline, especially in season 1 didn’t feel authentic. Often sounding too white or using sayings that no real Mexican immigrant would use. The father’s performance didn’t work for me personally. Besides that, awesome show!
I agree the show had a potential to be great but it’s disgusting. A huge potential of an idea that ussr won the moon race - completely wasted. I want to see good sci-fi, and believable one, Małe scientists and brave men (good sci-fi must be believable) not legions of fefails pretending to be males - disgusting scenes of fefails in bars acting like men, disgusting considerations of omo les people. Nobody normal wants to see that disgusting shyte in entertainment!!!

Hot take: the description for the very first episode, ending with "the beginning of an alternate history," gradually gives the writers more and more freedom as to what is and isn't completely realistic as the plot progresses. In Season 3, the concepts of using [SPOILER], [SPOILER], and [SPOILER] are introduced, all of which are merely experimental in the real world. My family is halfway through Season 2 Episode 10, and I've teased the ending as little as I have been able to(for example, "people die, but in ways you wouldn't expect").

Entertainment in general would be in much better shape if more channels would devote more time to enlightening people about the good stuff being done rather than droning on and on ad naseum about all the bad stuff out there.
I really like this show as well, especially the CGI.

What do you think about the show so far? If you had to give it a rating out of 1-10.
@@ZybakTV I have to brush up before watching season 3 it's been a minute. I'd probably give it a 7 or 8 on concept and 6 or 7 on execution.
It's definitely a little gem of it's own and there's a handful of pretty great actors. It hasn't blown me away but it's interesting.
A 10 for me in the sci-fi world probably won't happen unless there's like a god tier Mass Effect or Starcraft show.

5:53 The bombing plot line, I think, was referencing the Timothy McVeigh/Oklahoma City bombing that happened in 1995. It was a way to reference a historical event in the context of the show.

Honestly I can’t think they could have made this show any better. Lots of great things coming together. I love the little things like the Outpost becoming a space themed restaurant chain. There are also things in the show that make me feel uncomfortable and made me go WTF, but that’s exactly what we need from a show like this.
Huh, I remember giving this one a try, but getting annoyed with the drama of the wives in the first season. A lot of feminist stuff that made me just think "I just want cool space race stuff, god-damnit." I may give it another try.
Honestly it's not too bad with a lot of that stuff. Most of the "woke" themes the show explores are generally historically based. women entering the work force, demonization of gay people in the 70s, shaky racial relations, shit that actually happened. I personally don't think it's so bad tbh.
@@ZybakTV I guess with the current political climate IRL, it makes it difficult to trust that it's all done solely for the historical accuracy, and not some woke agenda.
I didn't feel the show was too heavy handed with it. Especially because it has a historical context and the show actually demonstrates how various social elements improve/gain acceptance throughout the years.
@@ZybakTV I burst out laughing in episode 7 when the 2 wives were at the school meeting with the principle and he started to talk about their sons friendship and he said it was a toxic relationship. I lived through this time and that is 1 thing a teacher or any adult for that matter would have never said or even thought. This program tries to overlay social norms that are current on to a 1970s based program, it just doesn't make any sense , the way they talk about things like gay coupes etc , it just didn't go down like that in those days, we had 2 guys that lived together as neighbours, nobody cared, they always came to neighbourhood BBQs, it wasn't even an issue , why is it such an issue now?

Really good show, great pacing like u say and they move on with long time skips etc, a bit heavy handed on the gay propaganda and I worry about what actors will be in next seasons, season 3 was weaker than earlier ones and u foresee that trend carrying on as the show does. Hope the swede is in season 4
Had the same feeling about the unnessary Lesbian character astronaut in season one , the all girl astronauts etc.

Its clear what the real agenda is. They try to show all important things evenly being done by Boss Babes.
Oh good, someone else still with intelligence and astute awareness that this series evens though compared to so many TV series is a very SF one, good actors and story lines, but in truth is just a vehicle for LGBT, migrants and feminism, if it had been made now would have included trans.
In its own way is on par with the outright propaganda films that China use to produce but the emphasis being on gay, black, women and migrants being far superior to all the other characters even the two token he-man males Deeke and Alec Baldwin just served to be shown the errors of their ways by accepting Woke type thinking.
It shows so very well the total take over of Hollywood Woke obsessed writers, where now the 'minority' has enabled themselves to force their views on the majority.
Thank you Matt, just finished all five seasons and even though watching this as so much is bad now, could not agree more with it being called 'For all WOMANkind' as it was the 'most' man-hating series I have ever watched on TV, and I have watched many.

Lame story lines wich has been told a 1000 times and beter.
Bad FX it looks so fake.
The only good thing is the acting, but only good acting does not make a good story.
This show is written so poorly; it oversimplifies the science, and the characters are so thinly developed. HATED it!
