My work use lots of Birmingham trades. I was looking for your contact details but they don’t appear anywhere obvious on the channel. Hope our paths cross and thanks for sharing
Looks so much better! You're going to make back those 2 days off in no time, being much more efficient. And now you can fit panels in and nothing gets damaged 👌
Looks good mate! Like the clamps and little wooden bits to stop the boxes sliding out. Might think of adding some armaplate security to the doors, thieves love organized vans.
Nah.. it actually looks pretty neat from what I remember you had before, what a state it was in. So ye, huge improvement easily accessible as well! Keep up the work lad!!!
Nice job, man. I've now been through multiple vans in my self-employed career (mostly LWB Transits). Always meant to do a proper racking set-up. Always did the absolute minimum for the rare occasion, personal or professional, where I needed to empty the whole thing out to carry something bulky; sofa, aluminium tower, etc. Recently made a set of drawers using the "Eurobox" "basic-line"; ply and timber runners. Suddenly all my screws, bolts, ratchet straps, etc, make sense! Like the slide-back drill bit and saw blade rack. Quite right charging the customer for consumables like blades and drill bits . 👍 Get a bench grinder with a fine stone, and re-sharpen your drill bits in seconds (Videos on UA-cam). And still charge the customer for a new bit. 😊 Also, years ago, made a crate thing out of interlocked 6mm mdf that holds a dozen tubes of silicon, sealant, caulk, and at the back end, 6 tubes of foam or pray paint, etc. It just sits on the floor but I love it and it's had some admiring comments. Best, Mark
Looks great! Only thing I could say is when I racked my van I wish I’d put the stuff I use the most at the top, easier to access with materials in the way!
Really enjoyed seeing this and how organised your van is now. I particularly liked the sliding unit hidden behind. Don't think I'd seen that before. Like others, I'd be curious to know that you have further van security in place (without wanting you to share precise details, of course).
Decent for first setup, I can see you in a bigger van in the future, you are on the way up . This veteran is learning from your videos. Keep up the good work.
It makes your life so much easier everything has its place easy out easy in. Its only a workvan and its for one thing only makin you money 💰....some boys put some money and work in to there own vans think its crazy.... but sure if it floats there boats lol all the best
Looks great mate, thanks for sharing. My only critique would be -too much redundant ply. Doesn't need a full floor in each cabinet when you already have a floor. Just a strap front and back (the front one would also stop shit sliding out) Every second side panel could be 3mm, plastic instead of ply drawers etc, etc. More ply = more weight and lost volume. Also you could think about dedicated tie down areas on the passenger side to relocate a couple of heavier tools to when you know you'll only be driving solo and not hauling materials for a bit -all your weight is on one side. Cool job though. Just subscribed, looking forward to more content. Cheers!
Like the vid! Very organised now I bet you’ll see a dramatic difference in time trying to find tools etc I would however put the dust pan and brush on the back doors so it’s very easy to get to if you need to sweep up the tiniest bit
looks great good job racking is a simple thing but its a game changer helps you to become more organised and efficient instead of digging through a pile of boxes and bags.
Nice bit of racking mate if u want bit more storage for tools etc build some racking over left hand side wheel arch and can still get same materials in van
Looks good As others have said.. Extra locks on the van.. Wont stop a theif but will make the next van up the street look an easier target... I also take my tools out og my van at night... Or at least the stuff in the carry boxes. Fuck what anyone says about the racking its only got to function for your needs nobody elses and if its like mine it will evolve over time aswell.
Looks good mate but where do you keep all the expanding foam for when your squirting it into your trimmed doors as per your tutorial.?😂 sorry couldn’t resist and think you’ve taken it down tbf…. ✌🏻
my last 2 vans now ive put false floors in and i would always do it now you can slide your ladders and shovels and everything in underneath then have basically a clear space on top for materials and racking on top
you can buy a tool to check if there is any live wiring behind something - my mulitmeter £19 has one i forget the term lcv? Can't recall but tells me if there is any wiring behind or if its live. Would work well for you i imagine. But there shouldn't be any wiring behind that panel as the looms usually run in a zone so should you have any impact its not going to go through that loom.
That storage bit at the top why don’t you hinge it at the bottom and put the stops at the top so you don’t have to mess about taking it off and on all time
Please please, put some decent deadlocks on your van, no matter what it costs, because it will be cheaper than replacing any tools, by the way nice job.
Should have put shelves on a decline , then you wouldn’t need the wood stops . Bungie straps are dangerous , sack them off , my friend damaged his eye on one.
Get some dead locks for your van now you have shown everyone what you have in there. Looks good! Well done
He takes everything out every night only way as a tradesman
i take everything out at night but yes i’m going to invest in some dead locks also
Watch out they cost more than you think. I also got anti peel brackets.

