You are very Welcome !!!! You turned an AWESOME Bowl out of that Blank Kim, Thumbs up as always,
My favorite color is blue and you mixed a truly beautiful color.
Both bowls were so beautiful! You are both wonderful craftsman's!
Thank you Theresa!
Both bowls are beautiful guys. I have been doing wood lathe with our Men’s Shed for two years now on a Saturday for two years and I love it I watch the videos for inspiration.
@@debrachampion9172 Thank You
MamaMia! That is out of this world gorgeous! What a magnificent piece of art you made. Great job!! Bravo!

Thank you so much, Stuart! God bless you and yours!
I used to think you were such a kind and giving person but then you sent Doug shells to turn..........The fish bowl idea was inspirational looks fantastic even though I can imagine how much hard work you put in to make it look so good.

@@KimTippin well its a bowl so I guess spooning is allowed.
@@stevenjobbins2600 🤣😂😅
Simply a work of art. I just finished watching Dougs video of him making the blank for you and turning the bowl out of the wood and sea shells you sent him so it made for a perfect pair of videos. Never feel embarrassed about your excitement. I couldn’t imagine turning anything and not being excited about it. So you just keep on doing what you do. God gave you an incredible talent and I am so happy that you share it with the world. You are an amazing lady and artist.
A stunning piece of art!!! The King is coming!!!
Amen! Thank you so much 🤗
New here and very nice colab with Doug! What I like is no two bowls are ever exactly the same, just like people.
Yes, I love that too. Thank you!
I know we're not in India, but Holy Cow that is a beautiful bowl. I like how you polished it to perfection, I see a lot of other turners only polish their resin work so far, I love the shine.
Thank you Jeff!!

Kim Tippin Wood Turning ❤️❤️❤️
Stunning.I followed the link from the Pohl Barn "companion" video-gorgeous!-and was not disappointed. Those shades of blue with greens and the color of the wood-! Definitely something to cherish, and I really enjoyed watching the creative process.
Thank you so much Jacqueline!
My pleasure!
I can not bear it without comment for u !!!
AMAZzzzzzzzzing!!!!!!!
Thank you!!!!
Beautiful bowl. I used to work with a lady doing maintenance in a machine shop and she liked to collect metal chips that came off the lathe or milling machine. When a cutting tool is sharpened correctly and the feeds and speeds are correct, the chips come off in the shape of a number nine.
Thank you Ken!! Wow , that is cool!!
Wow! Great job! The colors really pop!
Thank you James!!
Absolutely stunning bowl. I hope one day I will be able turn something like that. Love your videos and love watching you turn. Thank you

Thank you Bryan! 🤗🤗
That is a truly awesome piece of work. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Max!
For someone who hasn't been turning all that long, I'm amazed at how fast you were able to hone your skills in both the mechanics of wood turning (knowledge of tools and equipment) and with your inner artistry. The bowl is absolutely beautiful and I'm sure it will be a family heirloom your children's children will be proud to possess one day.
Thank you so much, Lastman standing 🤗🤗

Thank you Mitchell!!
Simply stunning. I love the colours so much
Hi Kim my name is David Palmer and I live in Scotland. So far I've watched quite a few of your videos but lately I notice that you are into resin. The only reason that I have turned is for pens and on my learning phase i found something that gave me brilliant results. So give it a try. The pen blanks I turn using a skew band I don't use sandpaper, to finish I first use brasso metal polish and a soft cloth I finish off with silver polish and a soft cloth last I use granite cleaner all are abrasives but reduce down the end result is amazing. I feel it is worth giving it a try and see how it compares. Keep up the good work, but most importantly enjoy your turning. God Bless
Thanks for the tip David!
Doug sent you a great blank, but you turned that blank into a beautiful, beautiful bowl. Such a wonderful turning Kim, one of the very best you have shown. WOW !!!👏👏👍
I would say that this is the most beautyful bowl you've ever did, so far. Great colors, great shape, great shine. Perfect.
Thank you Tobi!! 🤗🤗

