    I’ve noticed a theme to my videos. There seems to be words or phrases I say repeatedly lol, and they change from video to video. That’s half the reason I started editing! You don’t want to know how many times I cut out me saying, “Winter Wonderland”…

      Be nice if you had a little propane cook stove out there they have a little ones that was screwed right on top of the green tanks you at least boil some liquids get some more foods than you until they got them at Walmart for like 20 bucks maybe something worth looking into. I was almost in the woods for a long time I found me a nice secluded spot like you the only thing as I made a little wood burning stove and I used to get lump Cole and throw a couple of things in there it would burn all night long with very little smoke

      @@RobTheNomad all I know trust me I've stayed in in the woods and there was places where I could cook but I had to be pretty careful keep everything on the down low didn't want to cause any unnecessary attention in the area I was in at all had a nice spot secluded nobody else was out there it was kind of only one way in One Way out and that's only if you knew the path. Those little screw on cookers they have for the green tanks or even for the small butane ones they're meant for the people who do that hardcore ultralight backpacking trips it weighs like nothing and uses very little fuel but are efficient as can be. I still got mine and it's nice you can literally use it inside your tent there and while your cooking or actually the heat to place up to and when you're all done it folds up and literally fits in like same size box as a standard single light bulb comes in. If anything you could at least warm up some liquids for yourself which will help in staying warm. I was homeless myself in the woods for a while I've had various kinds of shelters. I've survived some pretty damn cold Winters out there the last one I set up is still out there actually gets used by a few friends lol mostly they're getting a fight with the wifey or girlfriend and they'll go stay out there for a night or two but everything calm down. So now it's almost like a community shack. Set up good now and got heat when the wood burning stove and it also has two small solar panels and we have an old deep cycle marine battery with an inverter on it then it stores and puts out more enough juice to charge your phones and stuff like that if you can't get in the town because it's too crappy to be out in the weather she had that that works out and probably the best part is you can take a shower out there if you want to have it 25 gallon drum that the water is heated by the chimney pipe and copper coil all this didn't happen overnight it took a while to put it all together it gets used by multiple people and taking care of it's good to see that you're doing more than just surviving out there now. Keep on keeping on truly enjoy the videos I know exactly how you feeling where you're coming from then there and I'm just barely above being back in that situation. Take care brother looking forward to the next video.

      He's right bro..I said this before myself. I've done what you're doing for two years.
      On another note.Those propane bottles are VERY expensive! I currently use a BIG Buddy 18,000 btu's and have it hooked up to either a 5 gallon or 7 gallon tank. Using a bigger tank will put propane a few bucks a gallon vs $5-$7 for whatever those little bottles are (1/5 gallon?). Propane here in Washington State is $3.37 gallon. The adaption hose you need should be the same one I use for my big buddy. That hose goes into my same little bottle (big buddy holds two little bottles) connector. The hose is like $25 roughly but it'll save you BIG money. Trust me. 5 gallon tank will probably run that thing constantly for two weeks, at least. I get one week straight at 4500 btu's to 9000 btu's from my 7: gallon tank. That's without ever shutting it off. On high I get about 5 days. Hope this helps you out brother! Take care!

    Was hoping you were still doing well, and I'm so happy at how you're getting everything set up.
    That is so much better to have a windbreak and a bit of a roof for more protection.
    All you have to do is wipe off some of the snow from off the top to keep it from getting too heavy, and you're good to go.
    The snow around the tent will help insulate, along with those blankets and branches.
    You'll be able to enjoy the snow now, because you'll have more warmth from your heater and protection from the snow and ice, and you can sit and munch on something good and just watch the snow fall. 🥰

    Snow shoes are great for hikes and books are a great source of entertainment.
    I know that when I am alone with my thoughts things get bad. Writing is great or some form of Art. You don't need a lot of cash for either of these. Setting goals and planning too can also be entertaining. Think of what makes you happy and gravitate toward that. Your place looks like a cozy castle now compared to the beginning when everything looked dim. Bit by bit you will embrace your new environment or you will make the best plan ever to move up and out but you will be happy knowing you did your best!🙂❤

    looks like a nice set up . that snow will help keep your heat in . pack it up around your walls . leave it on your roof as much as you can . not only will it help keep you warm it will help you blend in and hide from prying eyes . you can cook on that little buddy heater with a little rigging cans of soup or a small pan . just make sure you have it nice and stable . but yeah you can cook on it . i would be more worried about them candles . dont go to sleep with them on .

    Awesome job on the stealth shelter igloo style 😉 I love it!!! You are looking good young man!!! How's the candles working to throw much heat? Something to think about is making emergency candles from grease or shortening...I've made them before...they burn for a long time and you can heat water in a small cup ontop of the candle source...need empty coffee can...put grease filled soup can inside the coffee can...I used twisted Mason Line as a wick when I didn't have candles ready...I put a mesh over the heat source and boiled water for tea in less than 5 minutes...those homemade emergency heat source candles can burn for a few days...I wish I had a video of how I did that 😞 but it was during a time when I didn't have a camera or a phone...you can google it...I got all the stuff I needed from scavenging around so didn't cost one nickle...anyhow I just wanted to touch base with you and send you a warm hug ♡♡♡

    • @RobTheNomad
      @RobTheNomad  2 роки тому +2