@@ttdowgcarpentry2390 that’s a couple more half an hours every day to deduct from your hourly rate.
It’s such a bummer being a chippy.
Looks so much better! You're going to make back those 2 days off in no time, being much more efficient. And now you can fit panels in and nothing gets damaged 👌
Looks spot on mate..can easily get doors, timbers and sheets in there. 👌🏻

Looks good! Being organised means you can be more efficient. You won't notice it but over time you'll be saving so much time.
Looks great! Only thing I could say is when I racked my van I wish I’d put the stuff I use the most at the top, easier to access with materials in the way!
I use modesty blocks in front of my tstak boxes on the shelf to stop them sliding . Nice rack 😂 i love that drill bit shelf great idea

Well worth the two days of work great job
If it works to your needs then job done, if not change it you a good carpenter. Nice. Lee
Plasterboard screw gun for cabinet making?! Jeez, that’s wild 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah I'd like to see how you made it mate, thanks for the video brother
The collated screw guns are good for installing deck boards, obvs once you’ve assembled the frame. But yeah, they’re good for installing deck boards
Looks good

Great video as always, made good use of your data power tools discount code last night as well 👍
Looks great! Can you get a 3m worktop in the van? I've seen flooring guys use the drywall gun when screwing down ply boards. Great channel!
Is your van a lwb or swb ?? The racking looks really good mate
Maybe the collated screw gun if you ever plywood floors
Spot on mate, you do it to your own personal needs
Sweet Job, it will give you peace of mind, a organised Mind is a prepared Mind
Nice job 👍🏻 man
Looks great, it will work well. I think I would get a guard dog or something to live inside.
Well done mate looks good
Nice job , I'd drill some 25mm holes in the pull out draws for ease of use
You are very talanted. Good job.
The video we’ve all been waiting for
Looks good mate but where do you keep all the expanding foam for when your squirting it into your trimmed doors as per your tutorial.?😂 sorry couldn’t resist and think you’ve taken it down tbf…. ✌🏻
😂😂😂😂 that was a one off
make sure to watch the next day in the life episode 😂
Great vid 👍
I can't believe you didn't put a Van Vault in 😵
I wish I did 😅🥲
Looks awseome....Makes me ashamed of mine now lol
Excellent work bud
Great work new service you can offer 😉
Great video as always, would definitely be keen to see how you put it all together! Is your transit short/long wheel based? Cheers, Mike.
This one’s a short wheelbase mate, you can tell by the gap from the wheel arch to the rear bumper on these :)
In my experience the blue wipes are just a bit more abrasive so they remove dirt etc a bit easier
Cool just got a new van has give me some great ideas
my last 2 vans now ive put false floors in and i would always do it now you can slide your ladders and shovels and everything in underneath then have basically a clear space on top for materials and racking on top
Thats what I've done to mine. Never go back
Yeah that's a good idea
Sick bro…but wait until you get stuff in that loading space
Looks the good mate🤙
If it works for you then it’s good👍I second the van dead locks & steering lock 👍🤘
Great job 👏
All my shelves are at a 15* tilt, that way nothing will fall off when I'm drifting my van!!!!
Looks cood but like others have said get door locks to keep your tools safe🔒🔒
where does the apprentice keep his tools
If it works for you that’s all that matters, would like to see a video on how you fitted it in place.
Seen a few people use screw guns with and extension for screwing down t&g deck boards
What’s the track/truck saw ? Is it another name for circular saw ?
Plunge saw
Interested to know what the materials cost please.
Love it nice job ..............
I think it’d be cool to see how you made it

grandads always right 😉🤣
You should to a small bevel on the bottom of the bottom racks it would be enough to retain them in place
Tool thiefs will open that van up like a can of beans
We’re does you’re dewalt light live
please get some sort of smart lock shit because that is a lot of money that people will take even if u dont think they will take it
Please please, put some decent deadlocks on your van, no matter what it costs, because it will be cheaper than replacing any tools, by the way nice job.
Why didn't you record this content for the subscribers? actual Rack build 🤷🏻♂️
Should have put shelves on a decline , then you wouldn’t need the wood stops .
Bungie straps are dangerous , sack them off , my friend damaged his eye on one.
was thinking that while installing thinking of putting CT1 on the end rim so it won’t ever snap off
Get yourself tool insurance mate . Good chance someone will target that van now
You need dead locks mate. ASAP. They know what you have now.
🤘😎🤘
Nice work, but please get all the security you can to deter the scum who think nicking a trades mans tools is a victim less crime. good man.
