Thanks for your comment. I had to pre-upload to check and improve the sound quality as the audio is now digitally enhanced. This is a rare bootleg recorded on the first or second day of the Hot August Night 1972 sessions and the original audio is very poor :-)

I saw an article that said MCA didn't even tape the first night of this concert series. Thursday was the album. One site showed bootlegs of other nights. The writer said that Neil was ill during these concerts. My brother had the original double LP. I have the 40th anniversary CD edition.
I read that he was battling the flu. What a trooper!
Lee Holdridge , Neil’s musical arranger and orchestra conductor par excellence , stated that in his opinion … “ It was nerves , this engagement at The Greek (a sold-out, 10-night stand) was the making of him , I saw it close-up … He was nervous.”
