Hello again Bara, so many new visitors have visited the channel but have not seen other parts of the layout. so yes it was great to have a break from the Tyne Dock build just for a few hours to share the layout. many thanks again for commenting my friend. Tony.
Across the pond here, discovered you just before Covid hit and my eyes, ears and mind have been glued to your every video, some played more then once! You are a master builder and I tip my hat to you! This video was a great recap and look at the layout. I think a lot of us builders would like an in depth look at the infamous bench where the magic happens, your paint pots, raw materials, tools, organization etc would also make a great video! Blessings Tony , you and the missus are in my prayers, a fan from across the pond......
Good evening Rev. thank you for commenting, as it is always refreshing to see new people in the comments page. especially from across the pretty big pond. i always try and keep things simples so that other would be modellers can take up the hobby and follow in my footsteps. many thanks again and all the best Tony.
Hi Tony, your layout and your beautifully crafted buildings continue to hold me in awe and inspire me to push ahead with my own scratchbuilds. Lovely to tour the stations and to actually see the maestro on camera. Cheers.
Awesome, thank you! David. This comment is why i do these video's. its not about the praise. its about sharing learning that people like yourself having a go at scratch building. thank you for commenting. and happy scratch building my friend. Cheer's Tony.
Hi Tony, absolutely superb modelling and detail, great to see the 6 stations and the layout in all its glory!! Really enjoyed the video, many thanks! Cheers Gary
A lot of memories from a lot of videos. I remember the time spent on South Shields Station, especially the roof. I still do not know where you got all the patience from in making spans for the roof. it took a long time and you had to take the curve into account as well. Tony, you have been an inspiration to all that have watched your videos. I wish there was a category in The Hornby Magazine for the best model maker of the year. You would get my vote.
Hi Martin, your too kind with your words. and i do appreciate the comments. i just don't know what to say. except thank you my friend. very humbling. many thanks again. Tony.
South Shields, seen from the perspective of an engine driver just looks so realistic - an absolute tour de force of model making skills. An incredible thing in its own right. I remember watching the progress of the roof, and thinking just how amazing it was and the time spent in its construction. It really inspired me to take up the hobby again, in my sixties. Thank you, Tony.
Thank you very much! David. I am glad that you have inspired back into the hobby, you must have the same passion for the hobby. for me its not so much about running trains but the how's and why's about making buildings and making them fit into the layout. take care my friend. all the best Tony.
I have said it before Tony, and i will always say, South Shields station is the best scratch built building on any model railway on any channel………bar none….its a master piece of modelling…..👍
Hi Tony, what a treat to come back from holiday and find a really excelled tour of your fantastic stations,so many memories!! And indeed so much to look forward to. The detail you put into your builds is what makes Tony North Eastern unique. I know it's impossible to show but one of the features I really enjoyed seeing was at South Shields your magnificent Magpie on the ceiling of the booking hall, but as you often say "you know it's there " thanks not only for your wonderful builds and the inspiration that goes with them. Love to you both, I'll tell you about my adventures in north Wales last week soon Eddy and Anne xxx
Good evening Eddy & Anne. i hope you both have had a great time in sunny Wales. as yes the hidden gem of south shields not everyone knows about the magpie hidden away on the ceiling. i think we shall just keep that one between us, lol. if i don't hear from you soon. have a great weekend. take care. best wishes Tony & Laura.
Great to see you Tony - your work is an inspiration and it’s great with this run through to see how you built your skills and confidence in your craft / art 👍
Great video, followed several of these station builds and can't believe how the time/years have flown by Excellent modelling, your research and eye for detail, your planning and execution of the builds is first class, thanks too for the background information regarding the stations and the plans for Little Haven Regards, James
This really is a Wonderful Video Tony extolling the virtues of your brilliant Modelling skills, It's fantastic to see the whole layout to see how the design comes together, If possible can you do a running session showing Trains running around the entire layout promoting your excellent Camera skills, It does not have to be very long just a taste of nostalgia showing all your hard work with many patience hours at the modelling table, thank you for making these Videos, very best wishes, Colin.
Hi Colin, thank you for commenting, and your kind words of support. I do like the idea of a running session showing the a train passing through the stations. hopefully you wont have to wait to long. many thanks again. cheer's for now Tony.
I was shielding when you built South Shields. I watched it from start to finish. It is a fantastic building. Also, the signal box and water tower. I love the people you created as well. Well done. It's a great video. Great work, thank you.
Hello Duncan. Its been a privilege to share my endeavours with you. and i was able to entertain you throughout your shielding. many thanks again for your support, take care my friend. Tony.
An excellent video Tony. When you see all the stations together it really gives the layout some depth. As always the details are so good. Cheers George.
I have followed since you started Jarrow Road, but its been great to see a review of all the stations. All the best to you both. I look forward to more of your brilliant sratch building to inspire my own.
Thank you for showing us around the layout was really impressed by South Shields station interesting work going on at Tyne Dock can't wait to see how Little Haven turns out followed all your builds since South Shields very interesting and inspiring
Its our pleasure to share these videos Stephen. Past and present builds are always worth a look back now and again. until next time stay safe. cheer's Tony.
Wow Tony what a wonderful Layout you have built. So nice to have a look at the journey. It's a joy to see. You explain things so well and make everything interesting. Thanks for sharing Tony. Best wishes Richard Canterbury.
Glad you enjoyed the Tour Richard. it made a change from normal content. and it was nice to have a break from the building Tyne Dock for a few hours. thanks again for commenting. until next time stay safe Tony.
Your very welcome Andy. its always a pleasure to show these buildings. which i think inspires others and yourself into creating something special for your own layouts. take care my friend. Tony.
Thank you forr the nostalgic tour of your layout, Tony,, actually I am still as impressed by it all as I was when I saw each of the last three stations built - I don't think that I've seen any model station that is the equal to South Shields - either in person or on UA-cam! It really is something! Once again, thank you for sharing, All the best, Ken.

