They put on a great show in San Diego the next night, too. They did a perfect Statesboro Blues, which was amazing, but not surprising since he was a member of the band for a few years. Great band, amazing guitarist!
Yay i was here! (Sat a little farther back though 😁) I rarely see legit concerts (mostly bars, clubs and more like HOB) but i went to this, what an amazing surprise that they did this song, and obviously they rocked it!!! The whole show was amazing.

@JethroTull2001 way too mechanical, doesn't have Pages light and shade. Derek is a chronic overplayer in solos. Definitely substandard when compared to the original. Derek is way to mechanical.

Got to love the versatility of this band. They play everything, and they do it so, so well.
And it’s not just a versatility with a 3 or 4 member band. This is a 12 pc band making those adjustments. Of course, I’m preaching to the choir.