Great looking Pohl Bowl!
Lol yes! Thank you!!
Never would have thought that box elder would turn out that pretty I've got two tons of it in my yard that's sixty years old that tornado just blew down about three nights ago.
So beautiful you are a wonderful wood turner
Thank you so much Daniel!!🤗🤗
I came here from Pohl Barn; this is my first time here. I watched his end of the "challenge" and LOVED his result, so I had to see how yours came out. It's absolutely beautiful! It looks like there are actually waves in the resin on one side. Great job!
Thanks for watching, Jenny!! 🤗🤗
Truly a beautiful inspiring piece of work.
Kom you change the blank into a stunning and magnificent bowl. I think Doug will be proud of you. When it comes to wood and resin combined Doug is outstanding.
Yes he is! Thank you!
Beautiful work Kim.
Thank you Bryan!
Wow! Kim! I love to see a woman using Power tools! This bowl is AWESOMNESS! 🤩🤩🤩. I am a new Subscriber and perhaps going to be a huge fan. 👏👏. I won't go into too much detail, but I am an artist. I dabble into all sorts of mediums. Over the decades I have taught my self many different arts from Fabric to now Resin art. Bob Ross is my hero.❤. I appreciate woman who dare to enter into the Male Domain. Being such a woman my self. One of my careers I ran a Material Handling Dept. Part of my duties I drove Heavy equipment. From 2000 lb Stand up stackers to the ginourmous 12,000 lb fork trucks. Various flat beds and a few different Gantry Cranes. The biggest was a 50 ton bruiser. Enough about that. On a recent visit to my local Home Depot I was in search of a simple easy to use router. I wandered around the power tool dept. Looking for this router. Found one, but couldn't get one male sales associate to even look at me, much less ask me if I needed help. I eventually tackled a couple of young men who were somewhat amazed that I wanted this for myself. What!? I dealt with this attitude for many years working in a shop full of men who felt I should be home baking cookies.. But that was years ago. I guess what surprised me is that this attitude is still lurking out there. Just happened into it again. I'm glad you have a good relationship with your male peers. It took me many years to gain any sort of respect from my male coworkers, who after awhile had to give in and accept that a woman could do their jobs, efficiently, with ease and was able to teach them a trick or two from time to time. When I finally left the shop and took up a position behind a desk, they would often come up and visit me. They missed me I guess 😂. Keep up your beautiful art.
Thanks Diane! I too have had mostly male dominate jobs. My father was a mechanic so i started working on cars with him at the shop. Then other jobs like car detailing, flooring sales and installation, auto parts sales, and then moved on to Hair dresser for 10 years before doing photography, crocheting and now wood turning. I was my fathers son lol He always told me I can do anything I put my mind to. I like to at least try.. :) My main job now is my family. The best and hardest job :) I am thankful for all those experiences...good and bad because they have kinda prepared me for being a homemaker, wife and mother. 😃
@@KimTippinprecisely! I too had a dad like yours. We worked on many projects together. From woodworking to smoking fish. Even though I didn't know it at the time, it had prepared me for my future mom and hard worker. 👍
Wow such a beautiful bowl
Thank you Steven!
Extraordinary as usual. What a beautiful piece!
It wasn't until the money shots at the end when the bowl's multi-faceted beauty popped !
I was gonna say something about 'The best bowling ball ... but such a big thumb hole!" until I saw the ending. Love it a lot. Good collab on this one you guys !
Lol. Thank you! 🤗🤗😁
Kim so good to see you back at it again!
Beautiful turning of a beautiful casting by Doug. Y''all made an awesome calab project. Kim it truly is what I imagine the seas in heaven to be.
Thank you Gerald!!
Kim that bowl is a credit to you and your skills. Doug did a beautiful job with mixing the wood and resin and made your job easy, but you make it look 100% perfection. Your Corinthian verse is so true and true to my heart, God Bless! Sean
Thank you so much Sean!! It is mine too!. Thankful for His grace and mercy everyday ❤️
Very nice bowl Kim!
Kim!!! What an amazing piece !!!
Thank you! 🤗🤗
This is a work of high art from start to finish. From the choice of timber and the balance of colours and swirls in the resin, through the turning and finishing of this magnificent work. It belongs in a museum - but I hope it will stay in a home where people will see it!
Thank you 🤗🤗
Beautiful color snd wood great job