Hi Tony. As a Southerner I am connected to where people live. I am a retired truck driver so I know the Tyne. Meeting a ship (FE1) in South Shields harbour back in the 80s. The tall ships in Newcastle too. Looking at your layout, I am always amazed by your attention to detail. You have captured the North East so well. I have enjoyed this tour of your wonderful railway layout. Regards Alan :o)
Good morning Alan, thank you for commenting, interesting to hear of your working past as a lorry driver. i am guessing you have been all round the UK in that previous roll. i remember when the tall ships came to the Tyne. watching them leave was amazing as i was on the pier. thanks again for your kind words. stay safe y friend. This is by far the nicest and most realistic model railway I am honoured to be subscribed to.. Amazing detail, great weathering and historically sound for its time frame. Well done Tony and I am sure whatever you get done next will be just as good. Newhassle definately looks a bit ‘Hornby’ compared to the scratch builds. Excellent model railway..👌🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.. Chris

@@TONYNORTHEASTERN that’s good to hear Tony! I have another suggestion, but I don’t know if it’s feasible or not. Are you able to get a camera high enough in your loft to show a “top down” view of the track layout? Even after many years of viewing your videos, I’m not sure where the stations are in relation to each other. New viewers might also benefit from this. If not a video, perhaps a drawing or layout plan? Thanks as always.
Hello Tony! It has been an absolute pleasure watching you scratch building so many amazing projects your attention to detail is amazing! Kind regards Deano
great tour of you train building you did on the layout tony lots good builds on the layout layout are never do you add to the all the time thanks for the great vlogs you do on channel and builds thanks lee
Thanks for the stations tour of TNE. This was my first time that I noticed the High Shields Station. I remember seeing the train spotters and the church before. We started following you when you were soldering the copper rods for South Shields. With the pause in construction at Tyne Dock Station I hope Sid is not upset. Even though he is in a better position than the station master at Little Haven. Bill and Janet from California
Hello Bill & Janet. I am glad that you enjoyed the station tour. and its always great to show the other stations on the layout rather than the smaller buildings. I just feel sorry for Charlie Gibs the station master of Little Haven. all he has is a small shed for a station building. hopefully that will all change soon once Tyne Dock is finished. Thank you for commenting, take care for now. Tony & Laura.
Interesting thought. i may have to check out some photo's of Bristol Temple Mead station. I am glad that you enjoyed the tour. Many thanks for commenting. cheer's for now tony.
Nice video Tony. Enjoyed the tour of all the stations. Didn't realise there is 6 all up! Looking forward to seeing the construction on Little Haven station.
Glad you enjoyed the video Nicholas. your not the only one, as lots of people don't know there is 6 stations. little haven is going to be something a bit special as it will have its own little dock yard. so yes i am also looking forward to getting stuck into that build. take care my friend. many thanks again Tony.
Thank you Robert, i try my best to vary the content, which sometimes can be a hard when i am focused on a major build. but i am glad that you are enjoying these experiences. take care for now Tony.
Thanks for the all stations tour, Tony. As a relatively new subscriber I wasn't aware that there were six. Your eye for detail and skill in bringing it to fruition is brilliant
Good evening John. And welcome to the T,N,E. this video was aimed at the new subscribers, plus a reminder for the existing bunch. Lol. normally i would do the odd running session videos to venture out and about the layout. so hopefully i can come with one of those sometime soon. thanks again for commenting. all the best Tony.

