So glad youre back. I have missed you. I have my 3 year old grand daughter with us because her mom is actively in labor with my grandson so we watched this video together. She loves my cabinet shop and all the scraps. Yes the rain is very loud in anmetal building. Hail storms are really bad. My shop is 5200 sqft and insulated but still horible. Cool container, took me back, I turned a pair of heavy kitchen spoons out of coco Bola over 15 yrs. ago, still my favorites. Future note coco Bola can irritate skin and lungs( always wear dust protection, long sleeves) Thanks for the video

Glad to see you back Kim. Thank God that things are working out for you. I make a polishing paste but just with beeswax and mineral oil. I think it stays a little too soft. Where do you get your carnauba wax from?

Oh gosh, I have long forgotten the ratio. But I do remember having to play around with the recipe to get it quite right. I will say be careful not to add too much carranuba wax . I had to re-melt a brick I made when I added too much. A little goes a long way. I will check my old notes and see if I have measurements written down. I will probably have to make a video, so keep that bell on for notifications. 😁🤗

Question: I noticed that you were using a Nova 2 chuck, but cut dovetailed tennons. I also use a Nova 2 and was wondering if you find that a dovetail holds better than a straight one on that chuck.? Thanks
I am sure my jaws are dove tail. almost 100% sure 🤔 now I am gonna have to look. lol. I probably make dove tail on everything out of habit. I would say for that reason it holds better imo. I don't worry too much if the jaws have those ridges on it but otherwise, dovetail everything for me. lol
