Story : In 2007, while training for the Olympics, Matthias Steiner lost his wife in a fatal car accident. In the most difficult time of his life, Steiner had to choose whether to quit or continue with his training. Before she passed, Steiner promised his wife he would do everything he could to win gold. He continued with his training every day, but when the day came, Steiner failed his final attempt on snatch, his only chance at gold. To finish with the best lifts of his life, but he also failed his first lift in the clean & jerk as well. In the final lift of the competition, Steiner had to lift 258kg to win, heavier than any lift he had ever attempted in his life. Yet, Steiner kept his promise and brought a gold medal home to Germany