A great reminder of your progress. Tony. I think I came to your channel when you started South Shields. I can’t believe it was that long ago. Seems like yesterday. Thoroughly enjoy watching your work. Thanks for sharing. Roy.
Good evening Roy. time goes ever so quickly. and its scary sometimes. i was always apprehensive when i started the building of south shields as i was never sure about how i was going to tackle the roof section. but in the end i think i got away with it. thank you again for commenting. cheer's for now Tony.
Absolutely jaw dropping Tony, literally,This channel of yours has become my favourite on utube.A charming channel, run by a charming man.Simply ,thank you .......
Yeah thanks Adi. its does help to show the new subscribers what the layout is all about. not like us who have witnessed the builds right from the beginning. take care my friend. Tony.
Absolutely stunning work Tony . You are THE top modeler on Yuotube. And i am so pleased to know you and be a friend. You inspire me so much for model railways. Regards Lord Al.
Thanks for the tour of your six stations on North Eastern Tony. I only have one and that was enough. Currently enjoying a mini break with the wife doing a spot of fresh water fishing 🎣 had 43 fish over three days, must be getting old back and knees are killing me lol 😂
Hello Barry. i hope the fishing has paid off and you have caught a whopper. i sometimes struggle with my knees. anyway take care my friend. all the very best Tony.
An excellent recap Tony, not surprised you had some memory problems there’s so much amazing and varied/ different content duke box, barbers etc. I often think could do with an endoscope with a wide angled lens to have a peek in some of those rooms! You surprised me when said was going to initially plonk kits down; then it all changed with the SSS masterpiece, what a leap, but the Covid debacle was obviously perfect timing. Trying to do SSS in precious evenings might have been something very different! You really have got everything to fit in so well in that loft. I would be very interested to see how you planned it initially ( from pre baseboards - you had Tyne Dock underpass and framework built from the start if I remember correctly) and what if any major changes/ steps have occurred to your ideas as you got the track and station locations down and as you tend to completing this (if ever, ha ha). Is it worth a video on? All the very best Stephen
Good morning Stephen, Memory. the trouble i have is, i dont remember every detail that i had put into each room. as it does vary. even now i think i am adding more details than i did when i had built shields. hence why tyne dock is taking so long. The baseboards where very basic at the start, then lots of small add on's kept popping up here and there. which now the layout has become to big. Lol. but yes like you have said many changes have happened along the way. thanks again for commenting stay safe. all the best Tony.
Good question Ian. the room is 6.5 metres in length and 4 metres across. its too big if you ask me. especially for one person. hence why it has taken me nearly 8 years to get as far as i have with this layout. thanks again for the question, cheer's for now Tony.

Yeah thanks Adi. its does help to show the new subscribers what the layout is all about. not like us who have witnessed the builds right from the beginning. take care my friend. Tony.
Nice to put a Face with the voice. Awesome layout can't wait to see more
Thank you. but yes it is good to pop up now again in front of the camara. instead of letting my hands do the talking. cheer's for now Tony.
Hi Tony great visiting the stations that make the Nort Eastern, what an amazing layout it is. Thanks for sharing it with us all my friend.
You are very welcome Steve. its seems like this journey of building a model railway has gone on for ever. all the best Tony.
Absolutely stunning work Tony . You are THE top modeler on Yuotube. And i am so pleased to know you and be a friend. You inspire me so much for model railways.

Amazing
Thank you, and thank for your kind words of support. cheer's Tony.
A tour de force.
Cheer's buddy. many thanks Tony.
Nice tour. I'd love to see how the stations are all connected together. How big is the room?
Good question Ian. the room is 6.5 metres in length and 4 metres across. its too big if you ask me. especially for one person. hence why it has taken me nearly 8 years to get as far as i have with this layout. thanks again for the question, cheer's for now Tony.
Speechless..🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊.......🤜🤛
I don't know what to say to this comment. Speechless must be infectious. cheerio my friend. Tony.
